Extremely disappointed in my leaking shower! They tried reasealling it and replacing bottom brackets but water still runs down and escapes! Water all over the floor. I would not recommend them. Still trying to get resolved. Feel the manufacturer screwed up and I should be refunded. read more

I had a patio glass replaced by Nelson Glass. Installer,William Yancy came out to measure. The appointment was scheduled 12:00 noon -2:00 he knocked on the door exactly 12:00!! Glass was promised in 7-10 days. They call exactly a week later. I requested the same guy William because not that he was so on time he was very knowledgeable, friendly and answered all my questions. He cleaned up vacuumed and put everything back in it's place. Great guy, great company!! Outstanding!! Good Price. read more

Was looking for a company that did custom glass and mirrors; not just auto glass. Took four drawn to-scale templates for 4 pieces of glass to protect table tops. It's 4 days later, still waiting for the job quote.....haven't heard a word from them. So it's more than three weeks later and I still haven't heard a word from them. I had to call them even though it's clearly evident they're not interested in the business. They told me that they did get a reply from their supplier but couldn't tell me why they didn't bother to call me and catch me up to speed. "Oops" they said. They then proceeded to tell me that they needed to have cardboard template provided. I have provided them with to scale drawings on graph paper, that any high school student could've made a cardboard template from, but not the glass company. It also doesn't change the fact that they completely dropped the ball didn't bother to call me back with their companies feedback. Absolutely a lackluster low caliber company. read more

They installed a sliding glass panel in my bathroom. After a few weeks it shattered on me and I got stitches. Since this incident it has fallen off the track twice. The bottom track fell off and they had to replace it again. Then they no-showed me. This company is reckless and doesn't care about their product or service. read more

I am unhappy with their service. 35x47" peice of untempered class w polished edges ordered. 1. I asked them to confirm by measuring the correct measurment on my peice before I came out to pick it up and they did not want to do it. They said it was labelled with those measurements. 2 The glass comes completely open with nothing covering it and it is dirty. 3. Once home and cleaned there were scratches on it. 4. There remedy was to bring it back and they could try to repair it or would have to order new one. 5. I explained the difficulties of bringing it back in the Kia Soul I picked it up in asked if they could just give me a discount on it and I could send pics of scratches. 6. The attitude of the representative led me to end the conversation and tell them I would just put it in the review. 7. I paid for the glass and picked it up and they wanted me to pay more with my energy, my time, my money (with the time, gas and helper needed) to cover their product defect. If I could not have lived with the scratches, I would have had to have done that, maybe having to do a third trip if they had to reorder it. Otherwise I would have to buy another elsewhere. 8. Nelson Glass replaced a window in my bathroom. Honestly...perfection from start to finish. The glass is an upgrade because of William, Joey and Dan's expertise in installation! I was concerned because I did not have any replacement tiles. They installed without any sign that it was a new piece of glass. Recently ordered a large custom frameless glass shower panel for our master bathroom. I ordered the glass on Friday afternoon and it arrived the following week. Before I ordered from Nelson Glass, I received four quotes. Nelson's price was fair, but to be honest, I was impressed by Nelson's technician, Ashur. He was patient and thorough, answered all of my questions, made suggestions and shared photos of other installations he'd recently completed. When the office called back with the pricing, Stephanie was 100% in sync with what we'd discussed. Communication was excellent. The end result: Ashur and two other technicians arrived about week and a half after I placed my order with the new shower glass. Installation was efficient, professional and clean. They gave me a few tips on how to best keep the glass clean and the left the job site spotless. Pun intended... We love our frameless glass shower and it's been very easy to maintain. read more

I simply called and ask if they could repair a window in my home. I had already bought the glass and didn't realize that I was missing part if the frame and couldn't install it myself. I asked him if i could get an estimate. I told him I would bring the frame down to him. He didn't sound as if he care or even wanted my business. While I did not ultimately have this company do work on my home I did have them give me a quote and I spent a good amount of time talking with several of their employees. I want to specifically call out Carol who worked with me over the phone and personally saw to it that I received everything I needed. Their employees were professional, not pushy, and made sure I understood the details of the products available. For the record, I did not end up working with them because I learned I had a warranty for the glass under the original installer which made the repairs free. Left my review earlier describing our initial issues that have now been resolved. The guys came and installed the trim and repaired the back Arcadia door frame. They seemed cool and understanding of the issues. I have updated this review from 1 star to 4, the only negative aspect of this would be the missed appointments and rescheduling we had. Not sure if that was due to miscommunications or what, but it's fixed now. Hopefully the next time we can just get solid dates for schedules. read more

Called and got a quote on June 7th dropped the window off at their office that day. Was told on the phone it would be 12-13 business days guy in the store said 7-9. Called to check on the status of the window once or twice a week told it would be back on June 23rd. It didn't come in something to do with a vendors equipment. Called again was told July 5-6th Just barely got my window back yesterday July 7th after they had it exactly a month. read more

I've used Nelson Glass to replace my windshield. I had no glass coverage so I had to pay out of pocket which totaled right around $200. They were fast. And it was cheap. They come to you, or save yourself 20 bucks and go to them. read more

Beware, they contracted a third party company ( door closing systems LLC) to fix a self closing door through a property management company. Eight days later they showed up and did less than acceptable work ( metal shaving left on floor inside and out, door will not open ), and three days after repair, no one will return calls. I spoke with them at 9:30 am this morning and they assured me they would call me back and make it right..... NO CALL BACK! I called the third party company and they can't repair the work not done correctly for another five days. I have no access to my back yard due to the faulty work. read more

After the really bad hail storm that came through last Tuesday, my insurance company referred Nelson Glass as a company to replace my windshield. After 3 SEPARATE appointments set up by their office they have still NOT fixed my windshield!!! Nelson Glass called me because my mom missed the first appointment and had to re-schedule for the next day. They NEVER called or SHOWED for my 2nd appointment because the receptionist NEVER gave him the accurate information to contact me for my appointment. The man I spoke with was very rude and tried to make it sound like it was so inconvenient for them to have to do work on my car. They finally re-scheduled my 3rd appointment that the installer set up and verfied he was going to do the work. The installer called and cancelled the next day right before my appointment without explanation, and re-scheduled YET AGAIN for first thing the following morning. THE INSTALLER NEVER SHOWED AND NEVER CALLED TO CANCEL, POSTPONE, OR RE-SCHEDULE! WHEN I CALLED THERE WAS NO ANSWER AND EVERY CALL WENT STRAIGHT TO VOICEMAIL!! I have been waiting for a week to have my car fixed because I cannot drive it! I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone I know, and I called my insurance agency to inform them of the situation, so hopefully they won't recommend anyone either! If you need your auto glass replaced DO NOT use Nelson Glass! read more
