I ordered the half Doobie.I have no idea who came up this creation which consists of chicken fingers,french fries, mozzarella sticks,and buffalo ranch.It look messy but a really good sandwich.The menu is very unique.One of my favorite go to spots in the area.A plus is they open late Su-T until 1am and F-Sat until 3am.

As anyone can see from the owner's (untimely) response, they really don't give a damn here. -- Someone else recently reviewed their dry overpriced wings, and her response did not address the restaurant's shortcomings, rather she suggested to come on a day of the week when wings are cheaper. I presume that this place is losing money and will not be open for long.

1-10 on the Wings ( JUST HORRIBLE ) 3-10 on the sandwiches, neeeeeedd to do better!!

Came here at the suggestion of my nephew. However, from where I was, this was a 45 minute drive to get here. I was not pleased about this drive. However, after tasting their French fries, I was pleasantly surprised. They were fresh and very good with nice crisp on the outside. Sorry no pictures I ate them to fast... Service was a bit slow, which I don't mind for the freshness of my food. The ambiance was casual and steady. So if you're out that way give them a try. Oh! It may be just me, but I didn't know Golden Barbecue sauce was bbq sauce and honey mustard.‍ So, that was my sauce choice for my wings. They were delicious!!!

I recently discovered that Fat Shack opened a location in the Clear Lake area. I had seen them on Travel Channel and Shark Tank so I wanted to give them a try. I'm a sandwich fanatic so this seemed right up my alley. This location is located in a somewhat busy shopping center. When I arrived there was just two tables of customers. It took a minute for anyone to address me and then I noticed a buzzer to let them know someone was at the counter. The young gentleman who helped me was friendly and helpful in making a selection. They offer a variety of items like typical appetizers, burgers, wings and cheesesteaks. Their claim to fame is the Fat sandwiches which are creations piled high with multiple ingredients. Most all them contain fries and mozzarella sticks along with a couple of proteins. I wasn't in the mood for beef so I went with a Regular Fat Gorbies. It contained chicken tendies, bacon, fries, lettuce and ranch. Kinda basic compared to the other sandwiches, but it sounded delicious nonetheless. Without thinking I made it a combo which came with fries and a drink. The fries weren't necessary since the sandwich is piled high with it, which brings me to my next point. The fries were battered and plentiful in the sandwich. It was almost overkill. If you look at my pic of the food, you will see a little sliver of a chicken tender. The meat to topping ratio was way off. It was like eating a French fry sandwich. It didn't taste bad, but I paid a little over 20 bucks with tip and felt I didn't get my money's worth. I ended up searching for the meat and wasting half the sandwich. Be prepared for a wait. Everyone's orders took awhile. I believe there were only a couple of people working and it is made to order. My first experience was so so, not sure I'll be craving this again. Not writing it off either though.

Really fun idea here! 1000% food you would eat after a doobie. It's a family owned (parents and kids working here, which I loved) business which is really a drive to come back and visit. They've been open about a year so they are in the groove of things. We had a bacon cheeseburger, sweet heat bbq wings, a fat jersey, and an order of jalapeño poppers. All of it tasted like something you'd throw in the oven at home after getting high. Unfortunately, albeit the wings were massive (like full size chicken strips), they were super cold and drenched in sauce so we didn't take more than a bite each. The sandwich was massive also and probably something that could be shared. The onion rings were for sure better than the cheese fries but we did like both. The ranch is similar to BWW. In fact, I would rate a lot of the food similar to BWW. Overall, it wasn't my favorite place but my husband who is a junk food lover enjoyed it. I was shocked he could only eat half the sandwich. With 2 drinks we spent $75. Business owner really seems to care about her audience and customers so I have no doubt they are doing their best to improve continually.

