Since my scathing 1 star review on Sept 13, 2021 I have had two more packages routed through this FEDEX depot. And amazingly both times the package transit through this hub was quick. I use the SMS package tracking option to stay informed of my package route. The one delivered this morning literally spent less than one hour in Tracy. That must b a speed record. Has a new depot manager been hired who is an effective leader? Is my satisfactory experience today just a blip? Time will tell as all merchandise that I buy from east coast retailers seems to get routed through Tracy. I'll keep you informed about future experiences. read more

HORRIBLE service from this Tracy fedex warehouse and FedEx customer service as a whole. THREE days in a row now FedEx states they "Attempted to Deliver" my package, but I was there each and every time they tried. The first two times, the driver takes a picture of our apartment gate, the third time, the driver comes inside the gate and takes a picture of the front office for some reason. It's Sunday, OBVIOUSLY the front office is closed. They never tried to take it up the stairs to my door/apt unit... I called customer service each time they Attempted to deliver and verified that the correct address WITH apartment number was on there and instructions to get passed the gate. They said they would leave a message with the driver, but of course the driver could care less. After the third time, they say they cannot even reroute it to a FedEx pick up area for me to get it myself since it's a FedEx ground package, WHAT!? They also said they can't do anything about it and to contact the shipper, but the shipper can't even contact fedex to make any changes/adjustment to the shipping either. So I guess I'm just out of luck and the lazy thief working at fedex just keeps to keep the shoes I ordered since this obviously will not be delivered if the driver can't be bothered to go up the stairs to my door even after getting in the gate... This is totally unacceptable and I will be filing a complaint and doing a charge back. read more

Package made it across the country without issue and then went to tracy (about 4 hours driving time from final destination). I would have expected it to show up at my local center within a day. However, in Tracy, it was scanned three times over two days (always still showing Tracy) and then stopped getting any updates. Just searching for the center I came across a mountain of complaints about this hub. FedEx has some serious problems here. Hopefully they are monitoring and address it because this sort of thing tends to be a precursor to the end of a business. read more

First I had shades being delivered via fedex that arrived at the Tracy warehouse. I was scheduled to get it the next day and planned for installation. The next day fedex ships my package to Sparks, Nevada for whatever reason. Then I have to wait several more days for them to get it right and have it circle back to California. Now I have a package that was shipped from SoCal and landed in Tracy, and again I was supposed to get the package the next day. Conveniently my package that I had rescheduled from yesterday to today (due to needing a signature) switched from a delivery of EOD today to delayed with no delivery date as of now... The switch of course made to the tracking after hours so that I can't get a hold of anyone to figure out how my package has just been sitting in Tracy since yesterday and I'm 15mins away. The whole purpose of changing for a signature is to actually be home. FedEx is consistently inconsistent, regardless of the warehouse it's coming out of... but Tracy has definitely been the worst. (I.e leaving over $15,000 worth of football equipment overnight outside of a school campus years ago due to delivering in a window specifically stated as one not to work.) read more

ZERO starts. I have fallen victim to the THIEVES who are employed at this Tracy warehouse. I ordered an expensive package through Wayfair. It was not delivered due to "damage". I reordered a replacement through Wayfair, was supposed to be delivered 5 days ago. When it arrived at the Tracy Warehouse the shipping label was "replaced" and all movement and tracking had stopped. I have called the office at the warehouse (every single day for 5 days) only to be told it's "missing" they can't find it anywhere. I even called corporate and my package simply cannot be found. BUT I HAVE FIGURED IT OUT!! If your items shipping label is replaced, it is to cover up the location of the package so that it can be removed from the warehouse to be resold. FedEx employs THIEVES. And these thieves steal packages. The whole thing is a scam. It's a whole group of them that are getting away with this. They are running the perfect scam. FedEx does NOTHING to look into our STOLEN items because they don't lose any money. We all get refunds from the seller. FedEx THIEVES get away with it over and over again. Even the office manager at Tracy warehouse said "I think you're right. I think that's what's happening" after I explained to her that I know EXACTLY what is going on. It's theft. read more

