We used Ferguson for all the appliances in our new home. Our sales person was great but the service since installation has been horrible!! They've been out to fix our Scotsman ice maker 4 times and then tried replacing it with a 2023 model that was leaking refrigerant! Our Lynx grill hasn't worked since we moved in 4 months ago. They continue to send people to repair it and it still isn't working!! I would NEVER use them again!!! We've been our home for 4 months and don't have an ice maker or a grill! read more

Home projects are never easy. We purchased a home and wanted to get a replacement bathroom fixture. Luckily, Ferguson stocked the brand and the exact model that we have. We're also looking to replace the kitchen stove with an induction and Ferguson does have a contractor that works for them and will be out to measure the space to see if we can make it bigger to accommodate the larger stove top with down draft vent. Lots to look at, lots to choose from, guidance from the staff is also a plus as they're very well versed on all their products. read more

Yesterday we returned a large number of items that were previously purchased at the Research Blvd location. When we entered the store we were immediately told that their system was down so they couldn't take our items. They recommended we come back the next day. We asked if they could make a list and return them the next day, they said we could make a list ourselves. We were feeling very frustrated but then found Danielle De La Fuente. She helped us find all of the items we needed to replace what we returned, she was so patient and kind and with her help we purchased even more items previously not on our radar. She returned everything we brought and sent a follow-up email today. If you want excellent service, ask for Danielle. read more

Showroom was nice. Our sales person Stephanie was really sweet and attentive. We decided to choose these guys for all of fixtures on a 120k master bath remodel. That was a mistake. These guys are garbage. We knew we were going to be doing a huge remodel so we decided to purchase everything 3 months in advance so we wouldn't run into any stocking issues. They cashed the check and did nothing. Essentially borrowing money without interest and giving us the big FU. The job started and our contractor said they forgot to do the PO. So obviously the project is at a standstill and said a few of the part were on back order. We had to source the parts ourselves because apparently Stephanie wasn't competent enough to use her brain and outsource it. I highly recommend any other place than this company. They still have not even reached out to us an apologize. Nor have they offered any comps due their mistakes. Our neighbor just had the same issue with them. Ordered a 20k tub. They sent 2 damaged ones and had the audacity to charge them a restocking fee. Who does that? Are they too dumb to realize the situation? That can't be right? Ferguson Home - Been looking at this for a few weeks with no movement due to dumb people behind a cash register - Appliances Near Me - Austin, Texas

This is the second and last time we will use Ferguson! First time was during the Covid pandemic. We ordered fixtures for our master bath remodel. We waited a couple of months for the sink faucets and other plumbing fixtures to come in and finally ended up cancelling the faucets and buying them at Home Depot. Ferguson blamed the pandemic for non availability of some items. Fast forward four years. Our contractor recommended we use Ferguson to purchase the new fixtures for our guest bath remodel. The Ferguson sales person assured us the days of non-availability were over, and we would have our order in three weeks. After SEVEN weeks we were notified all of our order had arrived. Upon delivery we were notified the shower bar was still on backorder. We promptly cancelled that part, got our money back and reordered the same part from Amazon. When the plumber went to install the shower/tub valve it only had two positions even though we ordered a 3 position valve. The plumber from another plumbing provider found a piece to swap out of the valve to make it work. The tub spigot was not correct either. It had a diverter switch that was not needed because the diverter valve up top handled switching water from the shower, sprayer and the tub. Our contractor just shook his head and said you have to watch them young sales people at Ferguson who don't know a darn thing about how plumbing works and will sell you anything. We spent a lot of money on things that the plumber found a way to make work, but don't work the way intended or we didn't need, i.e. a diverter in the tub. Didn't take the valve and tub spigot back to Ferguson because the tub and walls had been removed by the time we figured out things were not correct and could not stop the work to wait for Ferguson to get us the right parts. read more

Maybe they were having a bad day. When I approached the reception desk at front, the receptionist was distracted with her phone. I stood there for several minutes before she looked up. The reception was unwelcoming, as if I had interrupted her. After being directed to the plumbing supply department, I showed them a picture of my bathroom faucet connection and said that my plumber had advised me to show them this picture, and they would know what I needed to replace the filter on both faucets. When I showed them the picture, they said that they had no idea what it was and asked me several times whether it was a tub, shower or sink faucet (even after I had said several times that it was a bathroom sink faucet). Granted, I didn't know the brand, as it is not marked on the faucets, and I said so. But, they dismissed me, not offering anything to help me determine how to proceed next. I guess if it isn't a no-brainer, they aren't interested. Again, maybe it was a collective bad day for them. read more

