2 drinks (energy and a iced brown sugar cinnamon latte) and 2 Asiago bagels with garlic schmear were delicious. Our only issue was the excessive amount of cream cheese, we each scraped half the cream cheese off so we could taste the bagel. Otherwise the garlic schmear had the right amount of garlic flavor without being overpowering. read more

Such a cute little shop & the food was delicious! I had their breakfast burrito with chorizo and my friend had one of their bagel sandwiches and loved it! The peak energy caffeine drink was also super yummy and a great non-coffee alternative. read more

Good place to get bagels in Flagstaff but not great bagels. Food is good, service it nice and ambiance is good. I wish the bagels were as good as NYC but it's just Arizona. If you don't have high expectations then you'll be fine. Enjoy! read more

Fat Bagels - Great selection of bagels - Bagels Near Me - Flagstaff, Arizona

Interesting concept, was on my way out of town saw fat bagels next to fat olives where I ate the night before and I was craving a morning breakfast sandwich. Interesting with the eggs they're square and they're completely cooked but it's not a conventional egg. It's an egg mix that's cooked off then cut into squares much like you would sheet pie or sheet cake, cheddar cheese and was Excellent really good. Coffee regular brew kind of weak but still good orange juice was fresh squeezed a bit expensive but I can see the cost. Service was fantastic and the place was clean. What else could you ask for? I asked if this was a part of a larger corporation and it's a standalone place. Bagels are really good a bit airy not as dense as I like a bagel but still very good. read more

Best bagel I have ever eaten in my 33 years of life. I got a simple plain bagel with garlic cream cheese. Good thing I don't live over here, I'd have one daily. read more

Great lunch bagel sandwiches! We loved the Flagstaff Philly and the baked potato soup!

I have absolutely loved Fat Bagels and my partner and I go in every once a month or so but today was so incredibly different than I had experienced. While the bagels were fantastic, the gal that rang us up was incredibly rude and perhaps even racist. She refused to put my friend's name (very clearly a Mexican/Spanish/Latin name) on the order (said 'Ok' and then rolled her eyes) and then told us they do not do iced coffee (which was fine) but made us feel bad about getting an Americano instead. Wish she was kinder. read more

My husband have visited Fat Bagels a couple times. The bagels are good but I don't recommend breakfast sandwiches that have eggs. On our first visit my husband and I split a bagel breakfast sandwich that included egg, avocado, sausage and maybe onion. It might have been called Kaitlin. The sandwich tasted very good but the eggs looked weird because they were a solid layer of uniform color. I later found out from the manager that the eggs were precooked patties heated up in the microwave. On our first visit we also split a sesame bagel with honey walnut cream cheese. Fat Bagels offers a variety of cereal cheese flavors. The bagel was fresh. I like that Fat Bagels offers a choice between light and dark roast coffee. We choose light roast and it was good. The staff is friendly The parking lot is not huge, nor is the interior seating. In our first visit we came right before the 2:00 closing. We got a parking spot. We returned on another occasion and had bagels with cream cheese. The bagels were fresh and tasty. This is a good place to get fresh bagels. I would avoid the microwaved eggs. Rate 4 read more

Beware of the FAT FRENCH DIP sandwich as it starts out on an undersized, tiny bagel way smaller than their other bagels. It was steaming hot and the meat had no flavor at all. The au jus had no flavor also and was served in a regular drinking cup that prevents dipping. This was a poor quality product and misleading in size, insulting in description and should not be on the menu. This was $9 shot to hell . DON'T RIPP OFF THE CUSTOMER........... read more

The breakfast bagel is perfect, don't forget the side of Cholula. I know it sounds like a small thing but getting non-chain bagels in a drive thru is a dream for travelers. Excellent customer service. read more

Seen this place on TikTok and had it recommended by Salsa Brava. We had gotten there just in time to be able to sit down with the family (a party of 6). The food was amazing and the staff was friendly. The ambiance was great loved the photo of Anthony Bourdain. read more

What a cute spot! Waited until my second time trying to post this --- wanted to let them get their footing a little bit. I do agree with other reviews, the bagels are on the small side and in my opinion overpriced, BUT they are soft and crunchy and delicious. Definitely a more convenient option for those who don't want to deal with navigating downtown Flag for Biff's. I've tried the veggie bagel sandwich (added sun-dried tomato cream cheese), the BLT with roasted garlic CC, and the classic breakfast sandwich with bacon. All good, but I do wish the flavored CC's had more punch to it. (@bitethisaz on instagram for more flagstaff food recommendations :+) ) read more

