We had a wonderful experience at Taste Buds kitchen! I took my 2 year old for a class on a Sunday and she loved it. We were asked to move because large party came along but that wasn't a big deal. The kids made lasagna "cupcakes" which were very tasty. The instructions were very simple to follow but it was just a bit difficult to hear because of other parents talking and having side conversations. I also liked that there was a story time while the lasagna was baking. There was a group of about 10 kids who were there together and the parents were just so loud that it was difficult to hear the instructions while cooking and it was difficult for the kids to listen while they were read a story. I wish the staff would have said something for them to tone their voices down a notch.

We were looking for a fun date night activity when my cousin recommended the pasta making class. The tickets were for sale in pairs so you'd need a partner to participate. Upon arrival, the space looked very cute and clean. Each table had 4 people, which was fine. However we were extremely disappointed to discover that we would be working in groups of 4 instead of in pairs. I did not get the full experience of making the dough or the sauce because the tasks were divided amongst 4 people. The materials provided was to make ONE dough , amongst 4 people, in a pasta making class! The instructor was not the most friendly or entertaining. The other staff were also baking cupcakes to prep for the next morning's class. No one really came around to the table to check up on us while we preparing the pasta. We made ravioli (2 different filings), bolognese sauce, and fettuccine was provided. They boil your ravioli for you. Overall, the experience was not anything to rave about. I think the experience could be enhanced if we worked in pairs and more attentive staff.

Had a great experience cooking with these lovely ladies! We had a Friday night reservation for tapa classes. Overall it was a nice Friday night spent. Dishes were pretty basic. Dishes would had benefited with additional complexity. We made meatballs, empanadas and potatoes. Bring more than 1 bottle of wine. We were there 3 hours and only had one which we went through quickly while we were preparing the food. Would had been nice to have another one while we ate. They offer water, but would suggest more than 1 container for the full class that participates. Staff is attentive and we were not rushed. A different activity to enjoy with friends or a date night

I absolutely loved this class, from the begging to end. This was the first time I went to a TBK cooking class. This location in Miami West, was great in every single way, from their neat floors, shelves, cooking tools, silverware, aprons, and everything else. Once you make your reservation, they send you an email with the instructions and FAQ. I didn't want to, but you can BYOB and the other couples that went, took their wine and beer. They are a nut-free kitchen and they printed for us the recipes we made and gave them to us at the end of the class. They also offer kids classes as they were telling us. The one we took, was Thai cuisine and we learn to make three different things, pineapple chicken satay, veggie summer rolls, and pad thai (which was my favoooooorite). The spotless tables with aprons were prepared for us to cook. Each time we cooked something, one of the three ladies working non-stop, cleaned and disinfected our place so we could continue cooking. We were called to the main counter, where the woman teaching us told us step by step what to do. Then we went to our tables and started cooking. Most of the times we worked as a team and that was great, because I met new people, had fun with them as we were cooking, and enjoying their nice background music. Once we finish each plate, we ate and at the end of the night, they even gave us containers to take home leftovers. As you can read and see in my pictures, I was very happy, with the service, with the delicious food we made, and mostly for the impeccable organization of this fun activity. Thank you!! Luego ibamos a nuestras mesas y comenzabamos a cocinar.

Decided to book a private cooking class for my best lady friends as a Christmas gift. So so so glad I found this place. We had the best time. Beatriz led our class and we had a blast learning to make pasta from scratch. She made it easy to learn. We made fettuccini with tomato sauce, spinach ravioli, and butternut squash ravioli. We brought our own Prosecco and sipped while we cooked, which made everything more fun of course. The location is warm and cozy and Beatriz was super kind and hospitable. There were obvious measures taken to keep everything sanitized and maintain CDC guidelines, so we were able to safely enjoy. We can't wait to go back and recommend it to anyone who is trying to find a fun, approachable cooking class!

My daughter had an amazing 11th birthday thanks to Taste Buds Kitchen!!!! The kids learned how to make pasta from scratch and had a blast at the same time. It was a very unique and fun birthday idea. The hosts were very helpful and sweet people. Very patient with children. This place has a very modern homey feel to it. I would definitely recommend this place for a kids birthday. The owner works with u and recommends the best package for you to choose. Can't wait to go back and try cooking on a date night !!!

