I came to the casino specifically to eat at this restaurant. I've been wanting to try some of their menu items for awhile and there are not many convenient locations. I was amazed to see the whole casino location appears to have been remodeled since my last visit years ago, this spot is located next to a waterfall with a koi pond. It's a nice place to have lunch and right near the entrance if you just want to run in and grab it to go. If you're not into burgers, there's an Asian place right next to it. Prices here are high, but I appreciate that they have vegan options. I had the impossible chicken nuggets. If I was closer I would come back and try the burger. I do wish they had a vegan sauce option to go with the nuggets. I do see they have a vegan cheese option to go on the burger. The fries were tasty. My partner enjoyed his burger, although he complained it was messy (he always does). What we both agree was the stand out item was our vegan milkshake, this was very expensive (10$) but so good. We had the banana flavor. It came with vegan whipped cream (which I was very impressed by and even more impressed when I watched the person making it remember he needed to use the vegan whip cream). It would be nice if they posted the price of this item somewhere so you could view it ahead of time and decide if it's worth it, after tasting it, it might be. I was accidentally given the wrong milkshake first, belonging to another customer. When I brought it back I was a little dismayed to see the person behind the counter still gave it to the other person. Decided to try out Fatburger. We went all out with XXL's with fries etc. if you get the double x be prepared to put in some work. It's huge. Just be aware the bun will give up before you do. Ordering is easy. There's even pictures. The meat was seasoned nicely but the lettuce and tomato made things slippery. I had to take out the tomatoes and some lettuce. The whole thing stuffed me. The soda situation is dismal. They give you a small cup with the meal and no refill. The soda fountain is behind the counter so there is no self service. I could have used a second cup but I'm not going to buy a second beverage for almost $3. That aspect of my visit kept this review from five stars. Still in all Fatburger is pretty good. read more

This fast food restaurant I think is better than most more common one like McDonald's, or Subway. The food is okay and they give you an option for a 1 1/2 burger which is INSANE but the burger is good but the bun is pretty grainy and I asked for a few things out of the burger that were still put in. On my quest for the best burger in the Bellingham region, I decided to stop at the west coast classic, Fatburger. This location is located in the Swinomish Casino, so while its technically fast food, it does involve a little effort to get to. The food court is spacious and clean, no issues there. The location was moderately busy on a Saturday night and the employees were taking orders and moving the line along with ease! We ordered a double cheese burger and sweet potatoes fries to split, I believe it was around $12- pricey for fast food but not totally unreasonable for the size. They must have forgotten my order because many people came and went and our order still hadn't come up. They eventually realized they missed us and had my food up in a jiffy after that. The moment of truth..... I took a large bite and noticed right away how hot and soft the bun was, god I love warm buns! I took another bite, this time focusing on things other than the bun AND it was good... Not great, not the best, but not the worst. Nothing totally remarkable at all. We drove a ways, it is worth the trip. We ordered an XXL combo with bacon and American cheese, with the "fat fries" which are steak fries. The head cook was a pro, our double patty , one pound burger was seared to perfection and He made it perfect. Our food came within 5 minutes and we split it between two people and it was plenty. The flavor is juicy and delicious and it is as fresh and hot as you can get it, fresh ground beef and toppings were stacked up and it was double wrapped and cut in two. Fries were crispy and delicious, this was easily a 4 star burger. The cook asked how everything was and We were impressed, this is the best burger in the area hands down. I cannot wait to go back. That is way too much for two people to eat two ordinary burgers and two ordinary things of fries. Tastes just like fast food burgers. Not a good restaurant for the price.
