Dan went above and beyond to give me the best service even though I had only ordered a small job. When I explained what repair I needed the glass for instead of trying to persuade me to pay the extra for his company to come out and do the install he gave me tips for how to be safer and more successful in my DIY project. He took the time to carefully sand the edges so I wouldn't cut myself sliding it in and he recut the glass no charge as well as staying a little after hours so I could pick it up when there was a mistake in the sizing. I'm considering replacing some single-pane windows in my house in the near future and decided to check around different vendors. Fast Glass just finished replacing my windshield, and I am thoroughly impressed. Firstly, the business comes to you, which is amazing. Second, I was treated with amazing customer service by the two technicians. I was in awe with how efficient they were, and with how quick the windshield was replaced. I called to see if this company did window tinting and "Cathy" answered the phone. I could barely hear what she was saying and she sounded as if she absolutely hated being there. When I asked, Cathy replied with "ugh yup." I responded and said "okay thank you!" And she hung up. I immediately called back and told her she needed to fix her attitude even though I had only talked to her for maybe 8 seconds. This has nothing to do with their ability to work with glass or mirrors, just the first glance customer service. I could not even get past the second phone call - the front desk woman was rude, impatient, and condescending. The first time I called for a quote on a custom cut mirror I thought "Cathy", the woman who answered the phone, seemed very unhappy she had to answer a call. Still, I gave her the measurements and she gave me a price. Easy enough. After calling around, Fast Glass was a little more expensive than other shops but was closer to home so I was willing to spend a little extra for convenience. So I called back - it was "Cathy" again. I felt bad bothering her. "Hi, I called this morning about a custom cut mirror..." "Speak up, I can't understand you!" She was already mad. I ran across my bedroom to try and find better reception, "I'm sorry, can you hear me now?" "Yes, what do you want?" "Ok, Hi, I called this morning about ordering a custom mirror." Cathy loudly exhaled, scoffed at me, then sarcastically replied, "Well, you're going to have to give me more than that....I've had a lot of calls today." I've never done this before, but she set me off and all I could say was, "Ok, I'm going to have to order from someone else, your customer service is wanting." And hung up. I was embarrassed and proud of the stand I took all at the same time...kind of weird. I am now writing this review so hopefully, just hopefully, "Dan" will see it and either make a change or get some training to the lady up front representing his business.
