Brought a friend from out of town here on a very, very cold January night. Loved the pizza oven! Super awesome! We chose the carnivore and cheese pizzas to share, with a caprese salad. The whole meal was enjoyable. Loved the crust and all the toppings, the cheese pizza was the right amount of cheesiness the carnivore pizza was super tasty! Loved every bite. The service was very friendly--it's sort of cafeteria style because you order your food and then seat yourself. They brought our food over to us very quickly--that pizza oven is super fast! And brought us some cutlery as well. Very personable and efficient staff, nothing but impressed with them. Nice casual place to hang out with friends and enjoy some darn good pizza. read more

I love the dough and how its thinned and crisped up. delicate, still got chew, they seriously make a delicious thin crust pizza. The only note I would make is about the cheese and toppings they use, I think they can source better mozzarella and the tomato sauce was a little over acidic. but all in all, its a great spot. love it. read more

Clean, classy-looking pizza spot. Thin-crust pizza is large enough to fill you up but not too big, and a fair price. You can see them put the toppings on and watch the pizza cook in the oven. It's all pretty cool. Pizza is very tasty. 2 beers and 2 wines on tap. This would be a good spot to bring a date I think due to it being quite nice but not breaking the bank, and the food tasting good. May update my rating to 5 stars once I go a few more times and am sold on them being great - great experiences so far. read more

I've been to Fiazza twice and I haven't been disappointed yet. That's a good sign. The first time was for a Yelp event more than a year ago now (always glad to find new pizza digs courtesy of the Yelp Pizza Committee!). I remember that particular experience fondly. I opted to create my own pizza, because if you read my previous pizza reviews, I'm a pretty picky pizza eater (say that five times quick). Pesto, chicken, and some greens topped with truffle oil was my pizza that night. It was delicious. Wood-fired, with a decent crust, and done in minutes. Dip was a winner too. I've definitely thought about it more than once over the span of time between my first and second visits... Now we're not really at the Market too often, so unfortunately I hadn't been back to Fiazza for a while. Finding myself in the area about a week ago though, I had to drag the bf there so that he could give it a try. He's the better pizza eater half, so it only made sense that I held my final judgment until he's had his piece (or two, or five). This time we went with the premade specialty pizza "Picante Calabrese". Not a fan of banana peppers and too spicy food, but this pie wasn't too bad. We both really enjoyed that distinct pop in the mouth when you're eating pleasantly spicy food. With the dip, it was perfect. So good was it, in fact, that the bf decided one individual pizza for both of us just didn't cut it. So back in the line I went, and for fun, I tried to recreate that pizza from a year ago. I failed (I added arugula instead of broccoli and forgot the truffle oil) but... it was still good, I promise. Some slices were supposed to be for lunch the next day, but it didn't last the night. Fiazza's not my number one pizza parlour in town, but I like it a lot for the flexibility of choice and service. They make their pizzas fresh, fast, and delicious. If I lived closer, this would be my pizza takeout place of choice. But I would still probably eat in because they play good music and have a nice, ample and casual/relaxing space. Murray Street is already a great place for dining (Chez Lucien, Murray St Kitchen, Benny's Bistro, BITE, Navarra, Khao Thai, to name a few) and I think Fiazza, in its own way, definitely lives up to that list. read more

The wood fired pizza is great. I had the meat one and the sausage was especially tasty. There is a lot of seating and the patio is quite nice. Staff was super friendly. The pizza also comes out really fast, not much of a wait for it to be ready at all. If you're looking for a pizza that won't make you feel like you're with child this is it. read more

Quality ingredients | variety | excellence in customer care. Feeling lazy but still wanting to eat good food, we looked for a new place that would deliver. I eat gluten free as much as possible so good pizza is hard to come by and to get it delivered is next to impossible. We called to place our order and were directed to the website to do it online. Although the ordering procedure was a bit of a pain, we were very pleased with our meal. We ordered a large Caesar salad with chicken to share and our own pizzas. We had the Capri pesto - gluten free, and the Margharita. I look forward to ordering from here again. read more

Gluten-free pizzas what up! Every time I come here with my girlfriend, we split three pizzas because life is short and these are the most delicious GF pizzas we've encountered. Get their house options or make your own. It doesn't matter. You'll be happy either way. read more

Glad I was able to get a gluten-free pizza crust with vegan cheese while my guys got their meat lovers (carnivore) on regular crust.

