I was invited from the north side to this place. I'm familiar with Scout Bar and make the drive when I think it's worth it. Friends invited me out for a Sunday night karaoke, from the door guy to the rest of the staff, I felt passive aggression but felt like I could write it off due to my anxiety. I was more right than I thought. My friends and I sit at the booth and realize the music happening featured the live vocals of a karaoke singer. We were impressed and were laughing about our surprise. The KJ walks up to us and tells us almost verbatim "if yall are gonna be yelling, do it somewhere else because it's disrespectful to the singer" like we're watching a Michael Jackson kill a rob zombie song when it was okay at fkn best. The singer gets off the stage, looks at us and says "thanks for the applause." I said "hey I think your song was great," immediately responded with "yeah, whatever," to which I said "hey man I'm tryin to tell you we liked your song, why is that an issue?" The bartenders seem hostage, we ended up leaving fast after the fact. I was side eyed for asking for a tequila shot, the only one I ordered tonight. My friend ordered tacos and the shredded cheese on top made Taco Bell look like a Michelin. I've never stepped foot upstairs despite going to scout bar for shows for years, and I only regret I did this one time. If I could leave no stars, reader, I'd pay this website to be able to do it. *PS*, if you're gonna hold the microphone to host karaoke, stop calling your participants assholes before they tell you to hold a mirror up to yourself, you sound like a jackass. read more

Came here to grub and chug before my friend's band's show downstairs at Scout Bar. I didn't know it was a new place until I saw the reviews for it. I ordered the chicken tenders basket and lemon pepper wings. Both were very tasty and filling for bar food. Each entree came hot and crispy as well. And the fries -- so good to the point ketchup is unnecessary. All these were served by the lovely Ana. This place is perfect if you want to catch a game because it features a whole wall of TVs. For what it's worth, the multitude of screens in one spot was one of the things Back to the Future got right. As I was leaving, I noticed the game area had an Aerosmith and KISS pinball machines. Horrible staff and overall trashy place. I rejected a drink from some guy, to which my partner and his brother also attempted to shoo the guy off. He pulled out a BOX CUTTER and threatened them with it. The staff caught wind of this but told us all to leave, as well as me and my boyfriend who did nothing wrong at all. This was my first time here at bones and when I first showed up it was actually very calm and good vibes to say the least... However as the night progressed and more people started showing up it got a little bit hostel Towards the end of everything and especially when I was leaving I was ridiculed and made fun of because I tried to say goodbye to the staff, which is very unprofessional but to each is own. I'm sure this establishment is well-off but the staff needs to not be so full of themselves,we're all human beings and no one is better than anybody else thank you. Cool bartenders. dj was playing some cool remix's from hip hop, techno and dance. Good crowd and mix of single men and women. If you want to smoke or vape have to use balcony. New business opened up above scout bar ( a concert venue favorite for South Houston) that has pool tables, golden tee, big buck hunter, and a classic arcade upright. They even have a KISS pinball machine! Dance floor and stage means also a night life for anyone wanting to get to a concert early. Would give 0 Stars if I could. Tried attending an event there today for a friend but apparently their elevator is broken. As a person who uses a wheelchair, nothing is more disabling then being denied access. BTW elevator has been out for some time , therefore management sending the message that my business isn't welcomed or a priority. read more

This place is located above the Scout Bar and is a great option for bar food, beer and cocktails. They also have pool tables, video games and a dance floor, so there is simply no way you can get bored here. We did not partake of the food, but the drinks are good. I enjoyed coming here Monday night. The venue is fairly large, huge beer selection (and the electronic drink menu is very convenient). There was a decent crowd for a Monday night as it was "open mic night." We enjoyed people watching and sipping our $1.50 shock tops! read more

This place has a lot of potential. The food isn't great its OK (you know its bar food). I like that they have pool tables available and a dance floor but the dance floor never gets used as they are always having a Mario tournament. The worst thing about this place is the management. The managers name is Michelle and she has the worst rbf(if you know what that means) like all the time and that's probably why this place doesn't get busy. This place needs an outgoing happy manager and some cute outgoing bartenders and maybe someone who knows how to do a better job at promoting to get this place poppin!!! read more

Their website shows they are open from 11am-2am. Turns out they dont open til 5. We showed up at 4:58 WITH the owner and bartenders. Then we get in, noone waits on us, waitresses dont show up til 6 and the kitchen doesnt open til 6. Terrible experience. Didnt even stay 30 minutes read more

I watched the Stroz win the World Series here! Amazing staff and really good food and drinks at a reasonable price. The Cajun dry rub wings are my favorite. I also like the buffalo medium wings too. Drink specials for games. Multiple TVs, pool tables, paper view fights. My favorite spot to go to in the Clearlake area. read more

Nice beer selection for craft beer lovers and most menu items we selected were very tasty including the burgers and nachos. Not a fan of them holding both my credit card AND drivers license to keep an open tab. Also the constant club music being played during our visit made me wonder what identity the place is really aiming for. I will give this a zero stars . I had 1 drink at a piano bar downstairs and first wouldn't let me in then wouldn't serve me due to saying I was too mess up . Personally seen other people at the bar drunk and still served. But the treated me like it was a privilege just that I got in . Only reason i stayed was because of family members of a different race . This place is racist and wouldn't let my 40 year old clean shaven wear polo shirt and jeans in due to looking messed up or high. 0 stars would be much more appropriate. No longer Pub Level, it is some new s***hole owned by Scout bar. Service is bad, as always. A single personal sized pizza takes over 40 minutes to be cooked "because the oven is small and it takes longer to cook"....which scientifically makes no sense and the bartender was trying to cover her mistake because she forgot to punch it in. There is a beautiful wall of beers on tap, which seemingly half are not available and kegs are empty. The staff is rude unless you are a typical Scout bar patron. How this location consistently finds the most garbage workers is almost impressive. read more

First let me start by saying I'm a bar/restaurant owner from the area, and nothing gets our attention like a bad Yelp. Last night I invited my employees out for a drink and we chose your establishment to patronage for the evening having been there before I enjoyed myself on previous occasions but last night left a bad taste in my mouth. First we were seated at a table we were drinking shots and cocktails the black gentlemen who was with us orders another beer and was told he had to pay first before the waitress would bring the beer. ODD, considering the white young lady at the table with us was ordering shots and they were brought without question of payment first. So after I left the white young lady had prepaid for a shot before she left for one or the other young ladies. Which she was not served because she was believed to be intoxicated which is your rite to believe but the money was not returned which was a small amount but it was the principle of it also the Mgr was rude and made racial remarks to the black young lady about her lisp and that's how (Y'all ) talk. This is unacceptable so basically we will not return and I'm going to discourage anyone from patronizing your business because your Mgr felt it was acceptable to make racist comments good day !!! read more
