First , I have been a business Fed Ex customer for over 27 years . That means nothing to Fed Ex . They have been fraudulently over charging for years . I finally was able to catch this by having to measure recipient mail boxes where we ship packages to as well as measure the Fed Ex drop box opening . This was to prove they are remeasuring packages after they are received to up charge customers . I will never use Fed Ex again for shipping over night packages . Their business practices are very unethical and as a 27 year customer , I was treated like my business didn't matter . We have switched to now only using UPS . read more

Highly recommend this FedEx Ship Center. I had to return a 5-6 pound ion battery for a return on my water filter. I waited at UPS first off for 1 hour because customer service was unsure of the protocol for shipping batteries, and couldn't answer me definitively. I in turn called FedEx and they were able to ship the battery back to the manufacturer. The customer service gentleman at this location was incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. I appreciate him walking me through pricing, and timing of shipping. The prices at FedEx are also more competitive than UPS at this point. Based on other reviews this local FedEx service doesn't care so I have low hopes for this review. Our business ships a lot of packages every day. There are days when the driver doesn't even show up, we certainly can't count on the pickup day they list. If your delivery window can be +/- 3-4 days then maybe this is OK for you, but if you want to tell your customers a pickup date and actually hit that date then I suggest you avoid the local FedEx service in Marina! Called customer service and got a run-around when I tried to figure out how to fix this issue on a general basis, not a specific example. She said "I can't help you". I said "can you get me to someone who can?", and her reply was "No". That's accurate at least, even if their pickup times aren't! read more

Thanks for the threatening phone call telling me you are mailing my package back to the sender if I don't come by the office and pick it up before 6:30 today. This is after I already received two other voicemail messages telling me you tried to deliver a package while I'm visiting family for thanksgiving and am on the east coast. I already called the 800GOFEDEX and asked them to hold the package. I would have called your store directly but there is no phone Number on google or on Yelp for your location. Why didn't you leave the package on my front porch? Why are you threatening to send my package back to the sender? Bad neighbors. They use the empty office parking lot adjacent to our building for driver training. Normally this is not a problem, but today they seem to be doing horn-honking training. The truck(s) have been blaring their horns incessantly for 4 hours now. People from my office have asked very nicely if they could please do that somewhere else but they laugh and wave us off. There is no phone number we can find for this center and our attempts to complain to "corporate" have not, so far, had any change. read more

I had one person in line ahead of me at 530 on a Friday evening. I overheard one lady helping her customer, and she was so accommodating and friendly. When it was my turn, another woman helped me. It was going to cost and arm and a leg to mail my package. She helped me for a good 20 minutes trying to repackage my item to save a few bucks. The FedEx driver never bothered to come up the driveway much less to my front door but I received an email that stated "We made a delivery attempt: 11/15/2022 05:38 PM. Delivery will be attempted again on the next business day." but I WAS HOME with all the lights on facing the street and all the lights on at the front porch waiting for the delivery! They never rang the door bell or left a note (which is expected) - they just failed to stop and lied about it. I am waiting for this package to get my vehicle repaired by a mobile mechanic. I called last night as soon as I got the email and Customer Support was "really sorry" but totally unhelpful because now the package is once again out for delivery with no timeframe other than before end of business day. I would just drive and get the package but wait - I have no working vehicle so I can't. This means my mobile mechanic cannot schedule a time and I will probably have to rent a car to attentd my medical appointments. I spoke with a FedEx Rep. last night but they said they cannot send the driver back and I would just have to wait again until tomorrow. So I called this morning to try to get a morning delivery but the FedEx phone tree only cuts you off and will not let you talk to a real person - so that sucks! I cannot be more frustrated and angry at FedEx's poor service and would NEVER use them by choice! read more

