P.S. There are times that there is a line but they have enough workers working to get you out fast. I would walk my dog with me and they would always acknowledge her. When I didn't bring her they asked where she was and I told them she passed away. They were sympathetic. What an amazing group working well together and make everybody happy appreciate that very fast and service

I had a simple service request, to drop off a completely UPS ready package. All I needed was to had over the package and for the employee to press a button and give me the receipt. The store was mobbed, at least a dozen people waiting with all kinds of different service needs: open packages, home wrapped packages... most needed substantial attention. I asked and was told I had to wait in the 45 minute line for less than a minute worth of service. The store is a mess and not clean. Two dozen or more packages and some unwrapped items in a disorderly pile in front of the windows--including a pair of large tires! If I have a choice, next time it's FedEx for me! If not I'll drive out to the store on Central Park Ave ( fair distance) to see if it is any better. read more

Going to sound like a petty review coming at you. $1.50 for a piece of tape to close my bag? Absolute madness!!! I know UPS store owners and there's no fee to tape. Even if you need to charge for tape cause "times are hard" even though shipping is up like crazy the past 2 years... 0.25, 0.50 cents that's cool. $1.50?! This is probably one of the better locations. It's evident that the staff are there to genuinely assist patrons. I had a Mercari shipment to send and had no idea how u would be able to send the item and its accessories. The blonde (if I remember) employee, with the undercut, did a phenomenal job of working out the best and cheapest way for me to ship the entire product without issue. This location is efficient and organized; hey maintain safety with social distancing and there's someone present to direct people where to stand and when to advance. It's a breath of fresh air, compared to other UPS locations. read more

There is nothing bad I can say about this location. The staff is always friendly, pleasant and super helpful. The location is always clean. And they definitely work fast to get people in and out. I will travel past another that is closer to me to get to this location. Also I didn't know that they were starting to charge to tape up boxes as of January 1, 2021 until informed. Knowing I had no tape at home, I purchased a roll (which by the way was cheaper than the last time I purchased one in target). Well he still taped my box for me for free with their tape instead of waiting for me to fumble with the new roll. read more

I have been going to this location for many years as my business is two blocks from here. They are 1st class and extremely helpful. I am not tech. savvy and they get me through my need whether it is shipping or printing from PDF. Funny how people complain on here about covid measures that were taken. I have to give this UPS store a great rating. Every time I come here I'm greeted with a smile. All of the employees are super nice. It's not once in a while. They have been consistent. The manager makes sure to not have too many people in at once. So depending on the time you come, there may be a line outside. But it moves pretty quickly so I don't mind the wait. This location repeatedly closes early. They have a line outside and then turn away customers at the manager's discretion. I've passed by numerous times when people have been arguing with the manager and even been inside when they start turning away customers because they are full or closed, yet seen the store be nearly empty. Last time the manager threatened to put her hands on one of the customers (both manager and customer were white FYI) because the customer was upset that they had people standing outside just to be turned away. I just visited the UPS store in Yonkers on McLean Avenue and while I have visited there before, today was different. The team member greeted me, handled my many large and clunky items which I needed to ship. She handled the items and placed them in corresponding boxes very quickly and efficiently. This is the only UPS store I trust. I have been using their services for over a year at this point, and they have never disappointed me. I frequently ship very large items, and I take the trip up from Manhattan, where I live, to this UPS store in Yonkers, because they are so good. Amy, who I have the pleasure of dealing with most times I go there, is exceptionally good at her job, and does everything in her power to make sure that my packages are put together correctly and shipped promptly. I called (they answered within 2 minutes...live person!) and I asked if they could meet me at my car to take a package as my two kids just fell asleep. I spoke with a lady who said sure, and within five minutes of arrival she came out to take my drop off! She even brought out my tracking info. Great store with friendly service. Came here due to the other UPS Store location not having a service as advertised. Pretty spacious and clean inside. You can drop off, pick up, purchase shipping items and all the norm of what you can do inside a UPS store. Shipping some items may be pricey, but UPS is more reliable than the Post Office at times so it's a good option. The owner and the other worker there were very friendly. Located on a often busy McLean Avenue - there are meter options, but they don't go past 30 minutes (a quarter per 15 minutes) if you intend on going elsewhere past this store. You can park on a side street free, just make sure it's not an alternate side day. Recommended for anyone needing their many services. read more

