Let's start with Judd, the sales representative. He was transparent, easy to communicate with, and has been nothing but responsive. Even after the sale! Very refreshing! (Typically, sales folks "disappear" once contract is inked). Chea's updates and responsiveness are worthy of mention. She updated on status of the security door, and always set expectation - be it regarding follow-up or otherwise. Have you ever contacted the owner of a company and received direct, genuine response from said owner? On multiple occasions? Well, James at Boss Security responded and engaged in conversation with me. On multiple occasions! And something I appreciated was the inclusion of Judd, Sales Rep. Little wonder, therefore , that the staff are responsive. Now the security door! Absolutely Love it!! Our electric bill is halved. With the wonderful weather we're having,,We've been able to keep the front and back doors open and have the fresh breeze flowing right throughout the house! No AC needed. And, there's no worry about the dogs getting out or bugs getting in. Now to get the windows done. If you're considering security screens for your doors and windows, I'd recommend you take a few minutes to review and check out Boss Security - https://bosssecurityscreens.com/ Great product, Great service, Great value! read more

Judging from my experience trying to get simple questions answered by Boss about a home protective screen installation, they are an indifferent, inefficient company with little regard for the customers' time and welfare. They appear to outsource their communications to untrained workers in another country...if they can't be bothered to put a trained staffer on the phone immediatlely, then I assume that once they get your money, service will be haphazard and unsatisfactory. I have already wasted 20 minutes today with Boss...NO MORE, ONE AND DONE! read more

We made up our mind to invest in a security screen. There were 2 options with good reviews so we called both to come out for an estimate. Boss Security wasn't the lowest priced, but they did offer a superior product. We are very pleased with the look and the peace of mind this screen provides. The process was explained well and the installation went smoothly. read more

I'm beyond disappointed with my experience with Boss Security Systems and Adam Rogers, the "Security Consultant" they sent to my home. I cancelled my consultation after Adam's conduct displayed a major lack in professional ethics and client security. I value home security and discretion--something a security company should instinctively understand. Instead, Adam showed up an hour early unannounced while I wasn't home and decided to "flag" my house by leaving a giant 8x11 red and white flyer right on my front door. As a veteran with multiple visible security cameras and an Air Force flag, and a steel security door, it should be obvious that I value discretion and OPSEC (Operational Security). By leaving that flyer, this guy essentially put up a neon billboard for the entire street, advertising my intentions to fortify my home. Most importantly, I have a notoriously nosy next door neighbor whose teen is constantly watching my house; this representative basically handed them a flyer detailing my private security concerns. This creates a security vulnerability rather than solving one! Advertising a homeowner's vulnerabilities to their neighbors while they aren't home is the opposite of providing a "security" service. If you want a company that respects your privacy and understands that security is about more than just selling a product, AVOID THESE GUYS! They're more interested in lead generation than actual client safety and security. read more

Sales reached out about new products, I mentioned an issue with my door that was installed a couple of years ago, and within 30 minutes, a representative called me. Within a couple hours Waylon was at my house fixing the issue. A reminder to all of those looking for security screens and/or doors, remember you're not just paying for a product. There should be good customer service. Boss Security Screens has great product and great customer service. Appreciate all James and Waylon did!! Thank you. read more

Buyers beware Boss Security Doors are not good with follow-up and/or workmanship. I will post a video of what a 8 thousand dollar installation looks like from them. They sent out a young man who could do nothing or would. I believe his exact words were " our doors are designed to keep people out, not in." The cat can push these doors open. The hole was drilled too big, they screwed it into the wall anyway, and the top track is loose read more

Challenge 1: Quote requested and scheduled yet they kept texting to try to schedule even though I had an appointment scheduled. Mismanagement? System issues? Challenge 2: They texted the night before to confirm the appointment (good), but no one showed up! Waited 15 minutes before I texted the number that confirmed my appointment since I hadn't heard anything. It was going to be another 45 minutes! It would be an additional 30-45 minute discussion once they got there. That would have been my whole morning! I drove to the other side of town for this appointment. No courtesy call. Did they just wake up?? Did they just get the assignment? I was a little leery of this company since I had read some of the reviews but had hoped they had resolved those issues. I was so disappointed because I really wanted this to work out for so many reasons. But if these 2 incidents were examples of how they run their business, I didn't want any part of it. I canceled my quote request with this company. I hope others have a good experience but just thought I would share my tale of caution. Good luck! read more

Wes came to install our door today. It looks amazing, feels very secure, and I couldn't be happier with it overall! We had our first sales meeting with Judd on March 15th and the door was installed August 29th, so there is a wait but well worth it! We had quotes from 3 companies and these guys had the best product and the best price. Can't beat that! read more

We had Boss Security Screens installed last year and we love them. We bought them primarily for their quality and aesthetics. They look and function great! This year we wanted to add more screens to our addition. Unfortunately, after the technician came for the final measurements (as they are custom manufactured), he noticed that they would not be able to install the screens to their high standards due to the constraints of the current construction. The owner personally called me, and we agreed to cancel this project. She was very friendly and honest with me which I appreciated. read more

