Fresh and flavourful handmade pizza's very close to Byward market. Thanks to fellow Yelpers for the reviews. I loved this place not only for the pizzas but also for patio :) Which you rarely find in Toronto. I love my pizza thin and crisp, with fresh veggies and Fiazza's pizza was just like one! The place is cute with rustic interiors and the prices are good. The sides, house wine & beer are good to choose from. I might visit the place again if I visit Ottawa next!
Grabbed a margherita pizza and a side salad. We really enjoyed being able to sit outside on the patio with our dog. The service was great. Food was alright -- I think we were hoping the pizza would be better. Meaning, more of the sauce and toppings at the top of the pizza. Alot of it was in the middle, making it pretty soggy and the top was all crust. Best way to eat it was probably folding it so that you get enough sauce at the top lol Overall was okay - I'd like to try the prosciutto next time to see if it's better.
It is an understatement to say that this place was a complete disappointment. For a pizzeria, the options are very limited (although I do appreciate that they serve vegetarian, halal and build-your-own pizza options). My partner and I had a combo - greek goddess and bbq chicken pizzas, 10 fiery chicken wings and 2 drinks. The pizza tasted mediocre and was dry. Chicken wings were ok (taste better with sauce which by the way comes for an extra charge). It was also upsetting to realize that we were overcharged (the combo was 34.5$, or 41$ after taxes and tips but they charged us 47$). Do yourself a favour and go dine in at another place or if you are willing to take a shot then don't forget to check the bill before paying.
Was looking for a local pizza place and found this gem! It feels like a mix between fast food and sit down with their cafeteria style place. The food was amazing and they were very accommodating for any changes in toppings. I would definitely recommend Fiazza to family and friends to give it a try! The crust is very thinly and crunchy, and the toppings taste fresh and of great quality.
A friendly, pleasant setting for a fresh and tasty oven baked pizza. The pizzas are all individual sizes and comes in a choice of store preset combinations or build your own at a decent price (around the $9-12 range). I have had the owner's (Luigi) pizzas at his previous restaurant and loved them and was not disappointed. There are soups and salads on the menu. The soup comes from Les Fougères, a great restaurant in Chelsea, Québec. Two Kichessipi beers and wines are on tap. Harvey and Vern's soft drinks are sold here too. The setting is casual. You walk up to the counter, order and pay. When it is ready, they bring the food to the table. Definitely a chill place with great quality food and drinks at a decent price to check out or to hang out if you are in the market.
Wow. I'm really going against the grain here but I was really unimpressed with Fiazza. Why? A good pizza is a combination of three elements: 1) crust/dough, 2) sauce, 3) toppings. Fiazza, unfortunately, fails on the crust/dough front for two reasons: 1) their dough simply has no taste/flavour, and 2) the texture/crust is off as it a little to crisp underneath and soggy on the top. This may be due to cooking it too fast but you can get custom pizza's from Farm Boy now that are cooked equally fast and have a better crust/dough than Fiazza. Also, having had two pizza's with their 'red' sauce (a Margherita and a Sicilian) I wasn't overly impressed with the red sauce either. I'll give them that some of their pizza's may have good and flavourful toppings but 1/3 of a good pizza still isn't a good pizza in my book. (Side note: while the Sicilian was flavourful, the Margherita was not. The best in town I've had so far still is Tennessee Willems in Hintonburg). Some other details: - Prices? Prices are fair. The lowest I think is the Margherita at $7.95 and they go up to about $12. You can create your own pizza starting at $7.50. - Beer? Yes, they have beer. I think four types of tap. Full pint is $6.50-$7.00. - Patio? Yes. I think there are about 6-8 four person tables just on the side of the restaurant. - Parking? There are a few spots in a little square that Fiazza shares with surrounding restaurants, maybe 6 spots in total. But it is in the Market so likely you will park wherever you can find parking. - Service? This is essentially self-service as you put your order in like at a cafeteria and then wait for your pizza to be cooked. They say the cook times are 3 minutes and I don't think we had to wait more than 5 minutes for it to be cooked. They'll bring your pizza to you. - Other menu items: They have salads for starters and some brownies for dessert. The salad (caesar) is a bit pricey for the size that you get though. ---- So, all in all, as someone who doesn't eat a lot of bread, I try to make when I do really special so pizza is a real treat for me. Unfortunately, Fiazza doesn't give me what I want in that regard so I can't recommend it. I'd give it 2.5 stars if I could but as 2 stars seems a bit harsh (even if I didn't like it), I'll give it three. Based on the number of other good reviews though my opinion is definitely not in the majority.
Having a pizza wasn't my option to eat on thanksgiving day but my sister convinced me to go this place and this pizza got me. This place is my the best pizza restaurant in Ottawa! My favorite part is can choose whatever topping on you pizza of course some are extra charge but worth it!! Thin and crunch dough, fresh toppings, and good staff!!
Good wood fired pizzas with a nice view outside for people watching. The Great Canadian was meaty with a sweet finish (maple syrup drizzle), overall pretty good but definitely a novelty. The Carnivore had a delightful spiciness and was a more balanced pizza. We added fresh basil to the Carnivore which was a must have. Service was good, beer reasonably priced, and nice outside seating.
Pizza is one of my favourite things in the world. Not even on of my favourite foods, but favourite THINGS. Cheesy, saucy yummy goodness, that can make me forget all about taxes or heartbreak, or the season finale of Suits. It makes me feel all happy inside. Bad pizza is still good pizza to me (I will never turn down Dominos or Pizza Pizza), but good pizza? That's something I cherish. Like a good friend. Fiazza could be my new good friend. I love the atmosphere so much - a huge space with big tables and an ordering system like many in the States - order at the counter and bring to your table (I think they will also bring to your table if you have a group of people). The decor is casual, but fun and I love the fact that you watch your pizza be made and thrown into the woof fired oven! Each pizza only takes about 5 minutes and they are the perfect size. I went with the Magik Mushroom which was incredibly flavourful with truffle oil and garlic. The crust was perfect. Easily the best crust in Ottawa. Thin, but chewy. Fantastic! I loved it. We also sampled a garlic dip which was amazing. For dessert I tried the lemon ginger whoopsie pie, which I really enjoyed (I believe they are from Strawberry Blonde Bakery). I don't normally love lemon, but ginger is one of my faves and j really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly, particularly our cashier and Marty. I found the prices reasonable for the quality of food as well. They also carry my favourite drinks - flavoured San Pellegrino and Harvey and Vern's soda. If I could give them 4.5, I totally would. This place is close to perfection. A few more beer and wine options (they only had one red which wasn't very good), and I am all about giving them the fifth! I can't wait to head back!
This place was super awesome! I had the Magik Mushroom pizza and added roasted garlic to it. It was delicious! They're also gluten free! :) One complaint: they don't wear gloves when making your pizza and the guy was handling prosciutto before making my vegetarian pizza and that ticked me off... He had already started making the pizza so I felt bad and didn't ask him to wash his hands.
Service friendly and upbeat. Pizza was delicious. See photo. Daily specials are affordable and fun. The pint of craft beer was well priced too! Ambiance is a little cold (door open (mid-October). Note this is a "well done" pizza. The first one they brought (sent back) looked half cooked in comparison. read more

