New place, young staff giving it 110% My first time here. I had the double-meat burger, onion rings also tried a small order of cheese fries. 1. The burger was decent. reminiscent of the burgers you would get at MooYahs or a Fiveguys. Just a good burger. 2. Onion rings were tasty. not with my favorite batter (flaky bear batter is my fav.) but they had good flavor. 3. Cheese fries, wellllll not my favorite. it was the usual melty cheese; you know like the stuff they put on chips at the ballpark? but the fries themselves were crispy and hot. So, overall, not bad. The atmosphere was nice, and everything was very clean and shiny. The music was a bit loud, but that may just be me. Their pricing is along the same line as the others I mentioned, (which it still bothers me when I am asked to pay 20 bucks for a meal with a burger. When I was a kid, burgers were 50 cents at MickyD's) I think they need a bit more time to work out the whole order taking/prep/deliver process, but they were trying. This place is pretty hidden and it can missed if you don't pay attention. The restaurant is fairly new, and it has only been open for four weeks. It's pretty clean, and organized. We got the regular 9 inch Fat Shack which is the most popular sandwich. They have different sizes for the sandwiches from small, regular, and large. The regular size fat shack was $14.49. We got the 12 piece wings, 6 Buffalo, and 6 Garlic parm for $18.99. The sauces are .65 cents each. They should mention that it's an extra charge. The food was a bit pricy. The sandwich was pretty heavy, and the sauce was decent. I wanted the sauce on the side but they couldn't do that. It was a bit too much sauce which made the fries and everything else in the sandwich soggy. The wings were pretty good, and I liked the flavors. They open late. I got the appetizers in a timely manner and munched on those while the rest of the food came out. There seemed to have been a line of a few people waiting to order or pick up. I saw some reviews that there is a long wait time. There were only two people and it seemed like they were trying their best to keep up with orders. I got my food within 20-30 minutes, which is not too bad of a wait. The food was brought out to our table, so we didn't have to get up. The food was actually really good. The fries were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The jalapeño poppers were good also. They was a good amount of cream inside and were fresh out of the grease.
