Ferraro's is an elegant and tasty Italian restaurant. I have been coming here for many years since it's conveniently located on 79th street on the way to Miami Beach. The restaurant also has outdoor seating. It's very welcoming. They have a great wine list. The appetizer of tuna carpaccio with fresh shaved truffle is great!! I love it and order it every time. I've had great dishes here including lamb shank, Maine lobster pasta, and this lobster ravioli with fresh shaved truffle. The service is professional and attentive. Lastly, the tiramisu was light and tasty. They currently have Miami Spice for lunch and dinner. Check it out, it's a treat!

From the moment you walk in, the service at Murano by Ferraro is impeccable. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, but what truly deserves a standing ovation is the food and the service provided by our waitress. Each dish carried with it a sense of dedication and perfectly balanced flavors, brought out one by one--without any rush, yet without long waits. The timing was flawless. A special mention goes to Nathalie, our waitress, who made sure every detail was impeccable. Her attentiveness and professionalism elevated the entire experience. Although the restaurant is still quite new, there were about five tables that evening, and I am certain every single guest left just as happy as we did. I sincerely wish Murano by Ferraro all the success in the world. I'm attaching a few photos, and my personal recommendation: ask to sit with Nathalie if you can--she makes the experience even more memorable.

Can I give more than 5 stars? The service was outstanding! Thank you to our waiter from Naples, Italy. The food was also top-notch. I recommend the Proscuitto Crudo San Daniele and Fresh Focaccia for an appetizer. Then the La Greca salad. For the entree, Spaghetti Chitarra al Pomodoro was my favorite. For wine, my husband and I shared a bottle of the Italian Gewurtztremaine. Delicious! From the outside, Ferrarro's Kitchen doesn't look like much. It is located right next to a highway and across the street from a storage unit. But don't let this fool you. You don't want to miss out on the amazing food and service. You can make a reservation online, and if the weather is nice, I recommend sitting on the patio.

Unassuming Italian restaurant off 71st St near the causeway. If you aren't looking out for it, you'll miss it. Probably no more than 10 spots out front and if those are full, I'm not sure where you'd go park otherwise. Place is classy with both indoor and outdoor patio seating. We sat inside and were happy. Everything made from scratch so we were told to prepare for delays but food came out shortly after we finished our appetizers. Everything was excellent and would order again. Wild boar pasta is similar to a bolognese except the meat is not ground but it's extremely tender. This was my fav dish. Service is top notch. Waiter noticed a plate that was slightly dirty and he swapped it out without me needing to ask. Drinks were always filled and empty plates removed promptly. Was skeptical of the reviews here but they were spot on. I'll be returning for sure!

We dined at Ferraro's kitchen for my birthday dinner and loved our experience. It's a little small diner where everything is homemade. The owner greeted us upon arrival and shared that it was his wife's birthday, too! He made sure we were taken care of the entire time. We did have one little mishap - I ordered the short rib for dinner and they brought out lamb! The waiter suggested that I try it before sending it back and I did, not realizing what it was. It had amazing flavor, but I couldn't get past it being lamb and decided that I wanted my short rib. They rushed the order and had it out within minutes! My wife ordered the lasagna and said it was amazing! Don't pass up their tiramisu!

Amazing service, they have a good parking area. The restaurant inside is very clean and pretty. Their foods very savory. I also ordered the beef carpaccio and finished it in 2 seconds. Their tiramisu is the best i've ever had! Definitely check this place out if you want Italian cuisine!

It's so delicious. Every single dish I've had here is amazing. We started with the tuna carpaccio with black truffles. And we ordered lobster ravioli and bolognese this last trip. It never disappoints. I wish we had room for dessert.! They have tiramisu-- one of my favorites.

Christmas dinner at Ferraro's! Overall, the experience was good (3.5 stars), but I expected way more. The service was awesome and the atmosphere is great, as well. I wanted more from the food and in my opinion it was not worth the money, but I did like that most of the ingredients are organic. So if you're into that then there's a plus. For appetizers, we ordered the Polpo all'Adriatica. The octopus in the dish was cooked perfectly and the flavor was good. The Melanzana alla Parmigiana was another appetizer I was excited for, but was unimpressed by. I chose the Pear Pasta Dumplings for my entree. I was thinking there would be more flavors, but it was pretty much straight on. Salvatore was an awesome waiter for our family Christmas dinner.