Service is super quick. The pizza is ready by the time you finish paying. They gave us the wrong pizza (different toppings for another customer). We didn't complain or bring it up, but the server noticed the mistake and replaced it anyway. The pizza itself was good, they were generous with the prosciutto. The dough was a bit too thin in the middle so the sauce made it soggy and fall apart. Other than that, it was great! read more

Pizza was a soggy mess. Just terrible and zero customer support . After delivery I called and they told me they couldn't do anything. Definitely would not order anything again. read more

Excellent pizza. The crust is crispy and light, nice and thin. I had the feature pizza, "Snake Oil." Ham, green onion, sriracha, honey. I added fresh basil as well. Really tasty. Pizzas are definitely intended for one person, though on the bigger side and lighter eaters will probably only want 75% of their pizza. Good value, too, as the pizzas are all around $10-12. The house white or red is a nice addition for $5-something a glass. Service was friendly and competent, both employees were polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place for a casual lunch. read more

First time in Ottawa, first dinner out, STARVING!!! To add insult to injury, I'm vegan - yup, I'm "that guy." Honestly, I just want to be a certain size without doing any exercise, so I'm vegan. Eat all the meat you want, I just don't. Anyway, Fiazza came up on a Yelp search for pizza near my hotel. When in doubt, pizza always works as a vegan option; leave out the cheese. Not here! They carry Daiya Cheese. The crust is perfectly balanced between being crusty and doughy, and the heat from the oven roasts the vegetables to perfection. The Daiya cheese melts really well, so this made for a FANTASTIC meal. Quick, DELICIOUS, economical, lots of options, cool staff, very clean store. I sent back twice in under a week. read more

Tasty pizza! The pizza dough was perfect, you can get creative too with the ingredients and it's price point is very good. Staff was friendly and they had Stella Luna for gelato as dessert! Only negative point. Chicken was very dry, I would wait longer for it to be cooked on the spot. I'm big on fresh ingredients though. read more

Fiazza Fresh Fired - Pizza Near Me - Ottawa, Ontario

If you like thin crust pizza that is a bit crispy on the edges and chewy in the center, then this Fiazza has what you are looking for. Top of the charts for me is always and forever Margherita! With black olives yummy yum yum. The set-up is cafeteria style: order at the counter, grab your sides, drinks and dessert, pay at the cash, grab a seat and wait for your pizza to be delivered piping hot at your table. There is a lovely terrace although the occasional whiff of a nearby garbage brought in by the breeze can disrupt the experience, how ever faint the odour may be... That being a detail not in the restaurant's control, I will not let it damper my enthuisasm for the pizza offerings at Fiazza Fresh Fired! There is one hot pie waiting for you :) read more

Excellent pizza, even when delivered. Delivery was quick and easy. They did mess up slightly by forgetting one of the toppings on 2 of 4 pizzas (online order), but they were very apologetic and made up for their error. read more

My new favourite pizza joint in town! Fresh thin crust pizzas done perfectly and fast. Best pizza in town and rivals the best I ever had in Italy! Casual and friendly atmosphere. Love that they are supporting local food and local brew. Patio looks great but a bit too cold in the middle of October to be hanging out there. Plenty of seating inside with a great vibe. read more

Great pizza, thin crust, fresh ingredients! I would totally recommend this place. The great thing at the Fiazza is that you can customize your pizza exactly the way you like it, The only 'con' is that when you pick the goat cheese ingredient they could put a little bit more quantity, but other than that, that's a great place to eat! read more

Great pizza! I had the Carnivore pizza. Very tasty, light, and the local sausage is delicious. Amazing lunch for only around $10. Been here a few times. Never had a bad experience. Staff are super nice too. read more

Good quality, quick food in a good atmosphere. I enjoyed the pizza I had here both times. The ingredients were fresh, and the size of a pie for myself was just about right, without going over. Since I was snacking alone, the roasted garlic cloves was a choice I did not regret. This is a good place to go with a friend, a date, or even on your own post work. read more

A nice pizza place in Ottawa. I had the magic mushroom pizza and it was really good with the truffle oil. They make the pizza in front of you. I wish they would have included a side so that you are not just eating pizza. Granted I can certainly purchase a side, but I think it would have been a nice combo to include a salad or something along those lines. read more

Came here for a late lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. There were only two others in the restaurant and no waiting at the order counter. Staff was very friendly and quick. Pizza was quick to come out, less than 7 mins after I sat down. Pizza was cooked just right, BBQ chicken with veggies. Menu was very broad and you have the ability to order your own pizza any way you like it. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. read more

Great atmosphere. Very quick and friendly service. Lots of variety in the pizza. The meat lover style pizza I tried was pretty tasty, but it could have used a little bit more sauce for my liking. They were out of white sangria so we tried the red. It was very watered down unfortunately. I will definitely come back to try the other pizzas though. read more

The wood fired pizza was so good and the base was just so thin and "strong". Very easy to eat by fingers. The best is that you can create your own pizza! yep! Worth the visit. We would return definitely. read more

