I attempted to gain understanding, which I'm sure the pressure for the additional money was coming from the man cooking vs. the lady as the messenger, but didn't understand and wasn't paying full price. Fast forward to receiving food, I was told they allowed a 1/2 order of fries since I didn't purchase them. I was done. Chyle... food was terrible. Honey mustard wings were overcooked, tasteless and drowned in sauce. My "free" 1/2 order of fries were cooked too hard for the size. No one in our party was impressed and we felt the food was extremely bland (mind you we ordered a bit of everything). Upon leaving we went straight to Jersey Mike's. Sometimes, I'm just not in the mood for tomato base and this time, I got a pie that was simple and good. Olive oil, cheese, tomato and onion on a great thin crust. The salad was also very good - bite sized pieces of romaine lettuce, black olives, red onion and tomatoes. It is better than the other delivery choices for sure! I placed my order and got service that I needed without any problem or any anger from the employee who had already been in the situation before time. This gets a kudos from me because a lot of people might have had an issue with how the other customer was talking to them and they held their composure very well. I truly appreciate this type of customer service. Because if they had done anything negative I may have never come back to this KFC again and might have been discouraged from going to another KFC and not eating this delicious chicken . A manager came over and said we were drinking "too fast," which made no sense -- no limits were explained and no one was intoxicated. After that entire conversation, the server oddly asked if we wanted a third round, which only made the situation more confusing and unprofessional. Our tater tots didn't come out until we were already leaving, and the wings were extremely small -- about the size of tater tots -- very disappointing for the price. We didn't argue because the experience was already ruined. We've been loyal Hooters customers at the Frisco location for over 25 years and have never been treated this way. The Denton location made us feel uncomfortable and stereotyped, and we will not return. This deserves more than a generic response -- real customer service and accountability matter.
