I had to send some important documents internationally and Steve was extremely helpful and very professional. He set my mind at ease everything would arrive promptly and securely. They are working hard to clean up and renovate so don't let that deter you from using their services. read more

I agree with other customers that it's weird they won't give you a receipt. I said I needed it for my company to start my refund faster and I was told "they're too busy"...I was the only one in there, it takes two seconds to print it. Unfortunate that it's the only FedEx in my neighborhood read more

Terrible service, very rude. Refused to give a receipt. This guy might be trying to steal packages. Be wary!!

I just dropped off an air conditioner size box. Although Steve initially didn't want to accept my FedEx shipping box due to the size he ended up accommodating me. He saw I was desperate to get rid of the box. Thank you Steve. I will cash next time! read more

The place is listed as a FedEx package drop off but picks and chooses what they will accept. The guy working there is an idiot and comes up with lame excuses to not accept your package. Hope the place goes out of business soon and replaced by an actual FedEx ship and drop-off center. read more

Very helpful and kind but 1 person working probably the owner. Had wait like 20min to send a box out. But he didn't charge me extra for wrapping and stuffing etc.. some ups store charges you just for the taping the box. I almost felt like I had to pay him for what he did but he said it was ok.. 5 star small business here ! read more

The owner was so nice! RE-packaged the box I had originally brought in because it was too big! Also followed up immediately after I left message about the package being delivered on time, which it was!!! And then he text me to tell me it was there! Very nice Highly recommend read more

Teddy the owner is so fantastic! He helped us mail all our Christmas gifts to Canada in one visit. He consolidated boxes into three shipments to find the most economical way for us to get through Covid. He knows customs 'usual' way of working and walked us through it patiently. Sorry USPS, I'll stick with this guy rather than play the guessing game or overpriced 10+ day shipping to Canada for packages. USPS can't tell me when or even guess about customs. Go here with your shipments - simplify your life read more

What a pleasure to do business with Teddy! I has to ship something bigger, heavier and more valuable than anything I have before. Teddy explained all my options, how much insurance would cost, what to do if I needed to make a claim..he added Fragile stickers...he was very friendly and courteous...I am definitely using Bb's again!!!! read more

Great place to ship stuff. Teddy the owner is very accommodating to peoples shippings needs. He also has a great relationship with the UPS/Fedex delivery drivers. Skip the line go to this place. I see other reviewers stating that people don't get receipts for dropoffs. You only get receipts at UPS or FedEx stores for dropoffs. Just take a picture of the tracking number and track it that way. Teddy will make sure your item gets to the proper shipper. read more

GREAT service and truly bullet proof packing! Ted the owner packed a pair of 50+ lb each tube power amps in 2 boxes and shipped it to me from NY to Cali. He placed the expensive and delicate amps in 2" thick foam (which I'm using it as sound dampeners), tightly wrapped it in bubble packs to be packed into a larger box with foam peanuts. His price was reasonable and he even packed the associated very expensive tubes and tube preamp boxes better even though I didn't pay for the service. PS - As for the dude with negative review cos Ted didn;t give him a FedEx receipt - you DON'T get a receipt unless you take it to FedEx yourself! Ted did it gratis free for you! read more

I may be Ted's longest and most faithful customer. It's rare that I ever read nor care about what anyone has to say on Yelp reviews, no offense, but I am a person that likes to have my own unique and personal experiences in life without someone's biased opinions. All I can say about Ted is, he's the best! And he's always there for me for whatever I need and that is a rare trait in life. No sure about his golf game yet because haven't been on the greens with him yet but I know he loves the game and I'm guessing that he's a decent player. Ted, if you are reading this, your longest customer Ken D is willing to fill in for you at work one day so you can enjoy a day of golf. Just give me a little notice. Thanks for everything Ted and see you later today. And don't ever retire because I need you to guard my mail! Best, Ken D read more