Best bagel I've had in Arizona if I'm being totally honest. Definitely in Northern AZ/Flagstaff area and I'm from NJ originally so I have a pretty high bar. Crispy on outside, perfectly chewy on the inside. Great prices, quick service, all the right options. And the croissants were also fantastic! read more

Best bagel I've had in a lonnnnnnngggg time! Definitely rivals East Coast bagels that I'm accustomed to. Also, service was top-notch! Unlike many places--especially fast food joints--that have one or two employees moping around, Fat Bagels had about eight or nine clean cut, smiling, and busy employees. We didn't have any troubles, but someone next to us had something wrong with a big to-go order, and we saw at least three employees apologize and promise they'd have him on his way soon. The tables and bathrooms were well equipped and clean. Not that it deducts from my review, but if you're looking for a place with WiFi and room to work, there isn't any room to do that. Instead, we talked about how good the coffee and bagels were. Definitely bookmarking Fat Bagels for next time we're in Flagstaff. read more

How did Flagstaff manage to make a kick-ass Philly cheesesteak? The drive thru was nothing but friendly, and we didn't go inside, but the logo was cool, so I guess good ambiance. read more

Fast and friendly service, clean tables, excellent variety of bagel options. Try the salmon lox.

As a former New Yorker, who has recently moved to Arizona, as you might imagine I am quite disappointed at what some places here call bagels, which which in reality are just small round loaves of bread with holes in them. I admit that Bruegger's is not bad, Einsteins is OK, but I had not had anything that even resembled a true New York bagel until stopping at Fat Bagels during a road trip through Flagstaff. These are without a doubt, the best bagels I've had and Arizona and absolutely rival those from New York. They are crunchy on the outside, soft yet not doughy on the inside, and even when I ate one the next day, I didn't have to toast it to bring it back to life. I can't speak for anything else they sell there as we simply got a half a dozen bagels to bring home to Hereford but I wish it wasn't a 10 hour round-trip drive to get them again. read more

Excellent bagels. Excellent service and welcoming staff. Super quick drive thru for traveling thru!

So excited to leave this review. We happened upon this place as we were driving through town and decided to try it for breakfast today. It's such a cute place, we didn't go inside but the drive thru was quick, efficient and the staff were incredibly friendly and personable. We ordered hot bagel breakfast sandwiches on everything bagels with bacon and a plain bagel with cream cheese. It was so fresh, and so tasty. We normally have a rule while we travel that we never go anywhere twice, but we will definitely stop here on our way out. It was so delicious and I can't get over how quickly everything came out as well. They have a large menu, and I'm sure everything is good, but it is definitely worth checking out for breakfast. read more

Best bagels I've had West of the Mississippi. They crooked the traditional style and the flavors are great.

Best bagel place I've had by far everything tasted fresh and there was so many different variety of bagels. They were also fast with it.

Good bagels however when I paid they added a "Flagstaff Service Charge" on top of the 11 percent food tax. Why not just increase price of your already high priced food. I think they do it as most will not see the extra charge. Bad Business practices. read more

What a great find this was. Staff is friendly and professional. I had the Wanda and was pleasantly surprised. I will be back for more.

Love having a bagel place on the east side! We've gotten breakfast sandwiches through the drive through and more recently dined inside for lunch. The staff was great and provided quick service even though it was busy. It was also a nice ambiance inside with good daylight from the windows in the afternoon. read more

Fat Bagels - BLT on everything bagel - Bagels Near Me - Flagstaff, Arizona

Fat Bagel or Tiny Bagel? For $9 this bagel is not nearly as big as I would have expected. I don't think this is worth the value. The bagel is small. Also, why are they asking for a tip on the screen at the drive thru? If the bagel is $9, you want me to tip AT THE DRIVE THRU? I'm aware prices have gone up on everything, however, make the price make sense. If you're calling yourselves "fat bagels" and charging $8-9 a bagel, it better be a hefty size. read more

So while these bagels are definitely excellent for out west, they would be just ok back east. They're certainly crunchy and yeasty enough to be satisfactory, and they're a solid option, but they would be perhaps a bit below average in NYC, and average for most Northeast cities. read more

This place is amazing, me and my girlfriend have been going to biffs bagels for a while now but since this place opened we have started coming here instead. Fat Bagels blows the other place out of the park. Their bagels are softer, more flavorful, and cheaper. Stopped in today with a friend and was extremely pleased to find good bagels out west in a small town. So surprised to find real bagels with a crunchy crust and a soft interior.
