After tracking bounced back and forth for a week, FedEx informed me that my package had been discovered at this location empty and missing contents. It was very well packaged by myself, the sender. Virtually impossible that the contents just slid out or was torn on a conveyorbelt etc. 600$ in value and I'm fucked because FedEx let's it's employees steal things here. (They even have a completely different way of contacting customers vs other distro fedex centers because probably people want to come and scream at them daily) It's not reasonable to expect to risk losing things by the shipping company via theft on their part. I assumed the package was large enough and packaged well enough to prevent damage. I never even thought of theft. The reviews for this station on Yelp and Reddit and other sites show FedExs overwhelming negligence and disregard to the situation. Do not use Fedex overnight delivery. A mortuary in San Leandro sent my father in law's death certificates to us utilizing Fedex "overnight mail" on Friday afternoon, 9/24/21. As of this morning at 10:00 A.M., 9/28/21, four days later, the certificates have still not arrived at our house in Manteca, 60 miles away! Per the Fedex tracking site, the certificates arrived in Stockton prior to 12:00 noon on Monday, 9/27/21. Their site now states that the certificates will be delivered by noon today, 9/28/21! Still waiting!!! Calls to Fedex produce nothing but automated responses that say nothing other than the package is in route. Really!!! In addition, the mortuary paid extra money, quite a bit more than normal, to get this terrible service. Then, you can't even talk to someone to complain or to get answers. So, for anyone wondering, forget using Fedex. The company sucks, obviously from the top to the bottom! Use UPS or the US Postal service. Much more reliable. I give Fedex Ground Tracy Ca 1 star only because I cannot give zero. I have a package that was shipped from Florida and is supposed to be delivered to Fremont Ca. The package took 3 days to go from Florida to Tracy Ca (Tracy Fedex station) it is now in it's 4th day sitting in Tracy and is not yet scheduled for delivery. I am told by an insider at the Tracy Fedex station that packages are sitting there for up to 2 weeks. The tracking information is also fake as last night July 7th at 9 pm the tracking stated it was tracked at 1:09 am July 8th. I guess Fedex can track into the future but cannot deliver packages. Mysteriously, a couple hours after writing this last review, my package reappeared in Tracy and headed to the next hub. The package showed up at my door over a week late, and appeared in okay shape, but upon inspection of the parts, I found that it had been dropped from at least shoulder-level and smashed the precision copper washers, rendering the part completely useless as Japanese made washers are not commonly available outside of a parts kit from Japan and using a China made washer would be a gamble worse than betting on if your items will make it through the Tracy FedEx facility and intact. That's not to mention that use of any other washer will completely void the warranty. FedEx Corporate's lack of oversight is going to sink this shipping ship, unless of course they work out a deal with our rulers to steal OUR dollars in the form of a bailout. Then again, maybe they will survive as they are part of the shipping triopoly and have worked with government to make it nearly impossible for any new shipping company to come along and take their place using honest business strategies. When I entered into the purchase contract for this part, I would've missed 3 days of work waiting for the part, but because of FedEx, now I have been out of work for over 2 weeks and will remain out of work until whenever they decide to deliver my replacement. This is why people are so enraged by large corporations. They literally care about us as much as a limousine liberal cares about the homeless they step over leaving their gated communities. I could've spent 150% of the price and bought the part locally, but trying to save money for Christmas ended up taking Christmas away from my family, all because of a lack of accountability for for FedEx employees. read more

All managers have favoritism, managers will say hurry hurry finish the trailer but there are many who are just standing not being told to help with other employees. They are very unorganized with everything . CAME TO pick my last paycheck & they said i have to come back at a different time but yet i have the voicemail where it says to be there 6-10AM & was told by HR i'm not sure why their giving oort the wrong info. SERIOUSLY??? THATS WHY I QUIT , also if you have an item that is brought to you by fedeex and is cracked example TV/ glass / anything might be broken it's because EMPLOYEES WHAT THEY DO WHEN UNLOADING TRAILERS , they THROW EVERYTHING all the boxes are thrown to the ground of the trailerr to plebe placed on the rollers so the managers could get their quote of how many trailers their employees have done , we're told to not throw the boxes only when upper management is not around . & they consistently move you around they don't give you a paper of your first day of your actual position. for that reason so you could be moved aroound & also on the first day of my interview we were told to come back that same night for ttraining , I asked why weren't we given a notice prior to ouur start date and right away the lady said are you reassigning the job offer ? seriously . do not waste your time with this company forgot to mention but they give you a list of phone numbers to contact & also a different number in case a family member needs to reach you & guess what .. FedEx is not doing the best they can in this new age we live in with shipments. Unfortunately I have a package sitting in the Tracy, Ca locations for 7 days, drove there to pick up the package and I was told I couldn't get my package because they are investigating why it wasn't delivered. The only way a corporation like this is going to change is to do what the top management understands, stop using them to ship packages. Take the money away from them and they will change their ways, sell of their stocks and use another carrier they will get the message. FedEx has always been less than impressive prior to the pandemic and now they use it as a escape. Folks people use the pandemic to be mediocre and lazy with no regard to the most important thing their customers. A lot of consumer businesses are going out of businesses to the blatant disregard of companies like FedEx. FedEx is the absolute worst company to ship a package through. This entire year, I have not received a package from them on time, once. In fact, I have yet to receive one in fewer than 9 days. The just hold it in Sacramento, then hold it in Tracy for three or four days. I'm sure they won't take any responsibility, and blame CoVID-19, which has become the go-to excuse for general incompetence in 2020, but UPS hasn't slowed down at all, nor has the USPS or On-Trak. Get your shit together, FedEx. I have begun refusing to purchase from places who do not offer a different carrier. If you want your packages delivered on time or, in some cases, at all, don't let your sender use them. FedEx freight is even worse! Absolute Garbage, and the driver who does deliver is a complete prick. He's rude and seems annoyed to have to do the job. I recently called the FedEx customer service regarding a package that was supposed to be delivered on Aug 2, due to the fact that it had not been delivered had there had been no update in a week. When I spoke to customer service rep the first time they opened a ticket for me. I called back after hearing nothing, and was told by the 2nd rep I spoke to that the person who was in-charge of my ticket wouldn't speak to me and she told him to tell me what was going on with my package. Again he told me what I already knew. When I escalated it to a supervisor, Chris on the customer advocate team.Chris told me that there was no way to tell me when I would be getting my package as it was sitting in a trailer somewhere at the Tracy distribution center. When I asked if I could pick it up, Chris told me no. When I asked when I could expect my package to be delivered, Chris told there was no way of giving me that information as the Tracy center is extremely backed up and there are 1,000's of trailers that are just sitting there that need to to be unpacked. It could be a few days to who knows when, it all depends on when they unpack the trailer that my package is on. When I asked why nothing was being done to get the packages off the trailers, I was told again that they were backed up and I would get my package when I got it. And that those that used it were aware of them begin backed up everywhere and there was nothing that could be done by anyone.
