I came in on Tuesday 1/14 @11:30am looking to return some packages. There's two employees working , two females, one of Asian decent was on her phone as I walked in with three customers in line waiting. Long waiting time with two employees at hand , one not helping. I arrieved with boxes and shipping labels as always. When I finally get helped I get told by the employee who was on her phone that I need to pay for the boxes to be taped up. Just left this location. I came here to return an amazon package instead of going to my local UPS. One label needed to be printed. Unfortunately, I needed a little help because my vision is not best for reading anymore. I asked Shen at the counter who was assisting me for help to which she replied, "You can do it on your own" , so I did. Then she said, " If you still need help the email address is behind you on the wall." When I turned around I did not see it then noticed it was clear across the store. I said, "If I am having a hard time reading on my phone how can I read that over there. Shen said, " Well you can walk over there yourself." Shen who is working at the counter with her pink dyed hair representing UPS has no customer service, etiquette, no compassion, no empathy and is not willing to help. I sure would hope she doesn't represent the values for business that are necessary to maintain this UPS store. However, I will not be returning here anymore. As difficult as it is to get a job now days Shen should be ashamed of herself. I am sure there are many better choices of individuals looking for a job that would be thrilled to work at the counter and help. My weakened vision is an issue for many people and a little help goes a long way. Perhaps this is why the store was empty. Perhaps this is why the other counter person looked over and Shen and shook his head but also quickly put his head down to make no further eye contact with me. It would have been easy to tell Shen exactly how I felt in the manner she deserved, but why be like her. Instead, I stated to her that she was not nice at all as I exited the store. The world doesn't need any more people like Shen. Hopefully, at a minimum Shen can receive some customer service training and recognize change begins with the individual. read more

This location of the UPS Store is definitely first rate! They have a super friendly staff every time I visit, and they are always willing to help with any shipping needs I have. Another plus is that this UPS Store is never super crowded, which means that you can usually get in and out quickly. The only bug-a-boo when visiting this location is the parking. The store is located in a strip shopping center with a a big parking lot. However, because the store is positioned near the busiest corner of the shopping center, finding parking is sometimes a hassle. And, on top of that are the lazy patrons who don't follow the rules and park in the fire lane. So, even if you have found a good parking space in the lot, it's often a challenge to squeeze out of your legal parking space to avoid crashing into cars illegally parked. read more

The young men in the store today there were about 4 of them were all extremely helpful with my company equipment return. The Asian young man helped me most, he measured separated and had my equipment packed to return to my company as we have an account. I'm sure it was extra work for them but they were all so kind and intelligent with what they were doing. I was happy with my experience here today at the ups store. Pricey ,but they are there when you are in a tight spot. I went in and was able to have a document notarized quickly. Also I went to another store and was able to have legal papers which are extra long length and other documents copied and faxed to two separate locations . Both stores are wonderful. Costs $2.50 to have them print your label for you on a 8.5 x 11" sheet of paper. They said "We can print it but we charge" which seemed fair (but I should have asked how much). They printed it, stuck it on the box and then rang up $2.50... I was a little surprised. Staples will print your label for free at the Staples UPS counter, or spend $0.17 at the Staples self print copier/printer. read more

The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Yonkers, New York

Unfortunately this may have nothing to do with this store but this is the store I dropped my package off to. I was sending a package to Albany, NY from Yonkers NY, I was given a delivery date if 5/16 the package wasn't delivered until 5/26. Everyone I spoke to blamed someone else , it really doesn't matter who's fault it was, but I was told my package sat somewhere in NY for ten days before for unknown reasons my package went to Pennsylvania. I never received the service I paid for and was told I was not entitled to a refund. I will never use UPS again and suggest people use either the US Postal Service or FedEx. read more

If you have to ship/drop off with UPS, this is the location to do it. I've been coming here on and off for years (to mostly drop off) with packages for UPS. Always a simple process since I do pack and seal anything I bring here beforehand. If you don't have your stuff packed, they will do it for you. There's plenty of supplies, tape, boxes for sale here as well, along with some other things for sale. Plenty of services and options too. The customer service has always been friendly each and every time I've come in here, which really says something. The last dealing I had inside here was good enough to make me finally consider opening an official UPS account since I do ship packages (for eBay) frequently enough and as another reviewer pointed out, it's a better option at times than the Post Office (due to customer service and efficiency), even if the price is a little higher at times. The one reviewer who unfairly gave the UPS store 1 star because of their hours is being overcritical. I work during the week as well - and there are times I can still make it here during the weeknights (7pm close time). For the times I was able to come Saturday, I had no issues ever with their 3pm close time. If you have errands to run, then maybe come here a little earlier - like I do, as well as others. Located in the Highridge shopping Plaza, the lot is a decent size and less busy now since the Pathmark closed down. There's still other businesses here, but without Pathmark, it's much easier to park with less nuisances and inept drivers. Recommended place. I can't speak for other locations as far as drop-off or UPS in general for prices, but this place has always been great. read more

