The same delivery driver OSVALDO keeps NOT ringing my bell so I cant get my package. I'm waiting all morning and afternoon to make sure I get my package and no ring. He's reusing the same photo from the day before for proof he came. I doubt he even got out his vehicle!! This is becoming ridiculous and very unprofessional! The website updates 30 minutes after they leave saying they came and no one was home when I've been home waiting.... I hope the manager fixes this issue read more

Fedex is the height of incompetence. I shipped a package to a Walgreens (which Fedex lists on its website as an option to hold shipments for recipients). The employees at Walgreens rejected the package which was then rerouted to a Fedex ship center in a different county than the recipient (who is 84 and does not drive). After at least 7 different calls (and unfilled promises to either reroute the package to the recipient's home or return to me, I was called by someone who told me I need to create an account so that they can charge me to return my package to me (on top of the fee I was charged, for which my package was never delivered). This is completely Fedex's mistake. Deciding to just create the account so that the package can be returned, I went onto the website, where I was told that my address is not in their database, so I cannot create an account. How is this place in business??? read more

Maybe hire competent workers who actually do their jobs. You got people who rely on delivery and Darnell didn't even bother to knock on my door. Now I'm missing three days of work for a package that should of came when promised. Get it together! read more

This driver never rang my bell. I haven't heard this bell at all for the past 2 days. Been up every morning as usual and he never rang. These people love a check but not do the job required. read more

I ask merchants to use USPS now since in all of the Bronx, there are only 3 FedEx offices where you can pick up packages once the drivers fail to deliver. I had ordered a baking dish from amazon because I am 60 years old with two hernias and need packages delivered to me. Instead, they attempted delivery only one time, never attempted again, never sent text updates even though I signed up for them, and even though I tried multiple times to request redelivery, they sent the package back to the seller. They did not need a signature. They just decided on his/her own to take the package with them and never ever try to deliver it again. These folks only do one thing. Their ONLY purpose for existence is to deliver items. They are very poor at that job. read more

INFURIATING!! How on earth could multiple issues surround the simple delivery of one package within a three day span? FedEx driver claimed on two separate deliveries that no one was home, it was quite the contrary. All the driver had to do was ring the door bell and most importantly, read the already signed authorization posted on the front door to leave the package without signature...that did not happen. Numerous phone calls made to FedEx, plus as suggested by the 800# rep, include my contact number for the driver to ensure delivery. No phone call. No reattempt of delivery. No package. To end this long story, as there is more to it. I chose to take the early drive to Mt. Vernon on an already hectically scheduled, snowy morning to retrieve said package before its return back to the sender. What a mess. One good note I must add. Though I had to pick the package up myself, the shipping centers reps at the desk were polite and efficient. read more

FedEx Ship Center - Shipping Centers Near Me - Mount Vernon, New York

I have been waiting for a package that requires a signature. The driver said he rang the bell, and left a tag. because no one was at home. I am not only home, but took a day off. To gain entry to my building, the system sends notices to both house and cell phones; no phone notices from FedEx. I don't know how he got in the building. After reading the reviews. the overwhelming number of 1 star reviews says it all...this is the worst delivery service imaginable. The 800 number is useless. They can't contact the local store, can't give me a way to contact the local store. I would not recommend FedEx. Go anywhere else! read more

Driver stated he delivered my package. I was home all day and I have a ring camera. He didn't even attempt to deliver. I look out the window right at the moment he said he delivered the package no FedEx truck to be seen. I have a pretty wide view of the street. Driver didn't even take a picture like usual. Driver more than likely stole the package. If I could give negative stars I would. read more

EVERYONE GO COMPLAIN AT THEIR INSTAGRAM PAGE. THEY ACTUALLY FOLLOW UP THERE. don't waste time complaining to mount vernon fed ex manager. 1. The driver made me go down to the lobby because the door bell didn't work, he lied. 2. It's a small space and easy to miss I almost drove past it. It's also tucked away from the main road so if you're not paying attention you will miss it. However, they're really nice and helpful. No complaints about the service I received and I didn't have to wait very long at all. read more

I don't understand how you can see a package is labeled to be delivered to an apartment complex, but you deliver it to a house instead. FedEx Ship Center - If you know where this is, let me know so I can get my package myself. FedEx Smd - Shipping Centers Near Me - Mount Vernon, New York

Multiple times the driver claims he is unable to deliver. Today i happened to be walking my dog and saw him pull up, i run to him and asked if he had my package i was expecting - he goes on to tell me he didn't have anything for my address. I checked the tracking info 2 mins later and was updated to Customer Not Available. This piece of $*** lied. I go to the shipping center as i was told, and waited for 2 hrs to be told driver is running late and my package is not available. Customers should not be treated this way if we are paying for services from you. read more

