Heard that this is best pizza in town. Will be going back rather than any of the chains. read more

Really enjoyed our takeout pizza. Used Uber eats to deliver. Chose the 2 for pizza special so we each had a small which was perfect. We tried the cheese sticks with fries and salad too. Loved that it had salad with it. Tasty pizza that wasnt just like a big box store. Would recommend. read more

Stumbled upon this place based on positive reviews. I believe this place is more known for their pizza, but this specific day i opted for the chicken soulvaki platter. They ran out of rice so i substituted with potatoes. The price was about $15. The plate came with a salad, potatoes, a chicken skewer and tzatziki sauce. The potatoes were actually amazing and cooked perfectly with good seasoning. The sauce was good. The chicken was decent, a bit dry. The spanakopita appetizer is delicious and i highly recommend. In terms of value this is definetly overpriced for the amount of food given, but the food itself is pretty good. Cons- Overpriced, poor value No lamb Pros- Food is quite authentic Would i return? Maybe to try the pizza read more

Cumberland Pizza - Chicken soulvaki platter, potatoes substituted for rice - Pizza Near Me - Ottawa, Ontario

I've eaten at Alirang many times and always wondered what this pizza place would be like. Reviews on Yelp were generally positive, so I decided to finally try it! I ordered a small meat lovers (I'm a carnivore :P) and some onion rings (I was having random cravings). It took about 15 minutes, and was brought out to my table by the owner. He also asked if I wanted some spices as toppings, and when I said yes, he brought out the whole plate which was nice (red chili peppers, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt/pepper, etc...however the red chili peppers were NOT SPICY at all unfortunately). The good thing was that the pizza was fresh, toppings were delicious, and the crust was not too hard. However, it did not stand out as an amazing pizza because it was too dry!!! If only the owner could add a lot more sauce then it would be 4.5 star pizza. Also, I saw comments in the reviews about the cheese and I agree; it's quite stringy and gluey which is a odd consistency...it doesn't break apart easily and doesn't taste greasy; it's kind of "dry"? Bottom line: pizza is fresh, owner is super friendly/smiley, but he NEEDS to add more sauce to make it better! read more

The pizza was amazing, like to die for.(I had a slice of cheese pizza) The owners were super friendly and nice to chat with, didn't take long for me to actually get my pizza and ambiance was great! I wish I could've stayed longer but I didn't wanna be late for class lol read more

Great pizza and super friendly owners. If you are not in a rush, it is worth staying and chatting while you eat for an add on experience.

Order delivery to the Ottawa Marriott. Average pizza. Again, not a lot of yelp activity out here so hard to make a good decision. Another guest recommended as they ordered it the previous night. Clearly not the same standards I have. If you are in Ottawa, and it's -10, and you need delivery, this is an option. read more

I did not think pizza could be this delicious. The pizza was full on toppings. They make their own dough, ingredients for the salad was fresh at 12am! A large pizza is good for 3 people. The owner and staff are friendly and they told us this is a family business for 41 years. For muslims: you can order Greek or Vegetarian or make your own toppings. read more

Cumberland Pizza has a fairly small menu compared to other similar restaurants. Their menu is mostly pizza and subs, plus a few appetizers, salads, and Italian dishes. I've had their meat lovers pizza, which comes with pepperoni, bacon, ham, Italian sausage, and ground beef, as well as their Cumberland Special pizza, which has pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, green peppers, and olives. The pizzas a bit expensive, and even though they have a variety of toppings, I always feel like there could be more. I also found the cheese to have a strange texture, almost like it's not fully melted. They tasted OK, but there are much better deals out there. read more

Cumberland pizza is by far my favourite pizza place. The quality of their Pizza is like none other. The dough is fresh as is the sauce. They customize your pizza exactly how you like it. I myself am a very picky eater when it comes to quality...and I don't like anything greasy..and Cumberlands is deffinetly not greasy ! the rest of their menu is also very good I really enjoy their club sandwich and their subs. the staff is exceptionally friendly... everyone there always greets you with a smile and asks how your day is going. Even their delivery guys are very polite and kind. also the delivery time is the quickest out of anywhere I have ordered. All that to say I love this place and everyone I have introduced to their food has absolutely loved it. strongly recommend it to everyone. read more

I love this place. Not only is the pizza really good, but the service is exceptional. The experience is worlds better than the Pizza Pizza just around the corner. The Pizza: It is made fresh to order, typically by the owner. The crust is thick, they don't stinge on cheese, and the give you a lot of sauce. Very good. The Staff: The place is staffed by a husband and wife duo along with members of their family. Their kindness can not be overemphasised. These people are incredibly warm. If you because a regular, they'll start referring to you as a family and speaking to you about your life and theirs. It is great. A personal note: I've been going to Cumberland Pizza for over 15 years. In that time, it has gone through 3 sets of owners, but all within an extended family. All of them have been wonderful. This place is a community institution and my favourite pizza joint in Ottawa. read more

