This was a great venue for our company's team building "field trip." The food was great, our event's space was big, tv's everywhere to watch the FIFA game. Our event host and our wait staff were efficient, respectful and attentive. Highly recommend the Taco bar.. there was a ton of food for our team and a great variety for all, including our vegetarian and vegan without having to order separate dishes off the menu. Cathy, our event Manager was fantastic to communicate with and was very accommodating. Everyone had fun playing pickleball and while I have never seen it before, it was really fun to watch :) This venue also has an elevator for the second floor, which is where our event was held and we also had access to the rooftop seating area. We visited Chicken N Pickle for Father's Day, and overall we had a great time! The atmosphere was fun, the food was good, and we really enjoyed spending time together playing pickleball. It's a great place for families, friends, or anyone looking for something different to do. The only downside was that it started raining while we were there. The outdoor courts became soaked, and it didn't seem like there was much of a plan in place to get them playable again. We eventually asked if there was a solution, and the staff came out to squeegee the courts so we could continue playing. I do want to give credit where it's due, the staff handled the situation well once we brought it to their attention. They extended our court time, allowed us about 30 extra minutes indoors while we waited, and even gave us coupons to come back another day. That level of customer service was appreciated. Despite the weather hiccup, we had a really enjoyable Father's Day and would definitely return. Hopefully they'll develop a more streamlined plan for rainy days, but overall it's a fun venue with good food and a great atmosphere! read more

First time here and everyone was kind and helpful from assisting with a reservation to deciding on what to eat. Josh and Kaden provided recommendations on what to eat. These guys were so well-mannered. It was nice to see young kids enjoy what they do and show respect for their jobs. The food was delicious and of good quality. Definitely not processed or prepackaged food. We rented the outdoor covered court for an hour and the guys at the desk were so accommodating and helpful. Even the manager stopped to talk to us. We are eating out quite a bit these days due to a mishap in the kitchen that flooded it. No way to cook from home so we've had to go out for every meal other than an occasional peanut butter and jelly. My husband And the couple we were with loved deviled eggs. I had the St. Louis hot chicken sandwich, the couple had catfish which they enjoyed.. I worked in restaurants and bartended for over 20 years before my second career. I am an excellent tipper, but I have noticed since my hair has grown white servers are not as responsive to my husband and I when we go out. It's very interesting. That they would think because we are older we don't tip well. We even tip bad service. Because everybody has a bad day. It was quite the task to get silverware and napkins. Isn't that Service 101? I would rate 3.5 for the food and 4.5 for the pickle ball experience. We have been here once for an afternoon pickle ball date and once for a family experience on Easter. The first time for the date, we reserved the outdoor court for an hour, had a couple of drinks for HH, and an order of fried pickles. The facility was nice, the drinks were good but not strong, and the appetizer order was enough to share with more than 2 ppl. When we came back for Easter brunch, we reserved an outdoor court again. The $1 mimosas were a nice touch for our party. Afterwards, we partook in the AYCE brunch. It was rather pricey ($36/adult), since it was Easter and ham and prime rib were added to the menu. The food was decent. Our 2 year old had plenty to choose from. I like the atmosphere and how easy it is to reserve a court. It's very spacious and a great place for all ages to enjoy. **This review is based on two corporate events.** First, I wish I'd come up with this concept. Who knew that people would want to play the ping-pong version of tennis ... in droves? And who knew that the absolute cheapest part of the chicken would become so popular (and expensive)? -- Not me. And that's why I'll always have bills to pay! But I digress... If you're into pickleball, some booze and a nosh, this is your place. It is located in the "tourist district" (as I call it) in Webster. A quick exit from I-45 right next to Great Wolf Lodge. The place is very well appointed; the employees are (mostly) decent at what they do. The atmosphere is airy and fun. I have twice been here for corporate events, and these guys aren't so great at planning the food part of it. Here's why: They basically put the food out and let everyone have at it. So, if you are near the end of the line, you're likely to go hungry. With 2-3 staff members (whom I noticed on their phones at the entrance while I was in line), they could very easily serve PORTIONS so that when you order food for 40 people, 40 people actually get a few wings and so on. Indeed, there are people who jump in line and pile things on their plate. Shame on them for not thinking about the other people behind them. Still, they exist ... as if this is their last meal. This joint could solve that issue, just like other successful restaurants. To the food... These folks mostly do a great job. While my smoked wings were tender, they were also salted to the point that I felt like I was eating something from the Dead Sea. The salad and desserts were fine ... nothing extraordinary. Service here is mixed. One dude, who just graduated high school, was phenomenal. He noticed that I finished my soda and approached me often to ask what I needed. Meanwhile, I ordered a soda from a young lady, and she took 10 more orders (to fill up her tray) before she started delivering orders. I chalk that up to poor training. -- The whole time, there were at