This pizza is to die for! Seriously I've never had such an amazing pizza in my life. If I was on death row and had to choose my last meal, I would be inclined to choose the meat supreme pizza that I had at Fiazza. You can make your own pizza but I choose one of their chooses on their menu. This is a gem of a place. I've never heard of it and I would probably pass this if I was walking by but I'm glad I came here. When I googled best pizza in the downtown market they came as the fifth choose. The pizzas really tasted fresh and cooked just right. You can really taste the difference between their lighter, thiner pizzas and your usual greasy one. My friend and I shared the Carnivore and the Magic Mushroom pizza and I am fairly sure we made good choices. The Mushroom pizza was rich and fragrant, without being too heavy. Even though there was absolutely no meat, we both agreed it was a lot more balanced than the Carnivore, which was a bit too salty. The prices are reasonable and the outside patio is nice. Would visit again. read more
Mehh looks more spectacular than it is for the price... Nice open aired seating indoors and nice organized assembly order style pizza place, but the pizza was a little salty and I felt for what I paid it wasn't much. Had the carbonara and it mainly consisted of wire sauce, cheese sprinkled red onions and sprinkle of bacon :/ read more

If you're craving fresh pizza and want it to be fast, this is the place to go! Their dough is a nice chewy texture and slightly charred from the oven. You can try their combinations or make your own. Restaurant is very large and you probably do not need a reservation. read more
Wood fired pizza and beer, that's pretty much all that needs to be said. But since I haven't reached the average review length I will continue. You simply cannot get as great a pizza at this price. Ordered the carnivore pizza with a beer and the total was under 20 bucks and the quality is there! Also very fast service and the option to build your own pizza. While there isn't table service that's fine by me...will definitely come back next time I am in Ottawa! read more
Personal sized pizzas made to order. I loved how everything here was really fresh and it didn't take long for the pizza to be made. The staff here are nice and helpful. The pizza is a little pricey. If you want to make your own it's like $8.xx for the dough and each topping is extra. They have premium toppings which cost more so it can add up fast. I was in the mood for something simple so I got the margherita and it was delicious. There is a lot of seating so great place to come with a group of friends. read more

I shared with my dad both the BBQ Chicken and the Spicy 4 cheese, and it was so good. It just can't get fresher the this, you see they assemble your pizza and you can customize it in any way you want or build your own flavor. After that it go straight to a wood oven by 180 seconds and then it's delivered to you. It's so good, I'm glad I went in. read more

Fiazza has really gone downhill in the past 3 years. They used to have great pizza, salad, and beers. The pizza was sloppy, the Caesar salad had oil for dressing and stale croutons, and they had no IPA beer. It's unfortunate that they have let it get so bad. They refunded my order but still a huge letdown. Time to search for good pizza in Ottawa. read more

Visiting from Montreal! Awesome Pizza Friendly staff - I love the fact that you can build your own pizza with non gluten bread. The pizza tasted really good and cooked perfectly! I highly recommend this resto. read more
3 stars is definitely too low for this place. I wish you can do like 3.5. It's pretty good, speed for a completely tailored pizza is really fast. Granted it wasn't busy when I went. Staff is friendly and well trained. Price is really good for what you get. The menu is pretty exotic I'm sure they are all good. I just asked for the most popular. Pizza quality is very good and ingredients tastes fresh. One complaint is that the crust is very hard/crewy. My jaw was a little bit stiff after the pizza. Will come back again. read more

Went here for the first time. Flawless meal. They offer vegan options (cheese and sauce) They have a menu you can order from or you can build your own pizza. The ordering process is very simple. It's like subway where they make your pizza right in front of you. Ingredients are local organic and fresh. I ordered a custom pizza with vegan cheese ($2 extra) and three toppings and a drink. Came out to just under $20. A little pricey but it tasted amazing. The restaurant was clean and our garbage was cleared for us at the end of our meal. The staff checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Will defiantly go back if I am downtown! read more