I couldn't possibly say enough about this place... Whatever you like you love here its that good! I have been eating their food for years. It's so fresh and so delicious you will never be disappointed. I guarantee it! It is the one place that has never disappointed me! The ingredients are fresh homemade goodness... so fresh. And if you are like me, and like to support a great family business this is the place to go. You won't find a friendlier place in town. I personally recommend any of their Greek platters, their Greek pizza (so yummy!), and they're delicious Italian poutine! And NICE doesn't SAY ENOUGH ... when I first moved in down the street they gave me a bunch of paper plates and utensils so I had something to eat on at home while I unpacked and settled in. You can't get neighbours friendlier than that! You don't have to live in the neighbourhood to partake in the goodness... they have tables to eat in and a very lovely patio in the summer. Whenever my parents visit that's where they ask to go! Whatever you like... Your love here! read more

First time ordering from Cumberland Pizza so did not know what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised when the order arrived on time and the food was hot. I ordered a Cumberland pizza (small) which is a perfect pizza for one. The toppings were generous and the cheese good and melty. The cheese bread was covered with cheese, as it should be, and the bread was toasted nicely. The prices are reasonable and I am glad I ordered from here. Will order from here again. read more

I ended up trying this place from a recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. I went vegetarian and the half was the Cumberland special...packed with fresh produce and worth the 30 minute wait. I would order from there again but will try the thin crust next time. Also, it's great to support a local, family run business :) read more

Cumberland Pizza has the best tasting crust in town! It is slightly more pricy, but they put lots on your pizza and it tastes great! read more

Cumberland Pizza is really tasty and great value. The crust is light but had substance, and the toppings are all very fresh. I was able to get two large 1 topping pizzas for $23 bucks. Definitely will be back! Its a bit of a departure from the "Ottawa Style" in that its not buried under cheese (for better or for worse). If you want cheese, go to Louis/Papa Joes/Collonade read more

This is a great place! We ordered take-out after a long day of travelling from Toronto. The pizzas were excellent and the Greek salad was fresh and tasty. Even more, the family that runs the business is very friendly and eager to make sure that customers are happy. I will definitely return to Cumberland Pizza on my next trip to Ottawa. read more

Wonderful food and great service from friendly staff. Best pizza in Ottawa in my opinion. The dough is soooooo good!! Also have had the salads which were great too. read more

Love these guys' pizza! Not only do they have pizza, but a Mediterranean/Greek menu which is equally as delicious. Their pizza, however, is so unique. Unlike anything I've ever tasted before. They prepare their meat so well -- as if it's fresh and home made. In addition to the wonderful taste, the atmosphere Fadhi, Farida and his wonderful family have to offer is fantastic! It's always a pleasure to drop-in even if it's just to say hello. They have a wonderful memory. read more

One of my best friends son recommended this place and i feel like i should give a review of my own. Yes i might be older than the young guys and Pizza might not always be my best choice but you cannot go wrong with this I eat better here than i do when i go to the chateau Laurier which i go fairly often...HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who wants an experience of a lifetime. If you don't go at least once you haven't lived yet. Beautiful family business. read more

This is one of the freshest, healthiest as well as filling restaurants I've frequented for awhile! It offers a wide variety of diverse food groups including munchies!! Extremely fast delivery and sociable staff to say the least. Def a must try read more

I've lived in Ottawa for more then ten years. I just tried the pizza from this local family owned, pizzeria and greek restaurant. The pizza is the best in Ottawa!! All of the ingredients are fresh, and high quality. I love a pizza that the cheese doesn't slide off the pie. It stays together and it's not greasy like many delivery pizzas. My advice is to give it a try! read more

You literally pay for what you get...I've been going to pizza pizza and all those branch name for years (10 years approx.) And I've never in my whole life have had this much love for pizza. The Quality of their ingredients and the freshness of them will NEVER BE ABLE TO compare to any other Pizza place in Ottawa. I wish I knew this place a long time ago I feel like I've been stuffing my face with junk all my life until I came here...Pizza or not this place will make your mouth water with whatever food item on the menu you get...Plus I've only been there a few times now and i get treated like family. No one else will care about what they put in your food as much as these people do. Its overwhelming. I am soon to become a customer for life...I really hope this unbelievable pizza place stays open forever. Thank you Cumberland for making these few food orders an unbelievable experience:). read more