The Worst!!! Lazy drivers don't want to deliver packages so they mark the as business closed when it is clearly open. After 3 plus days of waiting for the package they send you a notification that you have to go to a pick location. Really??? And don't try to speak with a rep on the phone. Let's be frank.... since the first of January 2025, Fed Ex and UPS shipping From California, only California, our ordered packages have been stolen, lost or updating tracking does not work! The tracking issues alone are enough to stop buying products that go through California. It is California shipping from area that we have had major problems with delivery. They deserve no stars. This is the second time I had a delivery and they won't bring it upstairs. They didn't even care that I was in a wheelchair and can't bring my package upstairs. The man kept yelling at me in Spanish. I told him I don't speak Spanish. He said I no English. Then he just walked off mumbling to himself in Spanish. I had to call my son to come get the package upstairs for me. These people are the worst I've ever seen. They don't treat their customers well at all. I'm going to call and complain this time. I check my address multiple times and it's correct address call the seller to confirm my address was right! it's been 3 to 4 days in Fedex keep saying incorrect address I contacted the seller and everything is right, I don't understand why they can't deliver my package its 10 minutes away from my place. To say that this location is a joke would be an understatement. It is literally impossible for them to get anything shipped through there in any reasonable amount of time. No matter where the package is coming from, or where it's going, once it hits Tracy, it's gone. Customer service is a joke, their "solution" is wait a week past delivery date, and then file a lost package claim. Great, that doesn't help me get the thousands of dollars of merchandise I've ordered and actually need. It's pretty sad when a government agency, such as the USPS is more efficient than a private company. This location is a joke, whoever "manages" it needs to be fired, and it is a poor example for the entire company. 0 STAR. Reading all the reviews is making me more mad. The cake I ordered from S. California came 4 days later than the expected delivery date. Wtf?! How can they let the frozen cake sat on their warehouse over the weekend (8/15-8/17) plus another day (8/15-8/17) when my package arrived at their facility at 4am on Friday (8/14). They waited until Tuesday (8/18) to deliver it without giving any explanation why it was late. Of course the cake was inedible. The company I ordered was kind enough to re-ship another cake since we didn't get the cake on time and guess what? Same exact thing happened. The Tracy FedEx got the package on 8/21 and waited until 8/25 to deliver the package. Make it make sense? I don't think they are even making an effort to deliver our packages on time. I never thought I'd leave a bad review, but here it is. I DREAD seeing "Tracy" in any of my FedEx shipping details. My heart sinks to my belly and I wanna cry, because it means my stuff /is/ going to be delayed. I've never had an item come through this facility that wasn't delayed, and I don't know anyone who's had their stuff delivered on time through Tracy. I've had packages delivered just fine if they come from another direction and go through another FedEx office, but for whatever reason they just seem to get stuck in Tracy. I try to stay optimistic and hope that the Scheduled Delivery Date will remain "on time", but of course it changes to "pending" by the end of the day once it hits Tracy. This happened to me today, and the packages I need to sign for have suddenly been delayed. I need to sign for these packages and I can't risk having them left on my doorstep, so waving the signing is out of the question. Now I just have to pray and cross my fingers that they're able to be delivered on a day I'm home, and not some random day two weeks from now. I wish there was a way to get this changed. Clearly no one is listening and nothing is being done about this facility. It's been like this for years and packages are delayed without fail. I had tried to call the 1800 # I held on hold for 1 hour and gave up. My package is now "pending" with no expected delivery date. Lots of morons working here. Should not take a week to process/route a package. Take some notes from UPS, they don't let a package sit in a routing center for more than 24 hours. Thankfully I don't live anywhere near California, so it's rare that I see the dreaded "Tracy" on my tracking info. I ordered a patio set via Wayfair and it was shipped via FedEx. 2/3 packages made it through Newark, CA, no problem. Somehow the 3rd package got split up and went to Tracy, CA. From there, it was marked delayed for a week now. Opened up a case, called the customer service daily, and now just got an email that it has been lost. How the f*** do you lose 70" box? After reading many reviews here, I'm a believer that this hub is certainly a black hole and thieves work here. The tracking number said they delivered my package to the front door. There is no package at my door nor did a delivery driver ever drive down my street according to my cameras. I have called multiple times to find my package and they tell me I have to contact the shipper to put in the report. I as the receive should not have to chase down any information or contact anyone else as FedEx is the one who lost/stolen the package. For whatever reason FedEx doesn't seem to care about reliable, smooth customer service and I wouldn't recommend anyone use FedEx. FedEx has become the absolute worst package service ever. In late September, I placed an order through Walmart. They shipped through FedEx. I gave Walmart the physical address of my post office. I do that regularly because of mail and package theft. They kept showing it in Tracy, then on the truck, then a delivery exception, then in Tracy, ad nauseum. Finally someone called. We decided I would pick it up the next day at the FedEx office in Stockton. I went there the next day. No package. The people that worked there looked for it and said it wasn't there. So I contacted Walmart and they reshipped the order. About a month later, I got a message from FedEx saying they were returning the package since I didn't pick it up. WHAT?!?!?! Seriously. Walmart was even a bit confused by it. Fast forward I placed another order from Walmart. Again they shipped it FedEx ground. Guess what? Yup, you got it. It's been in Tracy, on truck, delivery exception, etc. I'm not even getting a call from their warehouse to try to resolve this problem. One more time, I'm asking Walmart to not use this carrier when shipping my products. They are beyond incompetent. read more

My package containing a custom surfboard "Departed the FedEx location" in Tracy over a week ago...I only live an hour away from there... It came from Oceanside where it went smoothly into and out of the facility (6 hours) and departed to Tracy. Once it arrived at Tracy, it took 36 hours to get loaded onto the truck to "depart". FEDEX should be responsible for reimbursement but they told me to file a claim or go back to mattress firm and take it up with them.