Ive been here a few times over the last decade. There has always been the same Asian man there. He has always been nice enough... Well, as usual, I have to ship a toy to my nephew last minute. Its in a really large, oddly shaped box...for the size and weight it wouldve cost over $200 to ship next day. He actually felt bad for me. He built a box for me to ship the toy in, for free, gave me the price list for 2 and 3 day, and plain ground shipping as well. After checking the address and paying...i left. He called me approx 3 minutes later...I FORGOT MY MASTERCARD. THANK YOU! read more

Owners very courteous and helpful, I have a rented box for delivery , he's never mean to customer (usually they are if you order bunch of stuff and take their space) very nice place that helps you with packings too "versus" ups store will charge you for sealing a box. read more

IF There's MINUS review, I'll give this place - 10 I dropped of the package on Monday, May 4th, 2020. I asked for the receipt, a middle age man said, no worry about it.. you have the tracking number. I was about to ask him something else about the label and he just basically repeating himself that I have the tracking number and waving good bye to me. According to the shipping arrangement, it should be arrived on May 5th.Today is May 6th. Guess what.... the packaged does NOT have the tracking activities at all. I called the BB's Packaging & Shipping today... it went to voice mails. I went to the place it's closed !!! When I called the emergency number, the same guy pick up and told me not to worry and said that FedEX will come and pick up the package either today or tomorrow. I asked him how ? IF he put down as closed until May 11 ?! so my package will be delayed ? That it is an important package that need to be sent ASAP. You Should've let me know on Monday ! Then, He started yelling at me and said what do you want me to do ??? then, he hang-up rudely! DO NOT use this Service. Please drop of your FEDEX to Walgreen at Bay Terrace with a nicer well manner service ! read more

The owner is so nice he accommodates all your satisfying needs! Great prices to ship overseas highly recommended

That review of one star by Gloria is absurd. I've been going to BB's for over ten years. The owner is NEVER curt and dismissive. Always helpful. Always suggests the best way to ship AND to package. Prices are a bit lower than UPS. I hope this Gloria never comes to my business. Larry W., a happy, long-time customer. read more

I brought a prepaid FedEx package from Dell to drop off at this location and was treated very disrespectfully. The man that worked there said "you did not pay, so you do not get receipt". I am dropping off a laptop and wanted proof that I had in fact brought it to the location and he refuses to give me a receipt? That is totally absurd and no way to do business. If that is the rule, then fine, say it nicely, but I highly doubt that FedEx expects me to drop off a $1,000.00 laptop with a prepaid Dell shipping label and not have any proof that I did so. This place is off the list of businesses that I plan on ever doing business with again. To top it all, he told me to go to someplace else that gives receipts. This is after I put money in the meter. I suggest that everyone reading this, take his advice and go anywhere else but here. Update-Is this owner serious? I posted this review in 2016 and two years later he tells me to "man up" and perhaps the ex-military worker may have been spoken to disrespectfully and responded in kind... To say "man up" sounds like a threat. I brought a $1,000 laptop with a pre-paid Dell label and I am supposed to walk out without any proof that it was left at your business? This certainly is and cannot be company policy because no one in their right mind would trust a stranger without getting a receipt that their valuable was shipped. My original review stands and this location should be avoided. The customer is always right? Not at Bb's Packaging & Shipping!!! read more

Not a good place to drop off prepaid packages as they don't get much money for it and will likely charge you a petty dollar. Otherwise they seem reliable and my packages were sent on time. read more

Great service! Competitive pricing and no waiting at all! I was shipping a complicated package to England and the man was very helpful and also packaged it for me. Will def recommend and return! read more

I've used BB's Packaging to receive shipments from overseas when I wouldn't be home to sign for them. The owner has ALWAYS been very nice, and his prices are ALWAYS reasonable. read more

