Best boba in the heights! Pluses 1. Easy to find and easy to order 2. Great milk teas - black and early grey today - the regular boba is great and we liked the grass jelly and coffee jelly a lot too 3. Friendly service 4. Casual ambiance 5. Good amount of tea Highly recommended for any boba cravings! Areas to improve

First time trying out a bubble tea spot in a while and I loved it! I am very picky with juices and tea because I don't like high sugar drinks and I love they have options of 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% sweet level. I chose 25% sweet level and I was able to finish my whole drink 10/10 What I ordered : - Kiwi Basil Green Tea (added Lychee) - Jasmine Apple Green Tea (added boba) The inside was so cute and aesthetic! Great for cute pics and for hanging out or studying! Inside is spacious, clean, and decor is very nice. They have games to play as well! Menu has many drink options, add ons, and desserts. The staff is very friendly and helpful with what to do order. They helped with what some of the add ons were like describing texture, flavor, etc. They have multiple locations definitely stop by if you see one or want a fresh tea drink!

I was around the area today because I was actually eating across the street. I noticed Feng Cha while parking and had to stop in. Once I finished brunch I decided to walk over. Walking in the shop is nice. It's this nice space that has well spaced seating. I would say it would be nice for a place to sit and get some work done. It is also convenient to order and go as well. I decided to get the creme brulee dirty boba and Vietnamese coffee. I did not get to try the Vietnamese coffee since it was for my sister but the creme brulee dirty boba was good. Presentation is nice and I do enjoy the torch flame to finish off the drink. Not too sweet but it is just right in flavor. The staff that took my order was also the one to make my drink too. Nice and helpful in telling me about what were good choices on the menu. Overall it is a nice location and does have a different feel versus the Chinatown location that is closer to my area. It is a little of a trip for me to stop in but I do like Feng Cha wherever it is located. Unfortunately I couldn't help myself and didn't take a picture of my drink but it was well made. If you are in the Heights area, stopping in Feng Cha is a good idea.

Stopped by this super cute drink place since it was close by to some other errands and I am impressed! The design is super cute with solid space for groups or individuals. They even have a games so it could be a great group outing or even if you just want to study The menu options are probably was stood out to me the most solely because they were so UNIQUE. There were so many options I've never seen at other drink places with a few classics of course. Based on the servers recommendation (also loved her honesty), I ordered the dirty crème brûlée and YALL they actually blowtorched the top of the drink. I have never. It tastes delicious and for the size, I would say the price was worth it ($6-8)! They also had a tasty looking dessert menu but I didn't order any! Definitely will be returning to try other options whenever I'm in the area again!

Always fast, always fresh, and delicious. They don't have just all creamy drinks and they have more fresh flavors like lime basil and grapefruit. They also have rewards which is a bonus for me under the Five Stars app.

We're from Hawaii visiting Houston for the first time and staff Sam and Marisol made our experience extra special... served with patience and honest recommendations as these yummy choices were quite hard to decide. BTW, ambiance was a perfect fit to a hectic day! Mahalo!!!

Brown Sugar Milk Tea: 8/10 I like my BSMT a bit sweeter, but this was gone in under 30 minutes! Super cute spot to study, catch up with friends, quick date, and more!

Customer service was amazing and drinks phenomenal. I got the ube matcha latte. I want to go back and try more.

Mango Green Tea with Aloe Vera

Delicious and refreshing drinks! I tried the mango with Aloe Vera and did not disappoint. Mary made my tea - she was super sweet and knowledgeable about what type of drink I was craving. Definitely recommend and will come back soon!

Ambiance: Bright and spacious interiors. There needs to be more variety of seating available. There are no tables for groups of 2 or less. Seating is hard and it doesn't make me feel like I'm relaxing with a tea. Service: It was warm but wasn't welcoming. Baristas seem to be busy with their conversation. Food/Drinks: We ordered Ginger milk and Matcha Teas with Grass Jelly. It was the best Ginger Milk I ever had. Kung Fu Tea is my usual go-to and I thought it was the best but this Ginger Milk was next level. I like that it had shredded ginger in it. Matcha Tea was flavorful and not overpowering. Overall we loved the drinks but I wouldn't go back if I plan to have boba and relax. Seating makes a huge difference and I didn't find any seating relaxing in this place. Something unique I found is the black wall beside the entrance where you can draw with chalk. It will be fun if you go with a family. This is a good spot to hang out with friends or family but it cannot be a date spot (It could become one if they change the seating)

Bursting Stanton fruit, crème brûlée dirty boba, tiramisu and strawberry cakes

By far the freshest, tastiest boba tea I've ever had! If you're never had boba tea from a place that uses fresh fruit and brews its own fresh tea and coffee daily, you're in for a treat - and you might not be able to go back to any other boba place again. We tried: 1. creme brûlée dirty boba (25% sweetness was perfect for me as I don't like overly sweet things), so creamy and delicious 2. classic milk tea (the difference with freshly brewed tea was obvious and so delicious) 3. dirty caffe latte (with cold brew! This was the best coffee drink I've ever had) 4. Bursting dragon fruit (perfect summer drink, fruity and fresh) 5. Summer melon (okay new perfect summer drink, omg this was so refreshing) The cakes are delicious too and made fresh every day. We tried the tiramisu and strawberry - both were delicious but especially the strawberry - covered in fresh fruit. The place is super cute and has a relaxing vibe, staff was friendly and quick. Not sure if all Feng Cha's have this high standard in quality but I highly recommend this location in particular!

