Seared ahi tuna appetizer. Very fresh and delicious

Stopped in for a quick bite. I got this and hubby's happy with prosciutto bruschetta app. Quick and polite service 15 minutes before closing!

Bresaola, a bad surprise: had to discard most of it.

I had wanted to try this place for quite some time, so finally I went there on a "Foodie-Day" in Miami last month. Well, disappointing at best. We went for a quick bite in the early afternoon, during the week, so the place wasn't busy at all. Still, we went in, sat at one of the small tables and...wait and wait and wait. They had maybe 3-4 tables with patrons outside, while inside it was empty. Several employees were walking by us, nobody even thought of approaching us for a menu, water or anything; we were pretty much ignored. After a while, over 10-15 minutes, I got up and walked to the counter and asked the guy what we were supposed to do to get someone to come to the table as we had been waiting for about 15 minutes and although we were noticed by the personnel, nobody came to us. The answer was "order here and we'll take the food to you". No apologies, nothing of that sort; mind you, it was anything but obvious that we were supposed to do that, because we saw waiters serving the table outside. That really got me frustrated so I told the guy what they were waiting to come and tell us to do so, but the level of interest he had in the whole matter was between low and inexistent. Anyway, we ordered the salmon carpaccio and the bresaola. Salmon was okay, the bresaola, for the first time in my life, was pretty much inedible. Beside a "plastic taste", I couldn't chew, it was full of nerves inside that I never even knew exist in bresaola. I was unable to finish the dish, so we called the check and left. Now, I don't know about the rest of the menu, but the service was probably the worst we had in years and we are pretty patient; being Italian we don't need to be served super quick, but that was ridiculous. And I have never seen bresaola like that, I don't know if it was old, or they got it from some low quality place, but it was like chewing a gum. Being that Miami is full of options, I don't think I am going to get back to this place.

Like many have said, within walking distance with an excellent happy hour, wine, and olive oil selection. Decor Simple decor inside and out. Inside there is a corner with Instagram worthy wall décor with tables and high top seats. Outside has a tent and small tables too. Menu They are known for their paninis. We tried the two pictured. Some have two options for a large/full size or small/half size. The cashier recommended the Leandro Panini. I wasn't too hungry and the small was perfect. It has grilled chicken, cheese, olive oil, and perhaps a light mustard like sauce. Very light yet flavorful. The salmon burger was larger in size and taste. Again the olive oil, sauces and salmon was cooked to perfection. We were surprised that there were no sides included. Price For around $8 to $12 per panini. It wasn't expensive, but with no drink or side left us wanting more. I am excited to go back and try their pastries and coffee. I highly recommend you try it too.

English Muffin with Oven Baked Egg, Ham & Cheese

Have been here a few times now and it's also consistent. Friendly staff. Comfortable seating area both in and outside. My most recent visit I ordered the baked English muffin breakfast sandwich with ham egg and cheese. Complimented that with an americano. The sandwich was great. Tasted fresh, clean and loved the baked egg component. It's a light meal but perfect for me. Simple ingredients go a long way. Would and will come back again.

It's a very small place in Downtown Miami with a great décor inside, and a lot of street side tables outside. We ordered white wine (which was good), I got the Carpaccio di Salmone and my husband tried the Carpaccio di Bresaola. The Carpaccio di Salmone was ok, but I can't say the same for the Carpaccio di Bresaola: the meat looked and tasted as if it were too old. The service was also very disappointing. Not knowing that here you have to order first and then sit wherever you want, we went straight to sit at a table inside. We waited for a long time trying and failing to get the attention of the staff, although they were constantly passing by us doing their chores. Finally my husband decided to go to the counter to call somebody, and that's when we found out about their process. The prices are decent.

After a few libations at the nearby Elite event, I needed something solid to munch and within walking distance. D'oro was golden, especially thay though they were closing at 10pm I was able to get a full meal. My cashier was also very pleasant. The space seems geared toward takeout, with a small seating area both inside and out (puppy friendly). They also have a large wine selection and deli cuts; perfect to take out for a picnic or dinner at home. However, for those of us who set off smoke alarms when we try to cook, they have a great selection of pre-made pastas. I started with their bruschetta prosciutto, loaded with perfectly salty prosciutto and creamy mozz. These actually had such a generous amount of meat that I had room for only half of my main. The fusilli bolognese I enjoyed had a perfect bounce just north of al dente with plenty of tomatoes, ground beef ragu as well as an add-on of extra marinara sauce. Besides great taste, my to-go container was densely packed with food I was able to split into last night and tonight's dinner. The temperature was just right, and I didn't have to reheat it. There was also a nice spread of gelatos, canolis and other desserts. I'll save my fifth star for when I try those.

Super cute place with great paninis and empanadas. Try their prosciutto, gorgonzola with figues panini or their beef empanada with a nice glass of Montepulciano. You can't go wrong. The desserts seem amazing but we have yet to try them. They also have a little retail wine section for you to either take home or drink in the restaurant. Although parking may seem like a challenge in downtown, you have ample options between street parking, garages and bayside parking. Great indoor decor and outdoor patio on quiet street. A recommendation for the owner: A little citronella wouldn't hurt to keep insects away :) But that's Miami. Nice little neighborhood café. Enjoy!