Came here with a big group for a birthday and was pleasantly surprised. I'm a very picky eater so I was very intimidated by this place. Starting off the bread and olive oil was delicious it was so fresh I could possibly eat loaves of it if I could. As an appetizer we orders the charcuterie and the fried calamari and shrimp. It was delicious could not go wrong with that. After appetizers it took a very long time for the food to arrive possibly around 45-50 minutes. So if you are starving and no appetizers to hold you off this might be tough. When the food came I was so happy there was sooo much seafood which was great. The portion seemed small but I left with a full tummy. Very delicious.

We ended up making spinach empanadas, shrimp ceviche, and lomo saltado. Everything we made was delicious. The staff took care of all of the cleanup and the chef walked around filling our cups with more wine or champagne if we so desired. All in all we had an amazing night and would definitely return. He took the time to explain the pasta making process in detail and gave us useful tips as well as teaching us a bit of history and geography. This is the complete package you guys! You will definitely learn and you will have a delicious professionally prepared meal at the end. We stated with a basic pasta dough that we kneaded by hand. While the dough rested we enjoyed a delicious fresh salad of greens, carrots, cucumber, and tomatoes just drizzled with aromatic olive oil. Brought back memories of vacations in Italy where we made salad from the veggies growing from our garden. We continued in our pasta making journey by rolling out the dough and passing it through the pasta roller. Chef also demonstrated how to make different shapes of pasta and the history behind them. We the watched him prepare our pasta dinner! This was the most challenging part...mouths were surely watering! We were served pappardelle with mushroom ragout, and ravioles stuffed with truffled ricotta. Everything was fresh tasting and delicious. I loved all the simple ingredients and the light natural flavors. Dessert was chocolate mousse with strawberries and fresh whipped cream! Heaven!! We all left with our very own pasta dough ...and I'm seriously considering practicing what I learned! This was such an amazing experience and I'm looking forward to trying something like this again.

He has great charisma and is extremely talented. He took the time to explain the process, to make contact with each one of us at the class and to guide you as needed. Who knew that making pasta would be so much fun. We made Papardelle from scratch with a mushroom ragu and also ravioli stuffed with truffle oil flavoured ricotta-parmesan mix. (This was heaven in a spoon) Also created a small salad appetizer to let the pasta dough rest after the knitting process, with a simple yet delicious citrus vinaigrette. Ohhhh.... it is a BYOB kind of a deal that I didn't know about... So feel free to bring a nice bottle of wine to drink and share as others kindly did since I didn't bring any. I highly recommend Cozymeal to anyone wanting to learn. The "how to" process is incredible. Can't wait to see what other classes are available to sign in. Thumbs up for the Cozymeal team and thanks for this great opportunity. PS: the location was beautiful and nicely decorated.

I'm not much of a cook so I did exactly as I was told to the best of my ability. We chopped veggies, made/rolled dough, added and combined ingredients all in the right sequence. In the beginning, I was so afraid to make a mistake that at times I may have been too slow but eventually I got the hang of it. Thanks to Ana and Robin we were able to make dinner and dessert in a very efficient and timely manner. We first prepared dessert, the Tarte Tentacion, so that we could put in the oven while we prepared dinner. The crust was probably the hardest thing to make here. We had to sift together all of the dry ingredients and pulse it in the food processor. Then add butter and pulse it again until the butter flakes formed pea-size pieces. Then add ice water to just hold it together. We then took this out and smeared it across a board and formed a mound of dough. We rolled this dough until it was the size of the circular pan and this dough eventually baked as the bottom crust once we turned it over out of the pan. This crust tasted amazing. Can't believe we made that ourselves. After dessert started to bake, we prepared the Ropa Vieja and Calabaza con Mojo at the same time. We combined a lot of spices and chopped a lot of veggies in a timely manner. Ana advised on how and when to heat all of the ingredients and when to combine them properly with the shredded beef. The food came out really fresh and tasted great. Nothing was too oily or salty. It was just right. Our dinner was served with white wine, a nice pairing. My Cuban +1 noted that this was the best Calabaza he's ever had and I promised not to tell his abuela. IN THE KITCHEN with Norman Van Aken is a culinary school and is for enthusiasts of all levels.
