Came here in the morning and there was absolutely nobody else aside from me. I ordered 2 early bird specials. 1 early bird special was 2 sausages, 2 bacons, 2 eggs and white toast for 7.99. The breakfast special is 1 sausage, 1 bacon, 2 eggs and white toast for 6.99. She suggests a different dish on the menu, but modified, but I insist on 2 early bird specials. I ordered twice the early bird specials here, so it should be twice the portion, right? Wrong. The server/maybe owner modifies my order to be 2 bacon, 2 sausage and 4 eggs, with a single serving of potatoes. Basically, I just ordered the early bird special, but paid an extra 7.99 for 2 eggs. If there's a taboo that was broken here, it's the fact that she straight up modified the order to mark me up almost 2x. Do not recommend.

The 3 potatoes ball are good, warm and creamy. 2. Dutch style Caesar salad - this salad tastes different than the Caesar salad I normally had. They replace the croutons with something that also looks like croutons but tastes about like couscous (I could be wrong). I liked it. The "bacon", it's replaced with some other kind of fried pork belly. It's salt with some nice pork fat, it's guilty food for me but I loved it and goes well with the salad. 3. Mushroom salad - this salad has lots of different little ingredients and makes this salad great. The mustard vinegrette goes well with this salad. I enjoyed the food very much and would visit again but the total cost is about $63 for 3 items and not cheap in my opinion. I should of ask for the itemized receipt because I don't know how much each dish cost. It would be nice for them to provide the itemized receipt without me asking. For the chef's morning breakfast, I got my eggs over-easy. I chose sausage links and whole wheat toast. It came with home fries. I got peanut butter, jelly, and jam in preparation for my meal. It didn't take long for my food to arrive. The weird thing was that this table did not have any ketchup, but all tables around me had a bottle. I had to wait a bit for Parmida to return, so I could ask for ketchup. She apologized. She told me that she normally doesn't work this side of the diner. She immediately went to fetch a bottle of French's ketchup. Yep, this diner supports Canadian. I loved my over-easy eggs. I got three perfectly runny eggs. I smeared raspberry jam on my toast and sopped up the yolky goodness with it. I got three sausage links. They were yummy. I liked having them with ketchup. The home fries were the perfect portion. They were crispy and delicious, especially with ketchup. Prices are decent here for the portions that you get. My meal was $20 after taxes. You have the option of paying with a QR code on the bill or using the payment machine. I went with the latter and tipped with my credit card. I used the washroom before I left. It's on the right side of the eatery when you walk in. It was clean. No issues. I saw the dessert display before I left. This section was closed for dining.
