The Tracy CA depot is terrible. Packages check in, but may never leave. FedEx customer service is zero help. I was promised an expediter and a call back almost a week ago -still nothing. The package is damaged and I have video footage from two separate cameras of the driver throwing my package while talking on his bluetooth. The absolute worst delivery hub of all. Every time I order something and I see it is being delivered by FedEx via the Tracy hub I just cringe and say oh no. Shipments arrive there and just sit, they show as out for delivery and don't arrive, they get delivered to the wrong address, etc. There were two issues with shipments to me just this week! In the last couple months I have placed two separate orders. One at Nike for a pair of Jordan shoes and one at Walmart for a 55" TV. Both were gifts for family. Both were lost at the Tracy, CA hub. We ordered a 55" TCL TV on a Black Friday deal from Walmart on 11/09/22. It arrived at the Tracy, CA hub on 11/16/2022 @5:20am and was supposed to be delivered that day. I received an email & text from FedEx stating so. That was the last communication I got from them. After speaking with multiple people again they're telling me it's lost. How do you just lose a 55" TV? It's not a small package. I would like to have it delivered. Since this TV is no longer available, buying a comparable TCL TV will cost me even more money. Both times that they've lost my packages, the representatives that contacted me were very nonchalant like it's no big deal. Good luck getting ahold of anybody at the hub. They never answer the phone. Contacting customer service at the 1-800 number is just as helpful. You get hung up on or put on hold and hung up on. FedEx ground in TRACY, CA has a horrible reputation. Hundreds of online consumer reviews have labeled FedEx ground in Tracy, CA the "graveyard", "abyss" and "black hole" for packages. Over the past 4 years all of my packages that go through this location is either delayed, damaged, or completely lost. I ordered something December 12th, it shipped on the 14th and everything was going smoothly until it got to the Tracy FEDEX destination. Fed Ex Ground Package System in Tracy, California has had some tough reviews. After reading these review and still having no sign of getting my package, I drove an hour to get to the Fed Ex Ground Package hub in Tracy. It was a good call, as I got the help I needed and was able to get my package. Some things you should know... 1) the streets around the Tracy Fed Ex hub are torn to shreds. There is a four mile detour just to get to a street that is open and can take you to the hub. 2) After I got there, the security guard showed me the door to go to (Package Pickup, just to the right of the employee entrance), and showed me how to work the speaker phone. 3) the Fed Ex employee that I spoke to was patient, and confirmed that my package had not in fact been placed on a delivery truck (which was the opposite of what both the Fed Ex web and on the telephone center had said). She asked me to wait and would call me when she found it. 4) 45 minutes later she found it, and (after confirming that it was going to me) handed over the package. So after a week of not being able to get through by phone or knowing when or if I was going to get my package, I was able to solve this by just going to the Tracy location. Folks, more people than ever are sending stuff via Fed Ex. Also, due to the pandemic, I'm sure that Fed Ex is understaffed. There are definitely some communication issues between this hub and Fed Ex customer service. However, I think they are doing the best that they can under the circumstances. read more

Packages that are routed through this facility are consistently late and rescheduled. I have had packages delivered up to 10-days late on off-peak seasons. You have to call to schedule a pickup, but you don't know this UNTIL you get to the pickup counter. UPDATE 12 24/20: I changed my review to three stars after emailing the CEO, Frederick Smith @ fwsmith@fedex.com, and the Executive Office called me in less than 24-hours and had my package ready for pickup. read more

The Tracy FedEx distribution center is 100% garbage. I know if I see a delivery arrive at that distribution center, that it's going to be delayed for at least a week. I spoke with customer service and they gave some lame excuse about how they get large freight orders which they prioritize over everything else (why exactly? She couldn't say), then she tried to change tactics to say they didn't have personnel available. Of course, magically the dates on their tracking website change once the package is delivered to make it seem like it was delivered after one day of arriving at the distribution center, even though it was there for a week. This has happened with the last SEVERAL packages I've had pass through the Tracy center. I don't have this problem with UPS or even the USPS. My son ordered a very expensive computer that was supposed to be delivered on August 1. After that date it showed delivery pending through August 5. No more information after that date. The company that we purchased the computer from filed a claim on August 10. FedEx finally got in the ball and finally delivered by the 12th as seen in the attached photo. Ok so just like all the other post about the terrible service at this facility I experienced the same thing. No one answered the phone for 3 weeks I made countless calls to customer service no one could tell me why my package was just sitting in Tracy. So I went to the Fed Ex facility and held up a sign asking for help i even offered $75. Cash to any employee willing to get my package out of there. After about 30 minutes of picketing 3 managers came out and within 2 hrs I had my package. So if you picket Fed ex you can get your stuff. Hope this was helpful read more

FedEx ground delivery service leaves much to be desired. If you are ordering something you actually really want and need, and especially something valuable, consider not ordering it if FedEx shipping is your only option. This place is very vague about when your delivery will get to you, and oftentimes they are a day or two later than their promised date. This is especially infuriating when you stay home all day because you need to sign for the package, and their tracking info is telling you it's coming and then, at the very end of the day, they inform you via their tracking page that it's been rescheduled for the NEXT day -- sometime by the "end of the day". I think they could and should do a lot better than this. EDIT: I did receive my computer a full day late and it was in good condition, so at least they do get it to you in one piece! read more

The theft rate at this location is outrages! High end products that are not packaged in plan boxes mysteriously disappear after they come off of the big truck and before they get to the belts. When you call FedEx they tell you it will be delivered the next business day. When it never shows up you are told to contact the shipper to file a claim. Nobody cares!