They also have a spacious parking lot, which was convenient. Since I had my dog with me, I stepped inside briefly to confirm that the patio was open before settling in. I greeted the young woman at the counter and asked if patio seating was available. She responded, "Yes, because dogs are not allowed inside." That felt unnecessary. I was clearly asking about the patio for that exact reason. I was not attempting to sit indoors, and I understand health regulations. She then added that the Houston Health Department could walk in at any moment. Again, I was not trying to dine inside. I simply wanted to confirm patio access so I could enjoy a coffee outside. I asked if someone would be outside to take my order. She said no. So I asked if she could take my order right then so I could immediately head out to the patio. She agreed, but her tone and demeanor felt dismissive, which made the interaction uncomfortable. At that point, I decided to leave. If the patio is dog friendly, there should be a smoother process for solo customers with pets. A simple, "Yes, the patio is open. Let me take your order now so you can head outside," would have made this quick and easy. Advisory: If you are visiting with a dog, I would recommend bringing another person with you. If you are alone, the ordering process may be awkward, as you cannot remain inside with your dog while placing your order. I would have happily spent money here, but the service made the visit feel more procedural than welcoming.

Step inside and you'll find a wonderfully mixed crowd: tech people typing furiously, students contemplating existential dread over a flat white, fashion-forward creatives in boots so white they defy known urban physics -- and yes, that includes me. One corner of the room is charmingly not quite tidy, as if the café itself were whispering: "Relax. Real life happens here." Industrial ducts snake overhead, large windows flood the space with natural light, and sociability seems to circulate as freely as the air. Now, the coffee: a revelation. The espresso is concentrated civilization -- exactly as it should be -- and the cappuccino is an elegant balance of foam and depth, not one of those half-liter dairy-fatigue exercises from anonymous multi-national chains-that-shall-not-be-named. The staff? Friendly, knowledgeable, and disarmingly competent -- the sort of people who know precisely why this bean tastes like citrus and chocolate instead of simply shrugging at the universe. In sum: Tenfold isn't just a café; it's a microcosm of a city that thrives on difference. A place where everyone, no matter their background, finds caffeine, community, and a seat at the table. For all of that -- the atmosphere, the humanity, the coffee artistry -- five stars, unequivocally.

The listing for this exact location says "pets welcome," so I felt confident stopping by. However, as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by two customers fawning over my dog. Before any staff member greeted me or even acknowledged me as a customer, someone from behind the far counter told me that dogs were not allowed inside. I mentioned that their Google listing says pets are welcome, and the response was that it applies to a different location. That would be fine if it were clear, but the listing I checked had this location's address directly underneath "pets welcome." That is confusing and misleading. What made it more frustrating was the lack of hospitality. There was no greeting, no attempt to clarify kindly, no "We're sorry for the confusion," and no effort to offer a solution like helping me quickly order to go. It felt dismissive. Clear and accurate information matters. If pets are not welcome at this location, the listing should reflect that. I drove out of my way based on that detail, and it ended up being a waste of time and gas. Because of that experience, I chose not to patronize the this location but may try another location one day.

Thankfully I didn't have anywhere to be, because if you're stopping in before work or during a tight schedule, definitely plan ahead and expect a wait. The only real downside for me was the timing and ordering process. Spending close to $10 on one coffee plus waiting that long makes this feel more like an occasional treat rather than an everyday coffee run. I much prefer the saying if it ain't broke don't fix it. To the people who bought this place, I know your motto is "different is better," but please stop taking that so literally. You do not have to change every aspect of this place to make it different. The best thing about getting your everyday local coffee is seeing the same baristas you've seen over and over again, familiar faces who know you by name. This was one of those places where I'd hate to admit how much money I've spent here, and I did it happily. In just three weeks, our beloved spot, one I would willingly drive out of my way for, has gone so far downhill that I barely recognize it. From the eyesore taco warmer that practically knocks you in the face while you're ordering, replacing a space that once showcased lovely things like fresh flowers and local trinkets, to the disappearance of the wonderful local treats from Sinfull Bakery that kids genuinely enjoyed. At first I thought maybe you were just out, but after three weeks it became clear that expenses were being cut across the board and those items may never come back. And where do I even begin. The new oat milk is terrible. It completely changes the look and taste of the coffee and is immediately noticeable. I won't harp on the change of hours or the change in flavor of your coffee beans, but I feel it must be mentioned because, well, it's noticeable. And now the cleanliness. Spilled taco sauce all over the floor, and when your kid points it out, you know you're in trouble at that point. Dishes piled so high they're overflowing, dirty restrooms. And to be clear, this isn't the staff's fault, there is simply not enough staff to keep up with these things. Never ever in seven years of being a frequent visitor has it been this bad. I also noticed the new coffee packaging, and it's just another reminder that the heart and thoughtfulness that once defined this place are gone. At this rate I half expect robots handing me my latte in a few weeks so you can save a few more bucks. And getting rid of Toast. Even if Toast was an expensive platform to use, it was legitimately so convenient. And dang, if you're going to do away with it, don't replace it with the worst possible ordering system ever, one that doesn't even work. Do you know how many orders I wouldn't have placed if it weren't for Toast? Toast made those orders possible when I didn't have time to wait. Without it, I simply wouldn't have ordered. I understand times are tough for many businesses, but you all were booming. The new online ordering system doesn't work. You may as well do away with it altogether because this one just isn't it. Honestly, I am devastated. You knocked it out of the park in every area, cleanliness, service, food. I never had a single bad item on the menu. The coffee was beyond. When my family moved out of the city a year and a half ago, I still drove 35 minutes one way just to get your food and coffee, over an hour round trip again and again. I don't think you understand how this new direction has driven this place into the ground in a matter of three weeks. Sadly all good things must come to an end.

Boomtown Coffee - I really like this place. The avocado toast with alfalfa is one of my favorites.