If you love Sbarro shopping mall pizza, you'll like this. But if you want a proper pizza made with quality ingredients - not cheap wholesale ingredients - go elsewhere. Or, save the money and get a frozen pizza from Loblaws. $50 for 3 very disappointing, poorly made items, this is a classic example of a website overselling poor quality products. read more

After a busy day of sightseeing in Ottawa, our family just wanted take out to eat in our Airbnb condo in the Byward Market area. This pizza was beyond our expectations. My 15 year old daughter says it's the best pizza she's ever had. Thin crust, but a nice thicker and chewy edge, tangy sauce and really fresh toppings like locally made sausage. It only comes in 10 inch size personal pizzas but that's not a big deal to me. If you like Neopolitan style wood fired pizza, this is your place. read more

A different concept for a pizza restaurant that doesn't quite succeed. Customers enter the restaurant, then, while standing in line, place orders for either specialty pizzas or select from a long list of sauces, cheese, & ingredients in order to produce one they desire. All pizzas are personal-size. My wife and I each ordered a different type of pizza and watched as they were assembled. The pies were then passed to another person who placed them in the oven. Still another person entered the order in the computer and asked for a name which served to identify the order. Moving down the line a little further, another asked for the drink order and received payment. The person taking payment was overwhelmed. Not only did she have to take payment, she got the drinks, handled requests from people walking up for various things, and dealt with Uber personnel picking up delivery orders. After paying, we were told to find a table and our pizzas would be delivered. Although both pizzas were ordered and assembled, one after the other, only one pizza was brought to the table (After removal from the oven, it sat on the counter for awhile and was not hot). I decided to begin sharing my wife's pizza while waiting for mine, however, we were finished with it and our wine, when the second pizza was delivered, about 15-minutes later. The delivery-to-table system is archaic - the waiter walks around the room calling out the name associated with the order. Not happy with what had transpired, I refused the second pizza and asked for a refund. Overall, we were not pleased with the dining experience and will not return. read more

I ordered pizza from here using Uber Eats, so I've never actually been to the restaurant. There is a good selection of pizzas that would suit everyone's tastes. Each pizza is about 8", so it's individual-sized servings. Mine had prosciutto and goat's cheese I believe, and it was very tasty. I also tried a bit of the sausage one which was also good. My only problem was I found the crust to be overcooked: it was so hard that it was inedible, but maybe that's because it took time for my pizza to be delivered. Overall, order here if you're looking for flavourful pizzas that aren't overly greasy at a fair price. read more

This place was really good. I had an amazing pizza. It's like subway, but you actually get delicious food instead of yoga mats. They also complemented my hair which made my day! read more

Went here because of the reviews but our pizzas had no flavor other than a burned taste from the oven. I normally like this type of place but this one didn't cut it. read more

My family and I had lunch here today. The pizza is made to order in front if you and the toppings are generous. It is then oven fired. I had the Carnivore-it was terrific. My son and husband had the Prosciutto Bella and added anchovies and they loved it. Our daughter who is a very picky eater and built her own pizza-alfredo sauce, herbed chicken and bacon and she ate the entire pizza to our complete surprise. The kids had a pop and my husband and I had a beer and lunch cost $77. Yes a little pricey but we were full and truly enjoyed it. If you are looking for a fancy sit down this is not the place. You order at the counter and take to your table. Not fancy but tasty! Would definitely go back when we are in Ottawa. read more

Pizza in review: Small Hawaiian Take out Price: 2.25 On Phone Service: 4 In store service: 4* Look: 4 Flavour: 4 Crust: 3.75 Toppings quantity: 4 Toppings quality: 5 Sauce: 3 cheese: 2.5 Garlic Dip: 3.5 AVERAGE: 3.64 How it all came together: 4 TOTAL: 3.82 Good pizza but very expensive at $19.25 for a small thin crust. The service was good, polite and happy employees both on the phone and in store. *The store has a very different set up and can be described as much the same as subway. You pick the crust then the sauce and toppings and finally they put it in the oven all while you are walking along the counter. If you call ahead don't wait in line, go to the cash (even though you feel like you are butting everyone). Very appealing pizza, exactly how you would like a thin crust to look. The crust was well cooked not floppy, greasy, or charred exactly what should be expected from stone fire ovens. The quantity of toppings is excellent well dispersed and plentiful (except the cheese is almost nonexistent). Toppings are very good quality large oven cooked ham slices, and amazing bacon. Sauce characteristic is hard to describe because there is very little, but the toppings cover for that very well. The garlic dip is a good in house flavour but not a go out of your way dip. read more