least 2-3 people at the entrance playing grab-ass, when they could have been taking care of business. Disappointing Experience with Event Planning. I am extremely disappointed with my experience attempting to book a graduation event at Chicken N Pickle in Webster. When I initially spoke with the event coordinator, Cathy Brasher, I was told that for a group of approximately 50 guests, the only requirement would be a $1,000 minimum spend, a 20% gratuity, and that guests would be responsible for purchasing their own food and drinks. Based on those representations, I began planning my event around this venue. However, after investing my time and moving forward with the planning process, the terms changed significantly. I was later informed that the minimum spend was actually $2,000 for the evening time slot I requested. If I wanted to keep the minimum at $1,000, I would need to move the event to an afternoon time slot that was far less desirable for my guests. The surprises did not stop there. I was then informed that I would be required to purchase appetizers for all guests and cover everyone's beverages, adding several hundred dollars in additional costs that were never disclosed during our initial conversations. At that point, the event no longer resembled the arrangement that had originally been presented to me. What is most frustrating is not necessarily the pricing itself, but the lack of transparency and consistency. Had these requirements been communicated from the beginning, I could have made an informed decision about whether the venue fit my budget. Instead, the expectations changed repeatedly throughout the planning process, making it difficult to trust the information being provided. For a venue that promotes private events and group gatherings, I expected clear communication, accurate pricing, and consistent information. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. I ultimately felt misled and frustrated by the constantly changing requirements and unexpected costs. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering hosting an event at Chicken N Pickle Webster to obtain every detail in writing upfront and carefully verify all costs before making plans. This place has a little bit of something for everyone and easy to stay for some time. I've.nevernhad a problem parking in their lot but they do have an additional lot. Many pickle.ball.courts where you can rent the racket and keep the balls. I had my bday here and it was so much fun! I love that they had benches and tables set up right outside each court. Makes it ideal to have everyone in one spot to mingle, play, and eat. Great for kids. Accessible doors to go outside to the grass area. They have their own bar and restrooms in this building also The grass area does have some covered bench seating and lawn chairs. Great outdoor games for the kids and adults. My kids love running around the green space. The next building has a bar and and inside restaurant seating with plenty of TVs to catch a game. Another room for brunch with booth seating. The upstairs if designated for 21 and up. During Xmas they had an awesome event where you can make reservations and enjoy a Holiday menu. The decor was too cute. There are plenty of events here for adults and kids. We enjoy coming here and nice to have. Kid friendly place.with lots of options. I also had my son's first b-day and my bday here. We sat inside and didn't do any games so can't comment there. My chipotle chicken bowl (with chicken tinga) was good, however I didn't notice until after we ordered & paid that it was a lunch special which came with a drink (would have been nice if this was pointed out sooner). Wings were very disappointing considering others said they were good. Tasted like they were frozen and reheated, rubbery without flavor. On November 8th, 2025, We had our Annual Friendsgiving at Chicken N Pickle @Webster Tx location. Their food was pretty good because I decided to just get The CNP Burger with fries to go ,and I tried a couple of cocktails. The waiter was very friendly, and the service was really great. FYI: At Chicken N Pickle it's cashless ,so you can use credit/debit cards only. The ambiance was so cool...it felt like a big adult playground ,but all ages are welcome! You could play Pickle ball, and they had other activities as well. But, what a fun and great way to celebrate Friendsgiving with these awesome ladies. One of several new restaurants to open in the Clear Lake area, Chicken N Pickle in Webster has been on my dining bucket list for a minute. It's really cool how the place combines my favorite bird with a sport I want to try, pickleball. I, however, came here to eat, not play pickleball. But I was glad to learn that there are coaches who tutor novices on the game. Speaking of eating, I welcomed myself to CNP with the 1/4 rotisserie chicken. The entrée consists of the poultry itself, tortillas, avocado, and a Serrano pepper. It was a great debut meal to have. The chicken was nicely seasoned and cooked, baring a satisfying, juicy flavor. The tortillas acted as a hot and fresh side dish for the chicken with the avocado on top. I happened to eat the Serrano pepper, and I must say it was spicy, but not the point it ignited my mouth. To cap my inaugural dinner, I enjoyed the Triple Chocolate Cookie. Clean and pristine, the staff ought to be commended for the excellent upkeep of the eatery, which is spacious, to say the least. It possesses a fun for all ages vibe, and with summer just around the corner, CNP should anticipate an uptick in business. It also helps that the adjacent Great Wolf Lounge will open in August. This was one of those 'let's try them out' gigs and yes they did deliver. It felt weird to order your food at the counter, but that's their deal, so ok. I loved the ambiance and everyone was more than friendly. If ya' got tons of screens and sports, then I'm all in!! There was a lot of staff (manager, GM) and a lot of what appeared to be training and working on other areas. So I got the 1/2 rotisserie chicken with the