I came here with a friend, and both of our Boba drinks were actually decent. The strawberry purée is quite nice with real fruit bits and it's good added to a tea. The mango green tea was a bit over brewed and bitter but still refreshing. Unfortunately, the service was uncomfortably unpleasant today. One employee working this afternoon was very angry about something. She kept turning the music up very loud although another employee came out of the kitchen and turned the volume back down. Neither of them spoke to each other. This happened back and forth several times and one time I mentioned to the angry employee that I cannot hear what my friend is saying because it was too loud and please might she turn it back down? She just gave me a look and pretended to turn the music back down, but the volume was the same. In addition, she was rattling/throwing? things in the front drink making area and one time very loudly screamed out an order number. It was quite unsettling and customers left the tables where they were sitting. I thought about just asking her if she was okay, but worried that it might come off wrong or busybody-ish. I wish that there was a way to calm her down. I do think that perhaps someone at the store (a manager?) should have spoken to her and calmed her down. I feel bad that she was so upset. This time around I got bold and tried a Strawberry Breeze. I read in a review that they used to be a smoothie & they only make milk teas now, but I was offered an option for both. I went for the smoothie, and it was soo good. I'm excited to try the other flavors! They have a variety of fruity drinks as well as teas/milk teas. Their popcorn chicken is pretty good too. They have condiments and powders next to the pickup area. I'm not sure why there's no option to order chicken or other foods online though. Their drinks are slightly pricier than other boba spots, but quality and size are pretty decent. I typically order the dirty boba or creme brûlée version of the dirty boba drink. Their fruit teas are quite refreshing as well. I also recommend their cakes! Not too sweet (the prime Asian compliment lol) and very fluffy. One cake is perfectly shareable amongst 2. I enjoyed the Mango Breeze, it was refreshing and the cream cheese foam was a nice touch. I got my drink 75% sweet which was great for me. For the Peach Oolong tea, the boba was super soft and chewy! The drink was at 50% sweetness, but I would recommend trying it maybe 75% or full sweet first just because this drink mainly tasted like milk with no tea or sweetness flavor, which is definitely a mistake on our part. read more

So glad they finally migrated from Newark to Milpitas! Arrived on a Sunday afternoon and there was a small line, but it went quickly thankfully. I went for a matcha breeze with boba 75% sweet, but really wished I asked for 50% sweet. The wait was quick and boba was so perfect and chewy, even after putting it in the fridge for hours! The store is located right next to new tung kee and has ample parking. The interior has lots of tables and chairs to study, work at or even hangout with friends.
