Came in again and this time saw a roach run by. I had a last minute catering for about 50 people and Ali talked me through the whole process on what I should order and gave me great suggestions. I ended up getting beef shawarma wraps, chicken shawarma wraps, and falafel wraps and they were the best in town. Let me tell you, he loaded those wraps like he was making it for his own family. I give this place 7 stars out of 5. Five stars for the delicious food, and an extra two for the outstanding owner and staff. The wait time in line was quick, but due to the sheer amount of people eating today (Labor Day) the line was out the door. However the food came out in a reasonable amount of time given the situation. Honestly, after the first bite of food, the wait was irrelevant. We braved bringing our young one in a stroller out here and due to the immense support from the staff and other patrons, we were able to eat well and enjoy the incredibly flavorful food. Fatimas has delivered for nearly the last 4 years, we always get the hot cheetos carne asada fries and chicken kabob platter. The food was flavorful, and the portion sizes humongous, however it seemed as if they either changed the recipe from what it used to be, or was lacking that iconic Fatima's Flavor we were seeking. The chicken kabob platter, from what I remember, would come with 6-8 hefty pieces of chicken. Todays order came with ~2.5oz of flavorful well cooked chicken, but not much. The carne asada hot cheetos fries were missing the hot cheetos crunch and seemed skimped on just as the chicken in the kabob platter. While the food was good, there was a small part of something missing from the flavor. The food was good, but not as great as we had in the past. Drove all the way from Long Beach to try out this Instagram hit! The videos make everything look so incredible!!! Walked up to the door a d looked in. They are not allowing seating inside and since it's so hot outside (even in a shaded tent) we elected to take ours home. There were two tables guarding from walking all the way in. One with a cash register and the other with a ToGo orders ready for pick up. It took us about 25 minutes to get there so I knew it wouldn't be as great by the time we got home, but again by the look of videos on IG I felt I would LOVE IT none the less. They don't have a menu inside, but the gentleman let us know there was a menu on the wall outside next to the doorway. We looked and I already kinda knew what I wanted, but didn't see it. I asked him if they still made nachos and he said he'd check. He said they normally only do nachos in the morning. I didn't ask why, but he did say they could make nachos so I ordered loaded nachos with birria meat. I also asked for jalapeños to which I was told it will have all the salsas and jalapeños. My boyfriend got the OMG burger without cheese. We waited for about 15 to 20 minutes. I was super thirsty and wanted a an adult beverage but since they didn't have any I elected to go next door to most likely a competitor restaurant that I will def have to come back to try called Fonda Maria. I got a michelada to go and omg it was freekin perfect!!! Soooo good! Anywho while I was next door craving a drink my bf got the food. When we got home 25 mins later I quickly dug in. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 because I would have loved if they had maybe asked how far I'd travel because the nachos would quickly turn to a casserole dish. It was so loaded with juicy birria (tasty meat) beans, a ton of cheese, sauces, with only a few chips that it was hard to decipher what actually was a tortilla chip. I ended up just eating a few bites while digging around liking for my chips. Also had maybe 5 sliced pickled jalapeños that were bot spicy at all, which is fine but 5? Really? Also revived only one small green salsa and some chipotle cream sauce. I like spicy and I LOVE jalapeños. I'm not sure what the green salsa was but it's not spicy at all. It was probably 3 lbs of food in a ToGo container that I'm going to use with some of my tortillas at home. Unfortunately mine I feel was on the borderline of inedible. We also got an order of birria tacos and I can tell they are not one but crispy so I will need to fry them up a bit more before we have these for dinner... along with my leftovers. I was so excited for this place to be amazing... but it was still just alright. Should definitely offer more salsa, and when someone ask for jalapeños hey see if maybe they want extra? Also chips w nachos or shoot maybe even w many of the ToGo orders just recommend something in particular. They definitely give ya plenty of food but fifty something for soggy nachos, a burger and 3 tacos? I wanted something kinda light. The photos on the site made it look so fresh and perfectly proportioned. (I usually prefer my nachos one by one topped with ingredients. Evenly topped.) Hands down...simply some of the best Mediterranean food I've had in a loooong time. I ordered the three meat platter, Chicken Schwarma platter, and a taco de lengua. Let's start with the taco. The lengua was tender and seasoned great. Served on a tasty corn tortilla and a nice sized portion. The three meat platter is to die for. I wanted to try it and taste a variety of what they had to offer. The platter portions are huge ,the meat was so flavorful and fresh. The hummus was delicious as was the side salad that was given.
