Good place with both classic and more creative American entrees and drinks. It's a typical American semi-sports-bar type of ambiance but it's not throwing TVs in your face nor is it loud. Okay so I can't remember the last time I went to BJs but my husband's family wanted to eat there so we went. I was so impressed with the food and the service. Our waiter was Jayden and was absolutely amazing. Always had a smile and positive attitude, gave our great recommendations, and had our waters filled. My husband split the baby rack ribs and they portioned out everything for us on two separate plates. Very thoughtful. The baby back ribs were amazing. I'm still thinking about it! The brussel sprouts and loaded baked potato were solid too. I enjoyed every appetizer we tried. The mozzarella sticks is everything I'm looking for in a mozzarella stick. Crispy, and a beautiful cheese pull, and tasty. Clamari was perfect and so the fried Mac and cheese balls were good. Chicken wings juicy and flavorful. I was so impressed that I came back the next day to try the prime rib that is only served on weekends. We were lucky enough to have Jayden as our server again. The prime rib comes with a soup or salad and a poozokie and Jayden recommended the tomato salad which *chef kiss* fantastic. Loved every bite. We did tell him we were planning to share the prime rib like we did yesterday and two bowls of salad was brought to us. We didn't question it and happily enjoyed. That's when the manager came in and told us quite rudely I might mention (did not introduce herself) that she would have to charge us for two salads and tbh her whole attitude really took us back. We said okay, but we do feel that's a conversation she should have had with her server and not us cause our only intention was to share the prime rib and everything else not to order an extra portion. (me and my husband share a lot of our plates when going out). Our server did apologize about it and again I want to emphasize Jayden was amazing and if I can be honest most of the staff are very friendly and nice with big smiles. I can tell the work culture for the most part is very nice! But that manager could really take notes on customer service. The whole interaction really ruined our night. Jayden packed our pazookie to go and side note all the food at BJs was great except the prime rib. 100% recommend you order the baby back ribs instead. It's hard to make a really good prime rib though so I don't blame them. Mash potatoes and asparagus was great. Overall I'm knocking down a star because of the manager experience but the food was excellent and staff was great. Im a little hesitant in coming back again so soon because of the manager. She really did put me and my husband in a bad mood. I just can't get over "just know you can't split the salad so you have to pay for that" as the first thing she said to us with no introduction or greetings. Very disappointed with the service we received. We came in for drinks and dessert and ended up being there for over an hour with barely any attention from our server. She told us they were out of vanilla ice cream, yet we later saw other customers being served vanilla ice cream after we had already ordered. Our drinks were never refilled. Absolutely love this place! The food they offer is diverse and amazing! Always fast ticket times and high quality and willingness to fix anything wrong. I frequent this spot very very often with my friends after a long day and the servers (Blake and Gus) are some of the best servers I have ever had the pleasure of serving me. Unfortunately the servers/hostesses had an incredibly poor attitude. On entering I was not given any kind of service, and had to call on their attention for any kind of help. On seating, they were very inattentive and did not communicate well with times of food delivery and taking the orders in the first place. This place is Trash. The absolute worst representation of a BJs Brewhouse. Never in my 20+ years of dining or drinking at a BJs have I ever been utterly disgusted and disappointed. The people, the place and what was served to me on a plate . Not to mention The Bathrooms... Yuck! I've been in Port-Potties that had better upkeep and smelled less worse than the facilities at the Webster location. I do not know how the BJs Brewhouse name is allowing this to go on. Went to bj's maybe two times before yesterday' visit and never had any real problems. yesterday however me and the wife sit down to eat and start with a spinach artichoke dip that took 15 minutes to come out. when it finally did the bowl itself was screaming hot but the dip inside was luke-warm at best!? After replacing it i ordered the 14oz ribeye cooked rare. The steak itself was cooked good, the problem was the plastic wrapper that was cooked onto the bottom of it that i found half way through. Apparently I've been sleeping on the pizookie and the only one in my group who had never heard of it or tried it. We came here just for that. You can order the larger single pizookie with one flavor, but why have one when you can have three minis! 4-people, 2-mini trios, 6 different flavors. There's something for everyone. They were fun and served warm. Some better than others, but also very much personal preference. Save room if you do plan on ordering this. Also, a great shareable. Came in, it was 5 in my party, my server was Alexis. Unfortunately our experience was completely ruined, we found a hair in our appetizer, didn't even get an apology from the waitress, and all she asked was "Do you want some more", we would have liked to have that appetizer taken off or a formal apology from a manager. Also said that we couldn't switch out salsa for queso? And when this was brought up the waitress suggested we buy a whole 21$ sampler to get the queso. Went here to watch the football game, has a big screen by the bar which was great and a bunch of smaller screens surrounding. The service was great, really fast and really attentive to us. We ordered the deep dish nachos which was a really big portion, the mini deep dish pizza that comes with a big portion of your choice of salad, and the 1/2 rack of ribs which came with two sides and a dessert! I have good previous experiences at BJ's and always thought they did a good job with an especially large menu. Picked up spaghetti and meatballs for a family member to go. Got home and opened it to look. Seriously? This is a sad sad plate of very white spaghetti. There's so little sauce and I'd mostly be eating plain noodles. I honestly might just open up a jar of Ragu sauce to save this. But I paid 20 some bucks for this sorry excuse for a meal. It's like they had a spoonful of sauce left and can't afford to give more. And I live to far too bother going all the way back up to complain in person. BJ's, please correct this. Won't be going back unless this is refunded/etc. EDIT: See the manager comments below. The salad was really good. For 10.00 you can't beat this deal with a stick. Very good value. The service: lacking. Our waitress had us waiting a very long time. Long time to take our order. She doesn't keep her head up and pay attention to her clients. She really needs some training. We wasted an additional 30-40 mins here because she simply doesn't pay attention or listen. They allowed us to use their patio seating and brought us water for our dogs. So I decided to stop at the Bay Area Boulevard location in Webster, Tx. This was about 18:50 today, 4/25/2025. The two of us wanted outside seating and were the second in line (the group in front of us was waiting for others to arrive). I told the lady we wanted seating for two outside and she was about to send us, when the manager came up and said everyone would have to go on a wait list. The hostess then turned around and said we'd have to wait instead of being seated. While I understand there is usually a wait time on a Friday evening, I believe it was a terrible managerial decision to make those already in the restaurant wait when we were already about to go sit. I get that there may have been staffing issues, but I would have thought on a Friday evening, that would have been taken into account and maybe over staff by 1-2. Regardless, I just want to thank the manager and hostess for helping me make the decision to not return to BJ's and be treated as such. The food and service are always good here! Large seating areas with Tvs and great music. We had the pretzel as a starter - so doughy and good!! I got my usual ahi tuna salad which did not disappoint.