jerk seasoning and as for the sauce, he offered all 4 of them and I must say, it was a great treat to have them all because they were very different but delicious. I got 1/2 chicken because I wanted both white and dark...this chicken was absolutely delicious. I overstuffed myself because I wouldn't stop eating it. The tortilla was good to wrap up the chicken and dip into the sauce. And it would be nice if they didn't tuck the tortilla under everything else because that made it super soggy. The deviled eggs were pretty to look at but I didn't like them. I'm not a mustard person but if you are like my husband, then you'll like them, he enjoyed them but it was a firm NO for me. There are 2 buildings, one being the restaurant and the other being the indoor courts. In between, you'll find tons of outdoor yard games, tables, and seating. Chicken n Pickle is family friendly, so you'll find little ones running amuck (watch out!). As far as the food goes, it's pretty standard American. You'll find rotisserie chickens and a variety of other chicken options such as smokey wings, chicken sandwiches, and salads or bowls with chicken. The food was pretty mediocre to me. I've been to the one in San Antonio. It's nice to have one in the Houston area. They have been open for about a month now. We had two indoor courts reserved. While we played, we ordered drinks and they took awhile to come. After playing, we moved to the other building since others reserved the courts after us and we needed to vacate the table and chairs. You have to go to the cashier to order food. They won't take your order at the table unless it's drinks. Then they give you a number to place on your table. The food is delicious. The service wasn't great and was slow even though there were many waiters/waitresses. It's nice that they have many games like cornhole, battleship, Jenga, ping pong tables, etc. Dogs are allowed too. We will definitely be back. read more

With pickleball being the "new" sport that's sweeping the nation, Chicken n Pickle really sets the bar high with their professional looking yet family friendly facility. Walking in, this place is huge. With a number of outdoor and indoor pickleball courts, full restaurant, 4 bars, outdoor yard games, and tons of seating, this place can accommodate just about any group, regardless of the size. The next best thing here is the affordability. Depending on if you want to get a court inside/outside and the time you go, you can get a private court for as cheap as $10/hr. They also have happy hour on food/drinks Mon - Fri 3-6pm. Then last, but not least, I plan on coming here for Sunday brunch/bingo. Bingo is Sundays from 10am - Noon and free to play, while the Sunday brunch buffet is $20.99/adult from 10am - 2pm. While we originally came here to play pickleball, we were very surprised by how good the food/drinks was. I personally recommend their pulled pork quesadilla, fried pickles, life's a peach cocktail, and $6 classic margarita. Don't sleep on their happy hour for real! I went during the soft opening, so all of the food was free. Patrons only had to pay for the cocktails, but I didn't get one because they were bringing around samples. I liked Life's A Peach and the Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade, but my favorite was the Knotty Cherry! If you like cherry and you like vodka, then this is the drink for you! I tried the Brisket Mac & Cheese and the Quesadilla. They were both good, except the quesadilla was labeled as shareable. But if you go to any Mexican restaurant and place an order for one, you will get the same size that I got. It was not "shareable" in my opinion! They have a nice private room with a private bar. There is also seating upstairs and outside and on the outdoor upstairs patio. There are TVs throughout the restaurant, as well as outdoors, so this would be a great place to come to watch sporting events! They have a nice, large outdoor seating area with outdoor heaters for when it gets cold, and fans for when it gets hot. There are also lots of cool games set up, like foosball, big Jenga, Connect Four, corn hole, and even big battleship! I've never played Pickleball, but I did check out the pickleball courts both inside and outside. They looked very nice, and there was a nice bar by the courts on the inside of the building. We came by for the mock service and had a great time! Service was amazing and all their staff was super attentive and helpful. They offer 4 paddles and balls per court if you don't bring your own. Food was hot and fresh! Their wings and burgers were definitely our favorite. A portion of our orders came out missing, but staff were quick to accommodate or bring out the food with haste. They have buzzers with a tracking system so it will find you no matter where you are in the building. Great feature to have. They have 4 bars in the building, speaking of buildings it's humongous, TV's everywhere and massive seating inside and out. They have pickle ball classes along with racquetball. I ordered a kids meal (burger) for the little one, I had the rotisserie chicken (leg quarter) jerk style with Mango habanero sauce on the side (so tasty) let me add the kitchen is open and you can watch your food being cooked. They have lots of rooms for private parties. Easy on and off the freeway. Supposedly brined chicken breast grill over an avocado spread, some cabbage (claims to be a pickle cabbage), cheese and bacon. Overall not good sandwich. Would definitely not order it again. No pickle flavor at all. The avocado spread over powers the entire sandwich then makes it very soggy. Overall this is a ZERO flavor sandwich Disappointing sandwich. The fries however are okay. Finally made it to chicken n pickle. Went on a lunch date with my friend. During the time that we went, it was pretty empty and not busy at all. Considering there is a bar and pickleball, I'm sure it's not always that way. I had chicken tenders with sweet potato fries, my friend had the chicken Caesar wrap and her son had the kids meal chicken fingers.
