This is the best volleyball facility in Houston. The parents have plenty great places to sit and the concessions stand has great options.

A wonderful place to play volleyball for open gym! The games range from intermediate-ish to advances. The intensity is great and the games are competitive. $10 is quite the price to play, but it is definitely a good place to play for adults! read more

Worst possible location for a tournament. Thank goodness this is our last one at this facility - if you can call it that. No parking. No spectator seating. No seating for in between games. And you can't even go sit in your car because we had to park so far away, literally miles. Terrible place for a tournament. Please AVA stop hosting tournaments. Your facility is not made for it. What an awful facility to host a tournament. Absolutely no parking!! Seating is horrible! Then they expect you to buy your ticket online with "spotty" WiFi service. " try outside" is what I was told. Then the advertising on the monitors- don't get me started. They had an advertisement for weight loss peptides at a facility that should be supporting female sports and body confidence!! Boy, do I hate AVA tonight! We attended a Fast-Fours event at AVA ,and AVA OVERBOOKED the event. There were three teams to every one court, and one court had four teams! In normal Fast-Fours, each team of four girls plays another team of four girls for 7 minutes, then moves to another court for the next 7 minutes of play. This AVA-overbooked event had three teams on a court playing 'queen of the court' style, and then an entire fourth team sitting on the sidelines waiting to play in 7 minutes. The girls attend so they can play 1.5 hours of volleyball, not sit on the sidelines watching others play! AVA = Greed. Unhappy kids, disappointed adults. Waste of a night. read more

If you want your child to develop to be a great player, then look somewhere else. This club has very few good coaches, does not teach the fundamentals of the game, plays favorites. Their program is weak. read more

We have played a few tournaments here and each time the parking is terrible. We pay $10 per adult to get in and there's not enough seating. People are standing in walk ways, sitting on stairs, sitting on the ground. But there's nowhere else for them to go so it's not like AVA can ask people to move. It has to be a fire hazard to have this many people in the facility. People are parked down a dirt road and having to walk pretty far. It's a nice facility, but not big enough to host games on all courts at the same time. Seems like they just care about making the money and not about the safety of the guests. read more

Avator Spring Break "Camp" You can't even sit down to watch your child. You either go upstairs and sit or stand at the window for an hour and a half. Not to mention it's $50 for three hours split into two days. Hometown Hero's in League City is 100 times better then this place. $75 for the whole season! read more

AVA after all this years still needs a lot of improvement in MANY ways. We had our daughter with AVA for several clinics, after and before she made team with AVA. The coach was not good so a week into the season and after many of the parents complained they replaced the coach with another one that was not as bad, but not good either. At AVA you are just one more in the crowd. Not very pleased with the communication style, you can nearly never get a live conversation with anyone over the phone. Call the number and its never answered, send emails and never get a reply. It is more expensive than any other volleyball club, so we expect the best. When we brought out daughter the second year hoping things had changed and because of the convenient location for us, to our surprise the feeling and way of conducting their business was the same, very poor. I believe they are gabbing more than they can chew. You can make it to team this year but not the next.... you can attend the clinics and be on team this year but not the next.