I came to this shipping center and the woman wasn't as rude as everyone else is saying but she had an aggressive attitude and I could tell if I complained to her about the driver she would just shut me down. this shipping office doesn't even have a phone number so It took me forever to even figure out if my package was actually there or not. i never want to use fedex again it was the most stressful process. I was home all day and the driver did not knock my door or ring the doorbell. he just taped a sloppy written slip to my door. I have 3 cars outside there was no reason for him to possibly believe no one was home?! it's not that hard to take 30 seconds out of your route to knock, have me sign and then be on your way. that's their job! i called FedEx corporate and they said they would tell the driver to come back to my house and attempt delivery again, they called me and told me he was in my neighborhood and to be ready to answer the door. I waited in front of the door for 30 mins and no one came. I called again and they told me he was not in my area anymore. they told me they would request him to come back AGAIN but he never showed up! I've called corporate 5 times today and it's hard to explain to them what's happening and they pretty much can't do anything about it but try to deliver over and over. they also can't even tell me what time the driver will possibly come and that's annoying because I can't sit by the door all day. Use USPS or UPS anytime before using FedEx!! I paid for an overnight envelope/document that I desperately needed immediately (obviously). Rather than bring the envelope to my door (a.k.a. deliver it), the driver left a "signature" required door tag in my mailbox down on the road. I've been going to FedEx on Ragsdale for a couple years... Each of the 3 women behind the counter has always been extremely helpful, gone out of their way to explore options, make recommendations, and offer suggestions if there was a toss up on options. Rarely if ever is there much wait time (compared to other shippers), and its always appreciated that they are efficient in handling issues, yet at the same time, will take the time necessary to make sure and handle one's needs to the extent necessary. It made it to my town but locally was unable to be delivered on time.I can't understand why they don't hire additional drivers when there especially busy. The worst experience, I was printing simple gift cards for my business and the first gentleman to "help" me had no idea how to combine images on adobe for front and back printing, when I came to pick the item back up it was correct and I paid. I just spoke with Tiffanie and she told me I had a remaining balance, after I had already paid and picked up my item. She proceeded to try and grill me about who it was I paid, I have two small kids and i'm running a business I have no idea what he looked like, he was the fex ex employee behind the counter. Worst service ever! I paid for 2day shipping. I tracked the package when it didn't show up, after seeing that the package was here in Monterey and "out for delivery" that morning and then back at the FedEx center that night I assumed it would definitely be here early on day 3. Confused as I was, by why they would put it on the truck to just drive around with it I decided to call. I was told "well, there's a lot of packages right now and you are last on the route so the driver couldn't make it." He then stated that it's again out for delivery and should be there no later than 6pm. Which doesn't help me seeing as though I need it for an event that starts at 5. I am trying to get a hold of the person that delivered a package to my house today because I want give them my gratitud and give them a gift card for being so awesome. I have a web cam and noticed that a previous delivery company left packages where they were going to get with rain coming today. Later on today, Fed Ex delivered and noticed it and moved the other packages from a different company towards the front door so they would not get wet. I have never done this, but the woman behind the fed ex counter ( service center, ryan ranch) has motivated me to speak out & put in writing how I was treated by her. I was going to leave this review regardless of whether there were any others and lo & behold... there are several with similar experiences to mine! Just plain rude from the get go- defensive immediately about fed ex screw ups, defensive about a "new driver" who couldn't seem to walk through a gate to knock on my door- instead drives around the peninsula with my package, stopping each day to see if she "sees me " for a signature... When she barked at me that she couldn't do anything about & couldn't help me with a second pkg not delivered, I asked her if I was indeed in a Fed Ex service center... that didn't go over very well- I then called it "pathetic" that I couldn't find out where my fed ex pkg was from the fed ex service center and walked away- she was still shouting things at me as I was walking out on to the side walk! Way to go Fed Ex- that is one loyal employee, but she should not be on the frontlines with us poor customers seeking assistance! read more

I had never been to a Fed Ex shipping center and I will definitely not be going to one again at least not the one in Lower Ragsdale. The person behind the counter ( picture Susie from Seinfeld) was so rude and abrupt. She asked me if I wanted my box shipped overnight. I said sure. After what took forever typing and typing away and asking me in a very loud voice what my name, address, and phone number was ( Hey, it's written right there on the box!) she charged me $112. Then as soon as she applied the damned sticker on my box, she tells me that in fact, it will not get there overnight but will arrive the next day. So I said then I should not be charged for the overnight fee. She looked at me with such disdain and said, "well you can change it if you want to". Of course I would. Why should I pay a huge fee for OVERNIGHT if it is not going to my destination OVERNIGHT?!! I overheard her tell the previous customer she was being flown out to someplace for training. Yea, she definitely needs training in the customer service department. Maybe they can teach her how to crack a freakin smile! read more