It's absolutely the worst FedEx store I have been to. Although the staff are trying hard to manage the people despite corona outbreak but they are under staffed and the line outside is ridiculous. They should separate the pick up service from rest of the services because Everytime somebody wants to pick up an item, which seems to happen very often at this location, the attendant leaves the station to bring the item and meanwhile people are waiting for long time to get served. read more

The folks working out of this shipping center are the worst. It's impossible to reach a person to levy a complaint. Today I was literally standing in my lobby talking to the mail woman AND a UPS driver (the latter just happened to arrive at the same time) -- when a supposed "attempt to deliver a package" notice arrived via text. The text alleged that I was unavailable all the while I was standing next to the open front door AND intercoms. Not only were they NEVER at my residence but this person also didn't leave a slip. This Fed Ex delivery person is a liar and shouldn't be working for the company. This also happened on Jan 10th of this year at approximately the same time (so possibly the same delivery person). Again, was home and they KNEW I was home b/c I rang the intercom for entry. What I didn't realize at the time was that the lazy Fed Ex driver wasn't coming up the stairs. After 5 minutes of waiting, I went downstairs all to discover they left a slip on the mailbox. I should have gotten door to door delivery but if he'd told me to come downstairs, I would have just gone to avoid the trouble. Not that this should have made a difference but the package was no more than a few lbs. On both deliveries, I paid an exorbitant fee for expedited shipping. This never happens with my local USPS or UPS deliveries. Since it's impossible to get a resolution via the 800 number or this shipping center, I can only use these public review forums to voice how shoddy this operation is and their terrible customer service! read more

the drivers are lazy. Anytime I have an order Coming with FedEx EXPRESS I know I'll have to pick it up myself. They lie and say delivery was attempted.Today I was Literally outside my building speaking with neighbor received an attempted delivery notification for 12:10pm mind you im outside and saw NOT ONE FEDEX TRUCK IN SIGHT. The truck driver who delivers to our area is old and grumpy. Can't even ask him a question without him having an attitude. He needs to be fired and replaced. I've never had an issue with the FedEx in YONKERS. read more

I ordered something that was supposed to be delivered two days ago. I have been home for the past two days. Monday, Tuesday, and now Wednesday, I have received updated texts and gone through the fedex web site to understand what is going on: "attempted delivery; no one there"!!! There is no tag on my door, my bell did not ring, and there is no tag on the building entrance door either. I would like to know, where is the attempted delivery??? I don't understand how a company that charges a premium, and can't get their deliveries straight! I understand with everything going on right now, that it may take longer and I'm cool with that. Just don't say you have attempted delivery when you have NOT. And then say, "final delivery will be attempted tomorrow". NYS is in quarantine at the moment, and I am trying my best to follow that rule. And you would want me to go pick up the package at a fedex location because you cannot do your job, and then you lie about doing it? read more

I have a perishable delivery they never made a effort to get in my building. Now I have to wait for 2 days to get my package.

Never have I gone to a shipping center and they refuse to print a label. Besides the fact there is only 1 person in there.... No manager no assistant manager... just one person there to be as least helpful as possible read more

I agree with these reviews. Fed ex is the worst. The drivers lie about delivery attempts made and never attempted to deliver my package. I received all my other packages from the different delivery companies over the Christmas season, except for Fed ex. They not only lied about making the delivery, but then took the package from the Bronx up to Mount Vernon, bypassing locations in the Bronx. I too called the 1800 #, but that was useless. I will never do business with Fed ex ever again. Corporate please read your reviews and emails. read more

Worst Facility, absolute nightmare of a mail service. Drivers don't care for anything that goes through their service & is received by this center. From non-deliveries being made, to little to none notifications about the expected delivery. This company clearly doesn't care about the service only the client it receives it's business from. read more

I believe that the driver responsible for delivering my packages is discriminating against me and refusing to deliver my packages. He never leaves a door tag but claims to have attempted a delivery stating "the entrance is inaccessible" which is false. I have a FedEx account with instructions for delivering my packages and I am signed up for text alerts; both are of no use because the drivers refuse to actually attempt a delivery. My residence has cameras so I can see whether or not the driver even approaches the residence. This is my fourth time filing a complaint to this local office and nothing has been rectified. I will be sending a letter to the corporate office in hopes of a resolution or some sort of reprimanding for the driver who continues to lie and should be fired at this point. I recommend that all of us who have complaints do the same so maybe some improvement can occur. FedEx Customer Relations 3975 Airways, Module H3 Department 4634 Memphis, TN 3811 read more

the drivers that work out of this facility are lazy. they will say no one was home and reschedule your delivery (i work from home). they are known for this type of behavior in my neighborhood. and if you are scheduled for a delivery on a friday... good luck because they will not deliver your package. what is the point of expedited shipment when these incompetent workers fail to make the delivery. read more

