This is a small eatery (I counted max 39 seats between tables and the bar) with difficult parking…read more I was able to get a spot right in front b because I went to lunch, but the parking lot has signs saying it is for employees of the wood shop next door, and no trespassing in the lot across the street, so I think street parking is the only option? Service is great, very attentive and friendly. The food is what earns this three stars. I tried a stuffie, German onion soup, a Farmhouse burger, and a key lime Mason jar. The stuffie was a little small, and most of the flavor was imparted by the ham and the squeeze of lemon. The German onion soup, I'm not sure why it was German except to not be French? Outside the name difference, the onions were way too large, and there was a total lack of flavor going on in the soup. The crock was very large too. The burger and fries looked pretty good, and I enjoyed the flavors here. The fries were rough hewn, so there was good crispness from all the edges. The toppings of the burger, and the bun, were also hearty. Unfortunately, my medium rare burger was more like raw meat with surface browning. I'm a big fan of rare steak, but ground beef needs a little more cooking. Also, the house made ketchup is really more of a marinara sauce. If I'd ended up eating more of my plate before they took it away to re-fire the burger, I would have asked to replace the ketchup. The key lime Mason jar was e everything you want to wrap up a meal. Great flavor, lightness, citrus. I did have to bring most of it home but, unlike the burger they brought back in a box, I'm excited to get back into the key lime. From an accessibility stand point, there is no ramp to get in nor handicap parking, so the evidently don't want your business. Once you're in, there are some seats you could get in, but if this place were full it would be difficult to navigate for anyone. The bathroom is a single room, but very spacious and nice. So, mixed bag for access. Your mileage may vary, but I'm not racing to return.

"We invite you to have a taste of Germany, no passport required"-Munich Haus…read more A truly authentic German restaurant with loads of events at the restaurant, banquet hall, & outdoor biergarten featuring live music. Big place that takes up a entire corner in downtown Chicopee, MA. Three parking lots behind the restaurant. Offering lunch & dinner Sun-Thu 11:30am-9pm, Fri & Sat 11:30am-10pm. We visited here on Saturday evening April 18. 2026. This place was highly recommended by our friends from the German-american Club of Albany (NY). Half our party had been here many previous times & for the other half, it was our first time. This day they were hosting their annual wild game feast in the banquet hall. 50+ people attended this event. Munich Haus has 20 or so special events per year. Our party of six was here for dinner. Our server was the spunky Maria who made this a memorable dinner. We were here for their famous schnitzels. A hearty meal excellently prepared and served eight ways. Comes with soup or salad and choice of two sides (i.e. spaetzle, potato pancakes, sauerkraut, red cabbage, or chef's vegetable). Also you can get a schnitzel sampler of 3 varieties. WOW! Also offered are sauerbraten, rouladen, chicken Reisling, braised lamb shanks, a variety of wursts (sausages) and delicious dessets. It's simply WUNDERBAR! Many thanks again to Maria & the rest of the Munich Haus staff for a tasty & memorable dinner road trip "for a taste of Germany, no passport required." Pros: Cozy, British pub style atmosphere; interesting small plates, not too expensive…read more Cons: gets extremely crowded in the evenings; very loud when crowded; staff is snobbish I've been here a few times, and my most enjoyable experiences were during lunch. If you can sit at the bar or in one of the 2 tables by the window, you'll get excellent service. The charcuterie board is great, and the drink selection is also pretty good. However, the last time we came here, it was the middle of the afternoon on Valentine's day. I'm from Boston and Cape Cod and my partner is European; we look like it and we act like it. Upon a brief interaction with the hostess, we both felt spoken down to: "YOU'RE trying to come in on Valentine's day? Without a reservation?" This, coming from someone with a Worcester accent who was dressed like a boy going to church choir. We were shooed away into the dining area: "I guess you could stand over there and look at the menu". It's about 330 in the afternoon- most tables are completely empty. Then a different staff member, also with a working class accent, says "I need you to clear out of this walkway because this is for staff only", despite the fact that no staff were walking there and we had been standing there about 20-30 seconds. We left without saying anything as the hostess tried to say something to us. If you want to feel spoken down to, in the working class city of Worcester no less, come here. Alternately, if you're feeling aggressive and want to squeeze your way in to sit touching shoulder to shoulder, come here. The time before this, the hostess was a soft-spoken woman who mumbled a lot; we had to elbow people out of the way at the middle bar section, which is where she directed us. Maybe in another year I'll want to come back for lunch only. Honestly, I'd rather drive back to Boston if I'm going to be treated snobbishly.

Beginning in 2002, Pac and Osella began getting together on weekends to homebrew and create food pairings. Pac brewed the beer while Osella (a chef) crafted the food pairings. In 2014, the duo launched 'Skyline Hop Shop' as an alternating proprietorship operation inside Westfield River Brewing Company at 707 College Highway. Osella offered fresh food that paired well with WRB's brews while Pac offered home brewing classes and supplies. They quickly outgrew the space and reopened as 'Skyline Trading Company' at 124 Elm Street in 2016. At this location, Pac and Osello expanded their menu both of food and beer, adding craft whiskey and tequila to the mix. After outgrowing their space again, the partners moved to 98 Southwick Road and reopened as 'Skyline Beer Company' in December 2019. Head brewer Dana Bishop came on board as additional partner, and Coy Chaney was hired as the Assistant Brew Master. The current 4,500-square-foot restaurant and taproom offers 24 rotating draught lines, cocktails, a full food menu, and beautiful views of the rolling hills of Western Mass. I recently visited Skyline Beer Company while I was cycling on the nearby Columbia Greenway Rail Trail. Skyline was on my list of breweries to try for a while, so I decided to stop by for some beers and bites. The taproom and restaurant was spacious and inviting with plenty of seating both inside and outside. I opted to sit outside and began to look over their extensive beer and food menu. I ordered a sampler flight that included "Forget Me Not" (New England Pale Ale), "Up In Smoke" (New England IPA), "Listening Juice" (Double IPA), and "Mother Ocean" (New England IPA). For food, I ordered a plate of delicious "Pretzel Bites & Cheesy Sauce". I really enjoyed all of the beers that I tried, but "Up In Smoke" (with delicious notes of grapefruit and marshmallow) was easily my favorite! I ended up ordering a full pour of it before leaving. The pretzel bites were equally delicious and paired well with my beers. I had an exceptional experience at Skyline and I look forward to returning in the future!
