Best waffles and grand slam breakfast we've ever had. Food was delicious. Server was super nice and quick with our order. Check this place out you won't regret it :)

First time visit this place and love it. It's hard for everyone during this pandemic time so will definitely support the locals. Tried their pancakes and crab cake egg benedict which are recommended, and love them both! Will definitely come back for more. Their portion, value, and customer service are all excellent. Menu is so big that will need to visit a few times to try them all! Glad that I found this place for brunch menu

First time trying this family restaurant. They open on Civic Holiday and gave us an excellent opportunity to enjoy our patio breakfast on a relaxing civic holiday morning. They have about 10 seats outside as patio seating. We called to reserve a table for 2 at the patio. It wasn't too hot in the morning and the street is not too busy during the civic holiday, so the street noisy level is good. However, there are few annoying flys keep flying around the table, but this is just nature if we chose to seat outside, nd the restaurant cannot do nothing about it. I orderd the Crab cake Egg Benedict and my wife ordered Flickel pickle Breakfast poutine. Coffee and Decaffeinated coffee are extra $2.25 extra with free refills. Food arrived around 10 minutes later and both dishes taste great. Big portion with the potatoes on the side on my Benedict. Price are reasonable, service were great. Plenty of street parking when they were there. We will definitely go come to try out their dinner or brunches.

My failure of an egg white omelette that was undercooked and runny.

I had high hopes that were quickly erased when the my order for an egg white omelette came as a regular one and the remake was rushed and under cooked. Listening to a customers order is the most important aspect of a restaurant experience. This one didn't work out.

    Breakfast wrap was great.

Great greasy spoon diner. Huge menu, lots of options for lunch and breakfast. Even though the menu is so big, they will do any substitutions, add ons with no problems! Egg bennies are a highlight. I had the breakfast wrap (added tomatoes and lettuce) which was great. Fries are extra crispy. Excellent fries pickles. Yum! Great service too. Recommend!

Had to be in Stouffville for the morning and decided to pop in to try their breakfast. To be honest, this is your standard run of the mill diner. Previously frozen sausages, small eggs, Demptsers bread and OK home fries. There's really nothing to write home about. It's a perfectly good breakfast at a reasonable price if you're not looking for something impressive. Service was courteous, fast and what you'd expect. Quality of food was alright. Overall a solid 3 stars. Don't expect to have your socks blown off - but that's not what they advertise but a little effort would be nice.

We found this place during our mini road trip and enjoyed a nice breakfast. Really good atmosphere and friendly staff. The place was absolutely packed and I'm sure the dinner service is just as good, it has a different special everyday. It's better than Cora's breakfast and more reasonably priced too. Would come again if we passed by. Full of locals. Owner is a nice old man. Side note: restrooms are dirty but that's not what you're here for is it.

    Huen W.

I'm living at Stouffville. One of my favorite restaurants in Stouffville. I love how the old man I guess is the owner, serving us sincerely, reminding us that the food portion is big so we don't need to order too many dishes. Don't expect fancy dishes, simple but delicious, and their price is reasonable.

$17 steak. Mushroom was really delish. Soggy veggies

Food: Classic Greek Salad (5/5) - fresh, tasty salad that's great to share. I love Greek salad in general and this hits the spot Saganaki (5/5) - flaming cheese! I don't love cheese too much but saganaki I'll eat for sure. Savoury cheese topped with a squeeze of lemon and pairs well with the complimentary garlic bread. Calamari (5/5) - Nice, large slices of fried calamari with a side of tzatziki. I can eat this for days! Pork souvlaki stick (5/5) - Well-seasoned pieces of pork on a stick and grilled to perfection! Comes with a side of tzatziki and tastes great! The soup was amazing, you could tell it was homemade as the chicken had bones. It was beyond fresh. The saganaki came next, it was disappointing that the server couldn't get the flame going but all is good anyways. Then came the Greek salad that come with both dinners, as you can see the dressing was abundant and it was flavourful. Onto the Chicken souvlaki dinner and pork gyros dinner. You could tell this was made authentically Greek as they were delectable. The quality and taste was through the roof. This is a must try for any Greek food lovers and I HIGHLY recommend. I will be back even if it is a 30 minute drive. It's worth the drive and the time.