Pros: NONE Cons: (-) Messed up my shipment (-) Horrible customer service (-) Staff is lazy to help you ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I came here to pick up a package and once I got here, the lady at the front said my package was shipped to a different FedEx location in White Plains. What?! I told her according to the tracking # that it stated that it was in fact at this location. She didn't even make an effort to try to double check if my package was somewhere within their location. She argued with me and said that it wasn't there and she gave me the address to the place to where I could pick up my package. I drove to the White Plains location, only to be told by the rep there that they didn't have my package and didn't understand why the Mount Vernon FedEx would tell me otherwise. I was pissed! I felt like I was on a wild goose chase! Again....I drove back to the Mount Vernon location to deal with the same rude rep. The rep...again...kept insisting that they didn't have my package and that White Plains had it. I felt like I was having de ja vu all over again with her. I was going back and forth with her about this and told her that the White Plains location told me that they didn't have it and that they said it was here. She walked away...and called the White Plains location as I stood on the side annoyed. Minutes later, she got off the phone....walked to the back....and came and walked quietly to me with my package! She didn't even say anything. No sorry. Nothing. Just gave my package and walked away. Go figure? They had it all that time and couldn't even apologize for her own mistake and lack of customer service. I will definitely never ever come here again. read more

I'd give a -10 if I could. I have been awaiting a package since Wednesday, when I was told it would arrive. It is now Friday night. I was told that they made 4-5 attempts by now. Interesting, considering not ONE attempt receipt sticker was left. At this point I have been on the phone with almost 10 Fed Ex employees, including "Gloria," who is allegedly the Mt. Vernon branch manager. When asked for a direct #, I was told to call the toll free line again. Way to shirk responsibility. After reading these reviews I'm wondering what kind of operation they're running. It is disgusting that they blatantly lie and make excuses. I will be involving the Better Business Bureau and hope it goes under new management or is shut down. read more

I give one star because I can't give any lower stars! These people went to my building and left a note in the lobby saying they missed me. They literally rang the buzzer and I ran downstairs with my 2 year old In My arms as my mom in law waited in the apt just in case we crossed paths without noticing. So I see the guy getting in the truck and I'm yelling at the top of my lungs and he got on and left. It was paid for express delivery and I ended up getting it the following day after I received a call from them saying they will re attempt the same day ! Horrible service they should train their staffs better!!! read more

Fed-Ex made me angry, but the service was very helpful. I missed a package delivered to my house, and since I had an appointment in Westchester the next day, I figured I'd just saunter over to Mount Vernon and pick it up. WRONG. They put it back on the truck. The nice man at the counter told me that there was a chance I could get back to my house in time to catch the truck, but I missed it by 15 minutes thanks to public transportation, and saw him pulling away from my house. :/ It was taken back to the facility and I was fortunate enough to have a friend who also missed a package drive me to Mount Vernon... but this place seriously needs to relocate. It's literally in the middle of nowhere, and it's supposed to be a distribution facility for the Bronx. Many Bronxites don't drive. :[ read more

This location had to be the one that puts slowest in the word fedex. They usually only have one employee and lines go out the door. I was considering investing in FedEx and this did it for me not to. They never deliver my package but put in the system that they attempted to deliver my package and never even left a door tag work FedEx ever

I honestly wish review services would allow consumers to select no stars. The drivers from this FedEx location are the ABSOLUTE WORSE. Talk about LAZY individuals and LIARS. I have had to deal with FedEx all month for different packages and each time they claim they made an attempt to deliver and were unable to because no one was home. However, I WORK FROM HOME and NO ONE rings my bell so I at least know you are downstairs AND no notice is left to say you were here. I don't know how this location continues to exist in business but if it were up to me my packages WOULD NOT come through this FedEx facility. It is ABSOLUTELY disgusting and UNPROFESSIONAL to conduct business in this manner. read more

