I made a surprise stop here when the pike turned into a parking lot on my trip back from Albany…read more Rustic had been on my radar for a few years and it was a good excuse to stop. Tucked in the basement of a historic mill, it's clear how rustic is a fitting name. Thankfully there is ample signage to direct you to the libations as it could be challenging to find without it. There's plenty of parking and multiple lots to choose from. It was eerily quiet for a Friday night at 6pm as I was 1 of maybe 3 or 4 patrons. The beer tender greeted me with a quick smile and description of their serving styles. Due to my short stop I only had 1 draft and grabbed a few treats to go. I didn't notice any food trucks, but I also wasn't looking for any. Although it's in the basement, it's quite warm, bright, clean and inviting. There was plenty of entertainment available from board games and televisions to gaming systems and pinball machines. Well-behaved, potty trained children and dogs are both welcome. The beer was tasty and made me wish I had more time to try some of their different styles. If I'm ever up that way again I will definitely drop in and try a few more while taking a turn on the pinball machines.

They have a fruited sour, two IPAs, and a porter. The brewery is located in the Indian Orchard Mill, really cool to get to go in such an old place! It has a great vibe and I can absolutely recommend.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Stopped here for a drink after having dinner with friends. Thought it…read morewould be cool because of the beer list. Middle aged white haired man behind the bar is the owner. I had a beer that my friend ordered and then stepped up to the bar to order another. When I tried to order, he was immediately rude before I got 2 words out of my mouth. He started yelling (yes, yelling) at me and telling me I had to wait. I was shocked. It made no sense. When I politely asked why he was so excited, he yelled, "WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?!?!" at me. It was obvious he had been drinking. I couldn't believe it so I quietly stepped down to the other end of the bar and ordered my beer from a female bartender who was polite. She confirmed he was the owner. I asked if he was usually rude and she made an embarrassed face at me as if to confirm that he is and to say sorry. I went back to my friends only to notice the owner kept glaring at us and saying things to other patrons who would turn and look at us. We tried to ignore him, but he started yelling "WHAT"S YOUR PROBLEM?!?" at me across the bar and then called me an asshole. We couldn't believe it. He then yelled at us to leave. I told him that I would finish my beer and go, and then the owner's son (who was also drunk) suddenly PHYSICALLY ATTACKED ME FROM BEHIND!! It was unreal. All of this spilled out into the street where the owner and his son followed us down the block with some of their friends and continued to try to engage us in a fight. Could not believe it. We had to jump in a car and leave. SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. This place is awful. I've been all over the world and I've never seen anything like this. I read the other review on YELP where the patron recalled being treated horribly for being gay and it sounded just like what we experienced from this drunk jerk (the owner). AWFUL OWNER, AWFUL PEOPLE, AWFUL SERVICE, AWFUL BAR. Do yourself a favor and don't expose yourself or your friends to this place. It's not safe and they don't deserve your money.

ALL OF THE BEER!!!!! What an awesome beer selection! Usually I am lucky if a bar has one or two…read moresours, they had many. They have lots of beers on tap here and even more in bottles. I wish it was closer to my house so I could hang out and uber home. Bartender was very knowledgeable about the beers which is always appreciated. After seeing what we ordered initially, he made other suggestions. This is just a bar, reminds me of somewhere old school like a dive in fishtown in Philly. They have a popcorn machine and chips, they do not serve food. They do have a stash of menus from local delivery spots and they don't care if you order food in. I hope to come back here a lot