An old grouchy man who just wants to just make money through shipping. I called yesterday asking him if I can make a fedex shipping label on my own online and print it at the store to ship through Fedex because I was having trouble with my printer. I guess cause his English is not good, he must have understood it as he would be the one making the shipping label for me at the store. This usually means that the store would make a profit from Fedex because they are making the label for me. When I went to the store today which opened at 12pm because of COVID-19, he saw me and was ready to ship my items. As soon as I pulled out my printed shipping label because I got the printer working and printed it out myself, he immediately changes his mind and says he won't ship and his store is closed. I told the man, I call him the day before to make sure he can do this shipment because I'm taking my time during COVID-19 lock down to make it all the way to his store to ship the item. THEN he pretends by saying he can't ship and he has a "fever" aka COVID-19. Seriously?!! First of all, do not pretend you have COVID-19 especially during this time of pandemic. It's very childlike and it's not a joke to be pretending like you are sick! COVID-19 is a serious matter and I find disgusting that he uses that as an excuse to not do business because he wont be making a profit from my shipment. But you know what I'm glad I didn't ship it from this guy because I would NEVER trust my packages who is not honest. Would you really want to ship your item through an untrustworthy carrier? I don't care how cheap his pricing is on shipping, I would rather pay few more bucks to make sure I send with a reliable shipping company! You are disgrace old man! read more

This place is fine if you are shipping packages with no value or that you don't care if they get lost or stolen. I went to BBs Packing & Shipping a few weeks ago to ship a fed-ex (2-day) product return for a product valued at over $300.00. The owner was somewhat curt and dismissive, and took the package and left me with an, "OK!", but no receipt. The owner said rather grumpily, that he gets 100s of packages a day, with no receipt and no problems. I figured as an authorized dealer I had nothing to worry about. After two-days, my package was not scanned in, or was it received. I was then told by Fed-Ex to wait a few days and that I should contact the shop again. I contacted the shop and he was rude and very unhelpful, explaining to me, that either, "he stole the package or fed-ex did, and he went on that there was nothing he could do." He then basically hung up on me. I then called Fed-Ex and explained the situation to them, and they told me to enter a claim and to send a receipt to confirm the value of the package, which I did. Fed-Ex performed an investigation and said that I would need to get the shop owner to confirm the pick-up to be reimbursed for the package. I called the shop owner. He was again, rude and dismissive and said he could not do anything to help me. Sadly, he would not even entertain the idea of helping me because as he went on to explain, he keeps NO RECORDS of the packages being picked or delivered. He then told me, he was busy and that he had customers to take care of and basically hung up on me again. The moral of this story is that customers should be BEWARE! This place is a send at your own risk type of setting and if your package goes lost or missing the owner is unwilling to assist and couldn't care less if he loses you as a customer. This was a very frustrating and expensive lesson to learn. I can't reiterate enough how important a receipt is when shipping packages. This place takes absolutely no responsibility for shipping and refuses to deal with receipts. You are therefore shipping packages at your own risk. read more

I wanted to return a package and from the minute i walked in there the guy working there was so rude! I tried asking him a question and he raised his voice at me and just said "Show me the label!" i asked him why he was being so rude and he said "I'm not being rude! I told you show me the label and you were like Blah blah blah blah" he literally said "blah blah blah!" Like i understand you told me show me the label but i had a question regarding that and he just cut me off to basically yell at me to show him that label! He then asked me if i was going to pay or not and i was like obviously but you don't have to be so rude! I got upset at the way he was acting and said you're being so fckin rude and he starting yelling saying DID YOU JUST SAY fckin and i said yeah and he said B**tch!! I don't know if he was having a bad day but regardless i have never been to a place where someone acts like that towards their customers! This could all have been avoided all i wanted was to return my package! read more

Worst customer service. I went there today to ship a $3000 Chanel bag for a friend. There was no customers in the store when I got there. The Korean man who did my packaging was rushing me. I was trying to verify the address of my friend because it wasn't showing on their computer system. While I was on the phone, he already put the labels on the box and dropped it on the floor next to my daughter on the stroller who got startled and got terrified. He told me my address was wrong so he changed it. I told him I want to be sure because it is an expensive bag. Then he yelled at me for not telling him that I want it insured. The customer service is there is the worst that I ever had considering that I paid $45 for the entire shipping. I was treated like crap. I would not recommend this place for anyone. There are lots of shipping place in Bayside that has far better service. read more
