Where should I start?…read more I've been using Laparkan to ship my barrels to Jamaica for few years now. The service at the Mount Vernon office is horrible. So horrible that I don't understand why that woman behind the counter is allowed to work. Someone should pay her to stay home. Whenever you walk in the office, you feel as if you have stepped inside the demilitarized zone. You're not greeted and there is no acknowledgement of your presence. When she feels it time to talk to you, the customer, there is always an attitude in her tone. I have often wonder why I continue to do business with this company at all. I will say, however, that the Laparkan service in the Montegobay Jamaica office is by far the best. But sad to say, I refuse to use Laparkan shipping until they adjust or train the Mount Vernon Staff on how to provide proper customer service. I will not spend my money with any company that treats me with such disrespected. Not once, but at three times in one year by the same person.

First time dropping amazon packages, a friend said this was a nice location…read more As I was taking my things out of the bag, the associate immediatly told me that my things needed boxes that I couldnt send anything back 8n the plastic bags they were packed in. " All this before even asking me if it were amazon" so i said its amazon, she then said let me see your barcodes.. I am not new to dropping off, so if i needed a box my items woyld have been in a box, why would you assume I dont know. I had one item that didnt need a box, only a lable, she said that i should wrap it and quoted me 1.75 and $2 something because i did need a lable printed. I just found the entire experience to be so rude and I felt uncomfortable the entire process. The upselling before a greeting, was so unprofessional. I wont be going back they seem more interested in making a sale, why do amazon then.