Horrible is not the word to describe this place, they will not deliver your package!!! You could stand outside all day and they will lie and say delivery attempt and no was home. Total lies, drivers are lazy, customer service no help. Corporate needs to look into this and possibly restructure the management team and employees. This station has zero customer service, and management is the first thing that needs to be analyzed and be held accountable so the management team can hold the rest of the team responsible!!! I am only putting a star because it is necessary but Fedex is absolutely the WORST CARRIER I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. THEY NEVER DELIVER. They say they do but they do not. They never deliver. Like NEVER. DID I SAY NEVER. NEVER NEVER NEVER. Even when you set up the notifications, even after leaving specific instructions, even after complaints, and claims and more claims. Even on different occasions, with different packages that have been ordered from different companies. They NEVER DELIVER. How is this possible. How can they say that they don't have a manager when asked to speak to someone. How can a company that is supposed to deliver, get away with not delivering to their customers. Why do I have an app? Why did I set up a business account? Because I thought I would surely get my deliveries. It doesn't matter. Ask me why.....BECAUSE THEY NEVER DELIVER. Once they even say they are allowed to not deliver if they feel threatened or unsafe due to covid. How? If they DON'T DELIVER. Oh I did get a package once and It looked like it had gotten caught in the wheels of the truck. It had a huge hole in it and then the carrier left it in the lobby. They didn't ring the bell they just left it and walked away. A neighbor saw it and she didn't know it was mine she even felt it wasn't right so she looked to see the apartment and brought it up. There is no coincidence that this same incident happened on another day by the same neighbor. I SWEAR! A hole big enough for the items to be removed. She brought the package up to me again saying they just left it there. I was forced to deal with them these last 2-3 occasions because the information and Items I requested only used FEDEX and AGAIN, THEY DID NOT DELIVER! read more

Shame I can't give zero stars. Their driver only does residential deliveries in my neighborhood during standard work hours, so I'm never home to receive deliveries except on some Fridays. When I called to request my doorbell be rung on a Friday I would be home to accept my delivery, a notice was left but my bell was never rung. Their customer service team's solution? I pay a fee to schedule a delivery at a time that is convenient for me. BULL. I refuse to pay a fee for a service I shouldn't need because the driver is too stupid to ring a bell. The doorbells are CLEARLY labeled right next to the door, so only the world's stupidest person would miss this. I despise FedEx as it is, but this is enough that if I ever have to choose between a FedEx across the street or a UPS a million miles away, I'll deal with the million miles. read more

They either need to FIRE and RE-HIRE or close this place down completely!!! I am so livid right now that typing this review isn't even helping. THEIR DRIVERS ARE LAZY!!!!! They half ass their jobs and try to make it seem like they attempted to deliver the package without even leaving a door tag. I've been waiting for my package for three days now. Last week I ordered an express delivery and didn't even receive it on the day I PAID EXTRA for! I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CHASE DOWN ANY FEDEX TRUCK I SEE JUST TO ASK THEM IF THEY HAVE MY PACKAGE! It's as if they are trying to steal which I'm pretty sure they would if you don't hound them. It's ridiculous that FedEx employees at this facility don't suffer consequences for not doing their damn jobs! I'll be waiting for my package again today and I swear if I don't receive it, I will write a review day in and day until this damn place is closed! read more

They've stolen two of my packages in less than one week claim To have delivered it but never did FedEx tracking claims they delivered my first order from Nike on Tuesday 08/18/2020 at 4:31pm. I work fro home and in order to gain access to my building you must ring my phone number last four digits to enter. FedEx never did. I called and registered a complaint and was told I would be contacted by FedEx regarding the investigation into the missing package. I waited almost twenty four hours FedEx NEVER CALLED. I finally reached FedEx on Thursday August 20th and was told FedEx would be calling the retailer Nike to make arraignments regarding my order. I called the retailer on Friday August 21 to follow up and they promptly sent another pair of replacement sneakers. I specifically asked the customer service agent NOT TO USE FEDEX as the carrier. Hey n Saturday August 22nd I received an email From Nike that my replacement was in its way to my home using FEDEX. I was upset and called Nike who told me it was too late to change the carrier. I activated my notification through my FedEx account and another tracking app named SHOP in order to keep track of this order. It was scheduled for Monday August 24th. At approximately 1:36pm Monday August 24th I received a notification via SHOP that FedEx delivered my packages in front of my apartment door. I opened my door immediately there was no package. I immediately ran out to the lobby of my building one floor away there were no packages in the lobby. I ran out of the building there was no FedEx truck within my residential area. My daughter who also works from home went from floor to floor looking for this package with no results. All of this taking place within minutes of FedEx claim they had delivered the package. I called FedEx immediately since this was the second time in less than a Week they had lied about delivering my package. I was placed on long holds after speaking to customer service agent who refused to give me his name. He further told me he couldn't give me the name of the person investigating my now second case in less than a week.