These guys and gals bust their butts to ship your package, get your mail and whatever else in a timely fashion so you can get to your other errands. I rent a mailbox here because they are a zillion times better than the moronic institution we were all born using since our parents and our grandparents: the Post Office. I don't mind paying to get an iota of intelligence and to be talked up to, instead of down at like the Centuck Post Office which is the closest nearby. Anyway, not to digress, if you want a positive experience with shipping, use this place. It may be a little more expensive but they work for it. read more

The employees here are great, they try to keep lines moving and get you out of there without rushing you. They are knowledgeable and friendly. The store is small and is in a pretty convenient location. The only issue is parking spots because the lot is a little chaotic with people double parking and blocking you from backing out of your spot. read more

UPS dreadful service - where is my stuff? On June 24, I dropped a package at the UPS store located on 1767 Central Park Ave South, Yonkers, NY 10710 containing a return of an item purchased from Amazon.com. The clerk scanned the QR code sent by Amazon and printed the label. I requested a receipt and I was told that it would be emailed to me. I never received it. A few days later I returned to the store to ask about it. I was told that sometimes this happens. He scanned the QR code and confirmed that it was received by the store and it should be on its way. He suggested me to track on the website using the track number in the QR 1Z53Y8399061117223. I did it and the information was that the label was only created but the package was not received by UPS. I called the store and was suggested to call UPS customer service. I did and the attendant told me that was sending me an email confirming the filing of my claim. The message only had a link to file the claim. I tried and I could file the claim because UPS does not recognize that it has received the package. I am in a loop. The store does not take responsibility neither UPS does. The time Amazon gave me to return is about to expire and I will loose the product and the reimbursement. UPS service is a mess and the Yonkers UPS store is even worse. I have no idea how to resolve this matter. Is there anyone at UPS who cares? If so, contact me please. read more

Not a fan of ridiculously high prices for mediocre service. An inch or two of tape will run you several dollars and that's not for you to keep. So tape up before you bring anything in. Sometimes we forget but $3-$5 will make you remember. read more

I have been using this store for over 10 years. Only because it is conveniently located at a place I can get to easily. It used to be horrible, everything from losing mail and blaming it on the post office, and putting mail in the wrong boxes, it was run by a cute old couple who couldn't keep up with the new technologies. Now under the new management it's only slightly better. Today they locked me out of my box a week earlier than the when payment was due. When I asked them why that happened no apologies, just said you should have service for another week but I recommend you pay it now. I was doing a favor to my uncle and sent out a 10.6lb box to Miami ground commercial. I gave the guy my credit card once the label was created. I never looked at the price until two days after. I realized I was charged $39 for a 10lb box with dimensions of (16.00X22.00x11.00in). I went back to see if it was a mistake and they told me no. Due to the dimensions of my box my 10lb box now became a 24lb box? Like seriously? The box wasn't big and also the guy working there never mentioned that to me. Would've been nice to know that my 10lb box magically became a 24lb box from one second to the other... I wouldn't have sent out the box through ups if they would have told me.... Even though I'm sure it was an annoying process for them and even though it took almost half an hour the guy that helped me was super cool and thorough and kind throughout the whole process. I love the family who runs this store. They are so kind and efficient. I have been to a few UPS stores in the area, including the Bronxville one, and this is by far the best. I love them! This is a great UPS store. I've been to other UPS locations in the past but this location is always a pleasure to come to. The hours are convenient and the staff has always been very courteous and helpful. I'm fortunate that this location is very convenient for me to get to from where I live. I do most of my shopping online so I tend to have a lot of UPS packages. I have always packed and sealed my items before dropping off so I can't speak of their packaging and supplies. I do see that they have the option to pack items in the store I just have never used them myself. They always give me a receipt when I drop off an item and the shipping always seems very fast when I drop it off at this store. read more