I've always known this Greek restaurant was in the plaza but never dined in until now - wow I have been missing out! Upon arrival, the space is quite dated but I still had high hopes for the food which did not disappoint. Servers were all older gentlemen that seemed intimidating but were very friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was so delicious: Kalamarakia Fried 5/5 - Seasoned and lightly fried calamari served with Tzatziki sauce. It wasn't too crispy but had the perfect chew/ bite to it. Great for sharing. Cold Pekelia 5/5 - This was served with 4 different dips and 2 light bites including Tzatziki, taramosalata, octopus, melitzanosalata, olives and hummus. Absolutely delicious and a range of different flavours to try. Served with pita on the side. Chicken Souvlaki Dinner 5/5 - Tender chunks of chicken breast, marinated and broiled to perfection. All their dinners come with a Greek salad and garlic bread. Portions are plenty per person. Chicken was tender, juicy and bursting with flavours. Gyro Dinner 5/5 - Blend of lamb and beef, lightly spiced and broiled. Served with rice, roast potatoes, veggies and Tzatziki. So delicious I wanted to lick the plate clean. Overall all the food was so good and flavourful. Drinks were okay, I got a caesar that could have used a bit more "ump" to it. I can't wait to come back again as I loved dining here!

During one of the few times I've dined in, I decided that this place definitely deserved a review if it causes more people to give them their business by dining here! The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and personable. I never feel like I'm bothering them when I ask them questions about the menu, or what might be in a dish. Additionally, they're very prompt with refilling water for you if your table orders glasses of water as well, indicating that they're extremely diligent. [Taramosalata] $7.00 - red fish roe blended with garlic, lemon juice, and extra virgin olive oil! Comes with grilled pita ~ This is extremely savory but in the best ways. I love getting this as a spread for a sandwich when I have leftovers. Do take note though, that this is a dish that has an extremely fishy flavor so be warned! I highly recommend you get it to share with others in the event that it's not your cup of tea, but for me, I'll happily devour this any day of the week. [Chicken Souvlaki on a Bun] $8.50 - chicken souvlaki pieces on a bun! Comes with tomatoes, and red onions so if you don't like either of those, ensure you ask them to omit it. It also comes with tzaziki on the bun as well. I love how flavorful the souvlaki is but sometimes, if I have leftover taramosalata, I will slather some of it onto the bun for an extra punch of flavor! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU LIKE GREEK FOOD :D

The rice was actually a lot better than I expected. I know it's just a side, but rice at times from other Greek places isn't that great, and this was much better. My wife had the mix grill plate, and I helped. She absolutely loved the lamb. It was largely over the quality and the prep was fairly standard, but there's nothing wrong with that. The other parts didn't jump out, but were still perfectly good. The service was very attentive.

The potato layer feels fluffy and sandwiches thinly sliced eggplant, so the aubergine is rather pronounced. The ground beef mixture wasn't overly spiced and even the bechamel sauce was a thin layer, so it toasts the top but doesn't saturate the slice. Ultimately, it's not heavy so you could get through a full portion. A flaming saganaki ($19.95), the pan fried kefalotiri cheese, is a staple in Canadian Greek restaurants. It seems touristy to order but there's something endearing about setting a piece of cheese on fire and yelling "opa"! For me, the dish is more for the atmosphere than taste. Pantheon pan fries the cheese well, so it develops a crust even prior to flambeeing and serves it as a thick gooey slice. If only the accompanying bread wasn't so dry and mealy, a good saganaki calls for a better complement. Almost all their mains arrive with a sizeable Greek side salad that's smartly served first containing ample amounts of crumbled feta and some tomato, cucumbers, and onion over romaine. Their dressing is different, tamer and while still acidic there's a sweetness to it. Not sure, but perhaps they use a red wine vinegar and then blend the ingredients together so it's better combined? With the fishkebob souvlaki ($36.95) I was expecting fish, but it's really a seafood kebob containing shrimp, calamari and mushroom. It's cooked well with a faint grilled aroma, very tender, and lightly salted. Sadly, my steamed vegetables were merely carrots and didn't have the delicious garlicky green beans included on my friends' plates. Luckily, there was plenty with the moussaka so I could augment mine. At least there was an ample portion of roasted lemon potatoes that were soft and fluffy with a refreshing pronounced citrus finish. Pantheon doesn't skimp on the lamb chops that arrive with the entrée. And if you can't decide on what protein you'd like, their menu also offers some as add-ons. The lamb chop by the piece ($11.95) was bit gamier than I'd like but was cooked to a perfect medium doneness. A complimentary honey cake arrives for the table and is almost like having baklava in cake form. Just watch out, as the moist crumbly cake is difficult to pick up with a fork. Don't waste a bit of this delicious dessert, just use your fingers.