I often shop at amazon and of course there will be some items that need to be returned. My first experience of sending items back was with Liz........approximately 3 months ago. She really helped me through the process with such patience and expertise. She was amazing! My last encounter was with Nicole and oh boy, I had a lot to return. Nicole helped that process to be super smooth for me. She also was amazing. I am most grateful to Liz and Nicole for their professionalism and excellent customer service. I want to also thank a lady with I believe longish blond hair (I wish I would have gotten her name, too). She helped ever so pleasantly keep wonderful order, on the 'social distancing' line. Cannot day enough about the staff here. This location is well run, well stocked and the staff is wonderful. I sat visited a few weeks ago and there was a long line due to the pandemic but despite the heat, customers were patient and orderly and the staff was great as always. I have to say that I truly enjoy going to this UPS location! I know that sounds weird because it's not exactly fun to do errands, but Amy & Kathy make doing a routine chore a total breeze. I had to scan, sort & mail a bunch of complicated paperwork overseas for the second time after a different ups location botched it. They helped me take care of it quickly and gave me some great advice about how to get my company's product over there the most cost effective way. This location is clean, well organized, and they were even playing cool music! I have been there twice now and recommend going before 3pm in order to find a street parking spot easily. I was a customer for years as I had packages delivered and paid dearly for the privilege. Every year, fee was RAISED. I would get packages there on average, about two per month. I would call and ask if something was there for me and if I got the girl, very nice. Then I got some guy who was NASTY AND ABRUPT and told me I would have to come in and look ! McLean Ave ( where there are a hundred Irish bars and NO PARKING). Then that miserable guy told me I would be charged an EXTRA $ 20 per month on top of expensive fee if I want him to tell me packages are there for me. I called three other UPS stores in area and they thought I was nuts when I told them my experience with McLean. I am long gone and very happy at another UPS location where I am treated like the human being I am. That guy is a piece of garbage and should never work with the public. read more

It was freezing outside tonight (19 degrees to be exact) and I went to pick up a quick set copies. I paid and then I walked to the corner of the store to put my things away (card and copies) and wait for my Uber. I was called "sweetie" ( not appropriate) and told I had to leave now because it was unfair that I was there because one other person had to come in. I'm assuming because they have chosen to only have 5 customers at a time in the store due to Covid but one more person would have done what exactly. it was not busy at all and i waited in the freezing cold for my Uber to come and watched the person that I was put out for drive off in their vehicle. I am sorry I am not a car owner but I was a customer and have been for over two years. What happened tonight was unfair to me, unnecessary, heartless, and rude. Not sure whether it's just the employees, or whether it's the general culture of this particular establishment. Either way, it's appalling. The fax has always been working, when I've needed it, and I've never had a problem with them being short on packing materials and boxes. Service is fast too. If I could give ZERO stars I would. This is the most unprofessional business I've ever been to. The owner was the only one working there on a Saturday. The guy in line before us had a red slip and he told him he couldn't find his package and "what am I supposed to look through 600 packages?". This was not a good sign. It was our turn and I had heavy bundles of records and a box of books to ship across the country. He did not even weigh them. He said "16 dollars" for everything? Then when he printed out one shipping label it was the wrong name and the address was spelled comically wrong. When I told him he said that it kept filling in this particular name and he didn't know how to change it. Then he said "are you sure that this person didn't live there before?" Absolutely ridiculous. Meanwhile there is a large line of people waiting. Then he says "the computer froze. I don't know what to tell you." This is 30 minutes later mind you. So then we say " what do you mean you can't send anything? You have to shut down the store?". And he says he does have to shut down the store and starts closing up shop! He lets one lady leave without paying for a bunch of zeroxes she made. He turns down a few people that are popping in as everyone is leaving the store, having waited on line for quite some time. It was insane and honestly he seemed like he was heavily sedated. It was strange and uncomfortable to say the least. So we take everything out of the store and he shuts it down behind us. He doesn't apologize. He actually seems annoyed at us. Then we go to another UPS store and boom they are finished within 5 minutes. It costs 233.00$ because it was weighed and actually done correctly! This is outrageous. UPS should not allow him to operate this store. read more