This place is pretty hidden and it can missed if you don't pay attention. The restaurant is fairly new, and it has only been open for four weeks. It's pretty clean, and organized. We got the regular 9 inch Fat Shack which is the most popular sandwich. They have different sizes for the sandwiches from small, regular, and large. The regular size fat shack was $14.49. We got the 12 piece wings, 6 Buffalo, and 6 Garlic parm for $18.99. The sauces are .65 cents each. They should mention that it's an extra charge. The food was a bit pricy. The sandwich was pretty heavy, and the sauce was decent. I wanted the sauce on the side but they couldn't do that. It was a bit too much sauce which made the fries and everything else in the sandwich soggy. The wings were pretty good, and I liked the flavors. They open late. I ordered the Angus Burger 5 stars With a side of onion rings with a vanilla milkshake the milkshake was so good! And the food was so fresh the burger was nice and hot! The onion rings were perfectly crispy! I got to try their lemon pepper Buffalo wings with cheese fries! AGAIN. 5 ! My burger was good I added Mac and cheese I feel like it lacked flavor, fries were nice and crunchy. The fried Oreos were amazing. I searched a new place to go eat at and this location popped up. I saw that it was featured on the Travel channel and decided to give it a try. When walking in, it seemed pretty clean. You have to go to the counter to order your food. Catherine took my order and let us know about the wait time. I got the appetizers in a timely manner and munched on those while the rest of the food came out. There seemed to have been a line of a few people waiting to order or pick up. I saw some reviews that there is a long wait time. There were only two people and it seemed like they were trying their best to keep up with orders. I got my food within 20-30 minutes, which is not too bad of a wait. The food was brought out to our table, so we didn't have to get up. The food was actually really good. The fries were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The jalapeño poppers were good also. They was a good amount of cream inside and were fresh out of the grease. I got the single angus burger with everything. I couldn't even finish all of my food because I was stuffed. I will return for sure and try something new from what I had. Worst spot in the H went in there stoned to the bone and came out with a single sandwich and a regular order of onion rings for $25 bucks... got home to taste the food with no damn flavor almost like it had no seasoning food was made with no love friends and I sadly threw the food away due to it killing our appetite...DONT RECOMMEND GOING!! read more

Was not busy on a Wednesday morning 11:30 AM popped in and was greeted and seated immediately. The waiter took our drink order on the spot. We kept this first visit pretty simple wife got a cheeseburger, plain and dry as she always does with a side order of tater tots. I went with the old-fashioned cheeseburger all the way and added bacon, and my side order was the thin onion rings. Everything came out fantastic and fast. The tater tots were cooked exactly like I like super crispy. I rarely eat tater tots out because not every restaurant cooks them properly. The thin onion rings were fantastic. Had a very nice little flavor to the batter came out hot and crisp. What I like the most about the burgers were the buns. Almost a buttery texture to them and they did not fall apart like you get on some burgers. The wife got a strawberry shake to go, and it was insanely rich. It was a meal in itself. We will definitely be back again soon to go a little deeper into the menu. I hear that their chili dog is fantastic. That's what I'm gonna try next week. My wife got her favorite, the Old Fashioned Cheeseburger. I got adventurous and chose the Razz Burger. Wow!!! I have never had a burger with this flavor profile. Razz Burger - Beef patty, topped with razzberry sauce, cream cheese, jalapeno slices, shredded lettuce and mayo. If you want a burger and you're feeling adventurous try them out. So many different options including Buffalo wings, salads, and several different options for sides. Oh! and the desserts are next level.

I love the clubs - but this was like being in a club during brunch. Hygiene - The hostess at the front desk station was on her phone the entire 55 minutes we were waiting. When I asked her if I could get a Bloody Mary to save me from boredom during the wait - she told me to hang on. Then she sat on her phone and talked and texted for another 5 minutes or so. My wife dropped a pair of tongs on the floor from the Bloody Mary bar. Another lady picked them up, and told the lady behind the station that it had fallen on the floor. She didn't wash it - she just stuck them back in the jar where people are grabbing the food for their Bloody Marys. In hindsight - I don't know if I would have taken advantage of the endless toppings on the bloody Mary bar.

We stayed at a hotel in Webster the night before our cruise and decided to eat at Fat Shack because of the great reviews, proximity to our hotel, and the fact that it had food all four of us would eat (picky eaters, IFKYK). When we arrived around 5:15pm, it was completely empty, which kind of worried me. However, after we received our food, we were all pleasantly surprised. It was fresh and DELICIOUS! We ordered Fat Chance, Fat Cow, a cheeseburger, cheeseburger, onion rings, and fries. All four of us loved the food, which is practically unheard of. The guy who took our order (I wish I could remember his name) was very nice, answered our questions, and interacted with us throughout our visit. I recently dined at the local restaurant, and I must say, I was impressed with their service. The staff was friendly, making our dining experience enjoyable from the start. As for the food, I couldn't resist trying their cheesy burger, and it was a tastey! Food is the best in Texas, wouldn't go no where else. The service is really fast, it took no longer than 10 minutes after sitting down to get served. Would highly recommend to get the classic burger if you are hungry but not to hungry! Associate is very respectable and very polite. They even offer 3 free Oreo balls for just a review on yelp. First time here. Had a classic burger and 6 naked wings. The burger meat was fresh and cooked perfectly. Only issue, (my issue, not theirs), was the burger sauce was mustard based. However, after looking at the review I nearly two years ago, the price is the same which is astonishing to me. Like before, the burger really just hit the spot. You can tell its quality ingredients and made right without any frills. The fries were great as well. Shoutout to whoever was cooking today at around 2:30 PM on April 10th, 2025. Service was quick and prompt. I'll continue to make Bases a necessary stop anytime I'm in town.