Moved out of Toronto years ago so stopped going. Last night was in Richmond hill and saw this location and went in. Well the service was ok friendly but not attentive. Anytime we needed something we had to wave someone down. Pricing for a small pork plate was $26. A little high. Now they stopped serving bread decades ago at the original location and that is still in place. The salad was generous HOWEVER the feta was somehow processed into uniform sized tiny ball type portions. Very weird and why. Feta is a crumbled cheese. I chose fresh vegetables and roast potatoes with the pork. Small serving of green beans and orange peppers. Good serving of roast potatoes, however they were undercooked. The star of the show, the pork, was cooked perfectly. Portion was small. And yes I order the small one. But based on the price I was expecting more. Only about 8 people at 6 pm. All of us were occupying tables around the large gas fireplace as the restaurant was cold. I would have given a two but as the pork was perfectly cooked I gave it a three. Not the Astoria I remembered from my past. Ps the tzatziki was still good.

A couple Saturdays ago, I was running a few errands. Once I was done, I felt like visiting a diner for lunch. I did a search and found Poached Dreams Diner in Aurora. I didn't mind driving up from Markham to check it out. It was straightforward getting here. I parked in the parking lot and walked in from what looked like the back of the diner. There's also a front door with a patio that faces Wellington Street East. I was immediately greeted by a young, enthusiast woman. I let her know that I needed a table for one. She got me to a comfortable booth by the window. The catch is that you have to watch your step to get to your seat. It's a treat when I have breakfast out. I thought that I'd be getting french toast. Well, all that changed when I saw a heading for comfort foods on the menu. Nothing makes me happier than seeing open-faced sandwiches on a menu. It was probably during my days living in Winnipeg that I fell in love with such sandwiches and at least a side. New goal: come here and have every open-faced sandwich on the menu. I got cold water to start. It was refreshing and much needed after running errands. I ordered these items for my meal: - Diet Coke (2) - Hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and veggies My Diet Coke came with a glass with ice. I loved it. I wish the can was larger! I needed a second can for dessert. I loved my hot turkey sandwich. There was a generous amount of sliced turkey smothered in sauce over a slice of white bread. I got to choose my starch. I went with mashed potatoes. There was enough gravy over the turkey that I dunked my spoonfuls of mashed potatoes into it. I loved the steamed veggies. They were perfectly cooked. They also went into the gravy. The meal was delicious. I'd order it again. I felt like dessert. I asked if there was any. Baklava with pistachios. I said yes. I thought that it would be a square or rectangle. Nope. I got a roll. Cool! It was perfect. It had the right amount of honey. It was crispy and yummy. So good! I paid my bill at the table. I tipped and then tapped my credit card. I elected to have the receipt texted to my phone, which also signed me up for its points program. Yay! I learned that this diner has been open since June 2025. I'm always late to any party because I seem to live under a rock or in a cave. I'm glad that I visited this eatery. Great food. Great service. Great! I used the washroom before I left. The women's washroom was clean and had a full-length mirror. This eatery is huge. It looks like there's a cafe for those grabbing coffee and maybe a snack before leaving. I look forward to returning for more good eats and drinks. (148)