Where to begin...I suppose my first sin was walking in donning a t-shirt, hat and shorts and driving a car less than 100 G's. I came in twice and was greeted each time I walked in like I was an annoyance. Like a guy who walks in asking to use the bathroom. The first when I came into look around and had the audacity to make an appointment at the front desk vs. online. The second when I came in for said appointment the next week, and my sales guy immediately patronized me asking about the "little things" I need for my kitchen remodel. Honestly If I had the time to start over elsewhere, I would have left, but I needed things being deep into a kitchen remodel. So I went through the paces with him. To his credit, he was knowledgeable about appliances, but simply put I was just a transaction to him. Dealing with this dude felt almost dehumanizing . To call him only humorless would be a kindness. Bottom line, If I didn't need what I bought in short order, I would have walked out, and I feel guilty giving them any business at all. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. Super delayed delivery of a tub with very rude staff who did not care about our order. They told us we were lying about the delivery time even though we were reading the delivery time from their website (we have screenshots). The phone customer service was beyond rude, they were condescending and basically hateful. Terrible communication skills. Fridge was delivered 6 months ago and missing a key part, which we're still waiting to be fixed. No one is able to give any kind of updates on when we can expect our issue to be resolved. Every phone call to them means I'm sitting on hold for at least 30 minutes. Every time I talk to a person, I get a new answer on date. I've asked for email updates or a phone call back at least 6 times, but never get a response. Ferguson has been a huge disappointment. They failed to return phone calls, lost our order, and lost our refrigerator. The refrigerator that they substituted is less expensive, and they will not refund the difference. Finally, they will not warranty the Thermador stove that we purchased from them. Horrible. Wish I could give no stars. Drove from outside of Austin and we called in advance to see if they had what we were looking for in stock. The receptionist tells callers whatever to get them in the door. When we arrived we were not greeted. We were fine to wander and look but when we were ready to talk to a salesman that's when the fun began. The receptionist acted annoyed that we interrupted her. The salesman seemed dismissive and acted as though we were wasting his time. We were ready to spend thousands today to get this project complete. Our time was wasted. Of course they had nothing in stock for the specific item we called about. Ridiculous. The owner of that location should reevaluate the staff. They are rude and unwelcoming. It's a shame that places like lowes and homedepot are putting smaller retailers out of business. Fantastic service! We purchased a new set of kitchen appliances from Ferguson and had great guidance from the sales team through the whole process. Also impressive was the installation team and their communication and professionalism, from scheduling to updates, to the folks who did the work. Last, but most important, was their response to a warranty claim we needed to make. No one wants to have to make a warranty claim on new appliances, but they were able to get us service immediately and then ended replacing our unit for no charge. Working with them directly was so much easier than calling the manufacturer, and the result far exceeded my expectations. I will return as a customer for this reason! Nicely done Ferguson. read more

Terrible installation. Purchased $30K of products. First, they broke the top of the range when they installed and refused to admit it. The warranty people came out and confirmed it was broken on installation and replaced it. Second, they did not install the feet on my range. Despite repeated calls by me and my contractor, no one has ever come out to do that simple finish. In addition, their contract installer took my refrigerator kick plate so he could do something to it to fit and he never returned. Again, despite our repeated calls, and confirmation from Ferguson that they knew I was out there and knew I was unhappy, I still have not had anyone to install my kickplate. And, it is gone. So I can't even install it myself. These appliances are available at other distributors. Be wary of Ferguson's installation crews. read more

Very disappointed in their service. We ordered a Jenn-Aire double wall oven on Feb 8th expecting quick delivery to replace our previous 10 yr old Jenn-Aire oven. The new oven was installed and was dead on arrival with electronic board failures and has never been usable. It has been nearly a month with no resolution from Ferguson to replace the defective unit they installed. I would have expected better attention to resolve an obvious out of the box failure and consideration of having no oven for nearly a month. More customer focused attention is needed. read more

Worst customer service ever! We went in to see about 2 sinks for our barndominium. They don't have prices on anything so we asked the receptionist if she could get us pricing and specs on two sinks. With the specs we went home to measure and make sure they would work. I called and spoke to someone else and was directed to order online. The first sink came in however it was not the sink we asked about. The receptionist had printed out the specs for the wrong sink. When I emailed the sales rep, he told me I could bring it back to the store for an exchange. I drove back (hour drive) with the sink in tow to see the receptionist that had made the mistske in the first place. She knew my situation because she had been cc'd on some of the emails. She never once apologized for the mistake, and proceeded to tell me that I could not make my return in the store because I had ordered online. I explained that the sales person (he was not in) told me I could return to the store she just said she couldn't do it. It was a total waste of a trip. I work in a customer service oriented industry and understand mistakes can been made, however this was not handled right at all and therefore I will not ever return nor reccomend anyone else to this store. I'm still waiting on the second sink, I hope it was I asked for. I'm returning the wrong sink through their online cente and asking for a refund. read more

I'm somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. In the end, I received some great customer service and some inattentive or inexperienced customer service that did cause headaches and could have caused bigger headaches. I want to give a shout out to the store manager for getting my kitchen project back on track, as well as his top-notch installers. The problems that led up to my calling the manager have been discussed and I have confidence that corrective actions are in the works. This is a tough business because sometimes even the manufacturers provide crappy information like incomplete measurements and gibberish for installation instructions. Ferguson has its work cut out for it just trying to stay abreast of the ins and outs of specific items. All I can say is that you are your own best advocate and if you don't think you're getting the right answer, keep asking and keep digging. read more