Stopped in here on Saturday night and had a delicious dinner. The prosciutto was fresh and delightful. My alfredo pasta it was also very flavorful with fresh ingredients. Topped off with a nice glass of cab made this a perfect visit :)

Great place for a quick breakfast. I love their paninis which you can have them make it as you wish. I always visit them whenever I'm in Miami.

I came here for the $5 wine during happy hour as I waited for a friend. I had the house Merlot, and it was good! I sat outside and really enjoyed it- until people came begging me for money (not D'Oro's fault). The host was very nice when I walked in, and if I would have been staying there I definitely would have gotten another glass and possibly tried some of the small plates they had.

The Massimo Panino was extremely tasty! Reminded me of breakfasts in Spain. Right now in Uber Eats the have a buy 1 get 1 so I got 2 of that same order for 1. Also I totally recommended the natural juice if you're into papaya, banana, and orange juice.

I've been visiting a lot recently, and even joined their wine club which offers two curated wines a month. Locally owned and operated, I feel really good supporting a place that the owners put so much effort into to offer such a gem of a spot for locals. I've tried a lot of wines here, and I'm always amazed at finding something new to me that I enjoy. If you haven't been, it's the perfect place for a date, a girls night, or a day for yourself. They also have good snacks and charcuterie for you to munch on while you drink vino. Don't know much about wine? No problem. Their team will point you in the right direction and they have something for everyone. This is an approachable wine bar- they want you to enjoy the wine as much as they do and I love that about Magie. This spot has a nice indoor space and a beautiful outdoor area. They also have a sister location in the Grove.

There is a parking lot right on the side of the building, but if that lot is full, there is also street parking, and parking across the street in a lot behind the Citadel. The service here was great! All of the staff were very nice and welcoming. The set up of the lounge is also very cozy. There is plenty of space for people to sit whether you're on a date or with a small group, but seating is first come first serve, so if you're coming with a group it's better to get there earlier in the evening so you have a space comfortable enough for the size of your group. There is also indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. There are many wines to choose from and they also have a decent menu with light bites. We opted for the Dino nuggets and caviar which were a hit, the fried olives and some meats and cheeses with some cornishons, fig jam and a sliced baguette. Overall this place has a great vibe to it and I heard they host events every so often. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice space to chill with some friends and enjoy a nice spot in Miami.

The first location in the River is better imo because the location is bigger, there is plenty more seating than the Grove location. Although, I still enjoyed my time at this location as well. Sooo how it works is that you go inside and pick a bottle of wine from the fridges. You can also order by the glass if you aren't a big drinker or if you want to try different wines. The bottles are moderately priced depending on your selection. We chose an orange wine and it was nice, very refreshing, you can really get that citrus essence with every sip. Another thing that they have is that you can pick different cheeses and meats and they will build you a charcuterie board. I love this because it is all based on your selection, nothing will go to waste. They also have food you can order. A lot of people love the nuggets with caviar. I think they are decent imo but I'm not like in love with them. Parking can be a bit annoying... If there isn't street parking, you can also park in the garage. The service was good, the staff was friendly. The only thing that was a hassle was getting a table. We had to wait a bit in order for a table to become available. Overall, this spot is a very cozy place to hang and mingle with friends.

As others have stated, Magie is good in concept and we'll likely return here, but with just a bit…read moremore effort on their part this wine bar could be so much better IMO. Unlike some other reviewers that scoffed at the prices of the wine, that didn't bother me so much. We had a bottle here that cost $55 and it retails for about $28; I was OK with that, as all restaurants and wine bars have a markup above retail, and even when you go to spots like Happy Wine or El Carajo and pick out a bottle to drink while in their shop, they charge a corkage fee for that. What I did have a problem with is that, after the "service charge" and other fees were added on, our $55 bottle rang up to more than $73 in total, which was ludicrous. When we first arrived at Magie we were met by a young guy who pointed out the bottles and where the various charcuterie items are located in the coolers, and we were then pretty much left on our own. We really just wanted a glass of wine each, but unlike places like Vinoteca, here at Magie they had a very limited selection of wines by the glass, and the ones available all seemed to come in single-serve cans. We picked out a bottle to share, went to the register, paid and the guy opened it and handed us 2 glasses. When I returned to get napkins, the guy just motioned to where the napkins were so I could grab my own (after moving a delivery cart out of the way by myself so I could reach them). Again, though this place includes an automatic "service charge", we received zero actual "service" unless one considers the 45 seconds it takes to uncork our bottle and charge us for the purchase. We had a seat, had a glass of wine each and then re-corked our bottle of wine and took it with us. Overall I think Magie is a great concept with lots of potential. The inside seating area is interestingly decorated and outfitted with lots of eclectic furniture and items on the walls, and the relatively large patio seating out front with tables for 2 to 8 people is shielded from the adjacent street/traffic and shaded by lots of trees and greenery. The ambiance overall is really very nice. The service, however, was non-existent, especially considering the automatic charge for that, and while prices of at least some wines aren't terribly out of line, the fact that all the service charges, taxes and fees added $20 to the cost of our bottle was a bit of a shocker. Magie should consider adding more wines by the glass IMO. Not just subpar quality single-serve cans, but decent wines, poured from a proper bottle with a topper that preserves the wine between pours like most every quality wine bar commonly offers. Lastly, while I don't think anyone expects linen napkins and white glove service, the paper plates and plastic cutlery customers are given to eat with are a bit off vs. what this place appears to be trying to be and the prices charged. The "F*ck Brunch" positioning statement on the back of the staffs' shirts was an interesting touch.