We are here for a soft opening and it has been so much fun. The kids made chocolate zucchini muffins. Each of the kids got to mix all of the ingredients mixed the dry and wet ingredients separate. It was so cute. They each had to guess all of the ingredients. Then they put the mini muffins all in a bowl, mixed it and put it in the pan. While the muffins were baking we played a fun game called "don't eat Pete." The muffins came out great and both my chicks actually ate Zucchini!!! I consider this a great success!!

Great place to host a party, event or just to attend one of their classes. We had a great time this past Monday thanks to Taste Buds Kitchen! Not only we learned how to make pasta from scratch but also celebrated Life and friendship while raising funds for metastatic breast cancer research. Loved the family atmosphere! The hosts are amazing people! They are a family and will go above and beyond to make your event extra special!!!! Can't wait to go back for other events!!

We did the cooking with beer class and had such a great time! The recipes were easy to follow along while also learning some new skills. Working in small groups made it fun and we all took turns doing different things. The food was good and I love that they send out the recipes after! I wish they did a Groupon or something because I'd love to do it more often!!

We had a great time preparing the different dishes that she had planned out for that night. We prepared beef and chorizo empanadas, mahi ceviche and a plantain stuffed with goat cheese. She teaches various other classes covering a wide range of dishes. I strongly encourage anyone who likes to cook or wants to experience something different to take one of these classes. Throughout the class Chef Patty dishes out little tidbits of cooking tips. My wife and I also really enjoyed sitting down and talking with Chef Patty and her assistant Chef Jimmy and the rest of the attendees (there were only 2 others in our class, which was pretty cool) while we ate what we had cooked. It was my fathers 80th birthday. My large family rented a home for a long weekend in February. I hired Stu to cook one "special" celebratory meal, and to stock the kitchen. He stocked the kitchen! That gets 4 stars on its own, but what happened after gets a negative 6 stars. This guy was terrible. First, he showed up two hours early to our initial in person meeting the day before the big dinner. Being vacation, I lost track of time. I remarked that I didn't realize time had flown by, and I couldn't believe it was noon already. His response "it's 10am. I work on my time, not yours". This should have let me known all I needed to know about this guy. The following day, he showed up several hours early. He arrived before 7am, when he was supposed to come at 10:30. He let himself in, and went to work in the kitchen. Having 16 people in one house can get messy. Luckily I planned and had two full time housekeepers. We, the guests, didn't leave dirty dishes on the table after dinner. We discarded the food, and rinsed the plates. We did leave the washing to the housekeepers to tend to in the AM. Unfortunately for our early (very early, and unannounced chef) there were plates in "his kitchen". He referred to it as his kitchen. It was only his second time there. And he wasn't a guest. He was a well compensated employee for the weekend. Here's when it gets great. That same morning I get a knock on the door. My bedroom door. The door I was asleep on the other side of. This was around 9:30am. It was the chef! I didn't know it was him until he walked in. My partner and I were completely asleep 25 seconds prior. When I asked Stu why he was in my room, and if everything was ok, he started berating me for everything from leaving the kitchen in the condition it was in to letting me know how inappropriate it is to have a housekeeper bring me coffee in the morning. Had he arrived on time, the kitchen would have been sparkling. I won't even address the delivery of coffee, because it's my money that pays for the supplying of coffee, and the making of the coffee. I will have my coffee how I wish. After our two "run ins" I decided I would rather figure out how to make a dinner for 15 people on my own than deal with this person again. I dismissed Stu. But, of course, not before he could manage to make several threats. I am sure I will hear from this guy. What I said above is 100% true without embellishment. I have at least 9 adult witnesses (several lawyers, Stu). In hindsight, it was a little bit of entertainment. He managed to be the biggest drama in a family full of large personalities. But, far too expensive for the quality of the entertainment. I recommend the circus. FYI: this guy never cooked for me or my family, though he demanded several hundred dollars for his "services". My credit card company and I couldn't pinpoint any service preformed. Don't do it to yourself. Find someone else.
