I just ordered a small, Canadian pizza. This is the first time, I have ordered a pizza from them. On the recommendation from, people where I live. It is the worst, pizza I have ever eaten I had one slice. Turned the rest over, the bottom of the crust. Was extremely burned, how do they send food out that way. Look this isn't the cheapest pizza place in town, it doesn't have any flashy pizzas or fancy toppings and the sides are not anything to write home about. But I will say that this pizza is absolutely solid and a crowd pleaser, it's better than any chain store by miles, a good amount of cheese but not too much, the cheese itself tastes great, solid topping selection, great firm crust( it could be a little thicker but it's good), and a solid tomato sauce base. The pizza itself is always consistent and in my many orders from the store I haven't encountered any errors, order mix ups, or dips in quality that I've experienced from other stores. It's not cheap, even with pick up (the cheapest option is the drink and small pizza pick up deal for 8$ and the best value being the large pizza and 2 drinks for 20$ both pick up specials with three toppings) but you are paying for the quality and knowledge that you are supporting a great small business. For the pizza and the consistency in the service and the quality I give it 4 out of 5 stars. read more

I'm from out of town and I wanted to try pizza that was not a chain. We stumbled across this pizza shop on yelp and decided to try it because of its good reviews. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and the special was explained to us. The staff are super friendly as well! I'm not a fan of anything not thin crust, but their pizza crust was surprisingly very good! Overall, it was a very great experience and their pizza was also delicious! I have to admit, I have never visited Isabella's pizza location, but have gotten delivery several times now! It's not the cheapest pizza - but by god is it the most delicious! I always get the Addict (pepperoni, bacon, mushroom, pineapple and olives - but swap out the olives for hot peppers!) It is to die for! The toppings are bountiful and cheese is gooey, be prepared for everything to slide off the pizza as you eat, in the best way possible! My absolute favourite, I order it every time I'm in Ottawa. My wife and I are always on the lookout for the best pizza deal in town. Luckily, the city is well-populated by pizza places. Isabella's is located (naturally, if a non-creatively) on Isabella, across from the onramp to the east-bound 417. Now, I have been to many local, independent pizza joints in Ottawa, and Isabella is pretty high on my list. Their prices are good, for a start. Unlike the normal $20 for a large pizza, Isabella's start at around $14!!! Okay, that price does go up with all the fanciness you add, but at least you don't break the bank right away. The toppings ain't all that gourmet (ground beef is probably the most exotic thing on the menu), but it is a good, no-nonsense pizza pie. They do what they do and do it wella, at Isabella. They also sell sub sandwiches, wings nachos, and other items, but I can't vouch for them. read more

Had a tough time finding a place that would deliver to our hotel. I think this guy heard the desperation in my voice so when I asked he said "we sure do, what room?" Followed by a " oh sorry not to that specific room" lol. We got our pizza and glad we landed on this one. Good sized crust, prefect amount of sauce and loaded with toppings and cheese! We did not have high expectations for pizza in Canada. We passed this place on the way into town and read the reviews since it's the name of our dog:). Reviews looked good so we gave it a whirl! We went in pretty late on a Sunday night and they were happy to have us! The owner was very friendly and asked us where we were from and chatted with us for a while. I don't have anything bad to say about my experience with Isabella Pizza! I ordered over the phone and went into the store 15 minutes later to find my pizza waiting for me. I was surprised to find that my small pizza came with a can of pop, and was only $7 (not consistent with what their website indicated). Very good price in my opinion. Not the worst pizza, definitely not the best either. Had it delivered within an hour (middle of a Sunday afternoon). The crust is very 'heavy', which makes it feel like the crust is much thicker than it appears to be. Little to no flop on the slice and cheese not very 'stretchy'. Big pro though: amazing quantity of toppings- they don't skimp out on it. Would I try Isabella again? Perhaps. Was it worth the $30 after delivery/tip for a (smaller) medium? I wouldn't say so. The wings here are AWESOME. My review is based only on the wings because that is all we had. We asked for extra extra crispy and they (without asking) packed the sauce on the side so they wouldn't get soggy. The wings were on the smallish side but we're very crispy, tasted great, and the sauce, while not super hot, was hot enough to make them delicious. This place gets 4 stars for service. Ordered a pizza for delivery and was told it would take 40 minutes, which is reasonable and the driver was at my door in less than 30! In addition, the pizza was still so hot when I got it that it was almost too hot to handle. Now, for the pizza itself. I wouldn't say this is the greatest pizza I've ever tasted, but it definitely beats the pants off of most lower-end chains and the price is definitely right!
