Anytime she wanted a sweet treat, that's what she asked for. Ordering it now keeps me connected to her. This past July, on her 3rd birthday in heaven, I placed an order to celebrate her. The menu only had cherry cheesecake that day, so I wrote a note explaining what the strawberry meant to me. The staff didn't just make it happen, they sent an extra slice of strawberry cheesecake on top of it. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. The people here have always been this kind. We settled on box of 4 to get a deal (the prices area tad higher, but so is the quality) - so tried the coconut creme one (fantastic), the original creme brulee (small, but tasty and full of flavor and personality), tres leches (smaller side, but great glaze) and the star - vanilla bean and blackberry jam that was so nice and fresh! If you're on the hunt for a place that offers truly unique and unforgettable donut flavors, Fat Doughnut should be at the top of your list. One of their most exceptional creations is the maple donut, which stands out with its rich, syrupy sweetness and melt-in-your-mouth texture. It's a perfect balance of flavors that brings together the warmth of maple and the soft, doughy goodness of their perfectly crafted donuts. What makes Fat Doughnut even more special is the wide variety of other delectable donuts they offer, each one crafted with care and attention to detail. From classic favorites to bold, inventive flavors, every bite is a delightful surprise. The doughnuts here are always fresh and big! you know that they are hand made with home-made ingredients and do not contain any preservatives as the franchise businesses out there (Dunkin Donuts etc). We first tried their doughnuts with my husband and loved them so much, that each of us got a dozen for our co- workers. Our co-workers really enjoyed it,too! There was literally nothing left. The price tag is what you would expect from a gourmet doughnut shop, but honestly it's worth it given the size of those things. It's essentially like buying two doughnuts. They have smaller sizes, too, by the way, in case you can't tackle of them big boys. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are a doughnut lover! read more