The final product, when it shows up, is fine. The rub is getting the product to show. As others have mentioned, be ready to wait a really looooonnnnngggg time and and a never ending stream of BS excuses for why it's taking so long. It they can ever fix their long wait and cut out the BS excuses they might be a 4 or 5 but otherwise they earned this rating. read more

Wes H. came to install our gorgeous new door today. I can't speak for the product yet (those videos on their website convinced me I made the right choice), but the service Wes gave was prompt, courteous & he re-keyed our doors to boot. Had an estimate done for my whole house after a few days I had noticed a window was missing from the estimate. Of course the price of the estimate went up considerably. Not sure if it was an accident or on purpose to come in lower than the competition to get me under contract, but after doing some more research on this company it turns out the product and lead time for install is inferior to the competition. Please do your self a favor and research and look at reviews. You definitely get what you pay for. read more

This company is amazing, they are very knowledgeable and have recommend them to all my family and friends.

I was shopping for a security screen door for some time and got some quotes from some of the other companies in town, but Boss Security Screens were by far the most reasonable. The CEO James even called me and told me about the company and how they were different than the rest. It did take some time to get, but it was worth the wait. Wes installed the door for us and took his time making sure it was done right. He said he installed doors like "how I would want it to be installed at my home", and I really appreciated that. Overall I'm happy with the service and product. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. read more

Big shout out to Wes for coming by and installing my security door. He was professional and incredibly helpful. The timeline for the door installation took a few months, but I was informed on how the logistics were going every week via text. At no point did I feel forgotten or left out on any developments with quotes, fitting, custom building of the frame and installation time window. I would highly recommend Boss Security, just a great experience all around. read more

Putting security doors and screens on a 100 year-old house could be a real challenge. Who knows what pandora's box might be opened. Further, I was worried about how the security doors and screens would 'fit'. The aesthetics were very important to me. Turns out, they look super and no snags were encountered. Wes and his efficient crew showed up for the installation on time and got right to work straight through until the job was finished. It was obvious as they worked that they cared about the quality of the installation. They for sure have a proper sense of customer service. Whew! This was a major expense for us and therefore a major decision. We're happy we made it. Installation is just in time to enjoy the lower overnight temps but feel safe with the windows and doors inside the security screens wide open. Thanks to Wes and his crew. read more

Yes, it took some time to get my finished product but as with many other businesses there is/was a shortage of labor, so I understood perfectly, no complaints. We've had an estimate appointment set up with Boss Security Screens since October 21, four weeks ago, the appointment was today at noon. Ten minutes before noon, before our appointment time, I get this message from the owner: Hi, Marissa. This is James Kerr, owner of Boss Security Screens. I was hoping to send JR to your home for an estimate today. Unfortunately, he's no longer with us. The good news is I am delighted to help and can meet with you via zoom to share more about our solution. May I send a meeting link for 12:15p? Excuse me? Your company is to be at our home here in 10 minutes and you're just now contacting us to say your employee is no longer with you? You only just learned this minutes ago? Not our problem. Send somebody else. Make it happen. A Zoom call? I think not. Totally unprofessional. read more

I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. I recommend them 100%.

Don't bother unless you are willing to put up a nonrefundable deposit and wait Forever to get your screens installed! We placed our order in July of 22 and here we are in March. By the way, if you decide to go with this company, forget useful responses or call backs,...not going to happen. So extremely disappointed and would NOT recommend. Wish I did not have to give any star. read more

This is one of the best investments we have ever made. I found Boss Security Screens while looking for ways to make our home safer. I initially called and was greeted by Heather, who gave me such great and detailed info and an over the phone estimate that was very close to the actual costs. I booked an in person estimate and J.R. came right away and we were sold. He brought a small sample that he used to demo the quality of their security screens, and the materials and craftsmanship are robust, and the aesthetics were pleasing. The installation was done by Andy and Alec, two of the hardest working people I've ever met. They installed all of my screens and doors in two days in the Phoenix heat without complain. The final installed product not only enhanced the look of our house but now gives us peace of mind that our home is that much more protected. The screens themselves even keep our home cooler during the summer. Carissa was also great at any follow up questions we had after installation. Overall, this company and their product is awesome and worth every dollar. Thank you to everyone at Boss Security Screens for helping my family be safer. read more

They certainly don't stand behind their products after you have to wait over a year for them to install and find out they measured wrong. I am not asking them to do anything they didn't say they would do and now they won't do it read more

Do not order from this company unless you have a ton of time to wait for your screens. I ordered a screen door and two window screens back at the beginning of May. I was told 12-18 weeks out for delivery. I continued to get emails updating me on production. It is now November and still no screens. The emails were completely false on the timeline. I was told three weeks ago that they were now changing production companies but promised my items would be delivered and installed by end of October beginning of November. Once again they did not live up to their promise. I asked just to cancel my order and they told me they would keep 40% of my deposit. If you have ordered from this company you know that they are very expensive and I was not willing to walk away from that much money. I received a call on Friday stating that once again it is still a few weeks out. Past the point of frustrated and will NEVER use them again. read more
