With insurance companies, denying claims or increasing premium rates, it's definitely worth it to go have chips fixed so they don't become cracks. I drive a Tesla and drive all over the state for work, And insurance companies are increasingly tough on Tesla rates, so I'm glad to know there's a place like this that will do a reasonable windshield replacement for my model three if I need replacement in the future. Horrible, I will not argue with horrible work and horrible customer service. My insurance took them off their list! I had a horrible job done on my jeep, there was broken glass all over my driveway and car. (It was unbroken) Then the "owner" of the company was very unprofessional by not only putting our conversation on speaker phone for the whole office to hear but by telling me that "if I think I can do a better job then I should do it myself" I would never ever go to them ever again. I would never let them step foot on your property unless you want a half done job and broken glass left all over your property. I had my agent take them off their recommended list. I had to replace the windshield on my BMW last summer a west valley shop when a chip on the drivers side turned into a crack and started working it's way across to the passenger side. It was such a painful process with all the safety system calibrations that when I got another chip shortly after, I promised myself to get it fixed ASAP before it could spread. And then I waited. And waited. But fortunately, it didn't spread and I finally decided to quit stalling and made time to fix it. I found AGE by Yelp search since it's close to my work, and I went by on Wednesday (the 17th) to get an estimate and booked an appointment for the next day (18th). The tech gave me clear expectations that the chip would be filled but would still be slightly noticeable. I accepted, they got to work, and I was out the door in less than 30 minutes. It looks fantastic, and I don't think I would notice the repair unless I knew where to look. So expectations exceeded! I wish I had written the techs' names down to give proper credit, but frankly the whole experience was just fantastic. Plus, Ashlie gave me a referral for an upholstery repair shop since I need to get a worn spot on my seat fixed too. Great service! read more

Wow! These guys are the best! I called at 1:30 pm on Friday afternoon after our windshield was demolished by a chunk of tire on the 202. I spoke to Phil, the owner, and he originally said his next available appt was on Tuesday, but when I told him we just couldn't wait that long, he asked me to explain the damage, and asked where we were located, and then said he was going to first, see if his could source the glass, and second, reach out to his technicians and see if anyone would be willing to come install it. An hour later he called to let me know he was still trying to find the glass and was waiting to hear back from his guys, who were all out on jobs. Another hour later, he called and said he found the glass, and one of his guys was willing to come by first thing Saturday morning...on his day off...and do the installation. At 7:45 Saturday morning, I got a call from Rod who said he just picked up the glass and would be at my place in 25 minutes. I ended up chatting with him the whole time he did the install! He had such great things to say about the owner and his experience working for AGE. Phil not only treats his customers well, but his employees too. No thanks to the trash and debris on the Phoenix freeways I had to have my windshield replaced. My Ins company gave me three names, I called the first one (be-- glass) and they told me the windshield department was not available (???) and could they call me back later. Next I called Auto Glass Excellence, they answered promptly, asked a few questions and said they could come out the next day (today). while I was on the line they called my insurance claims office to get the authorization.Once that was done the appointment was confirmed. Today the tech arrived at the promised time. He was very professional (name was Rigo).He was quite appreciative that we had left the car in the garage facing out so he could work in the shade. He said it would take about 45 minutes and slightly less that he was done. The window went in without any issues and afterward he gave us some tips for what not to do for the next 24-48 hours. The window sparkles and there was no trace except for the blue tape that anything had been done. The other glass company eventually called us back and left a message saying if we needed anything to give them a call - no thanks I already have a new windshield. This is my idea of a best practice of a service provider. One call, appointment made, arrival as promised, quick and efficient replacement by a very friendly and professional tech. read more

My State Farm rep suggested we use AGE to replace a windshield a few years ago. And I remember them doing good work, so I saved their contact information. However, the last time I replaced the windshield on our Acura, we used someone else, and I regretted it. Because of the way a windshield is bonded into the body of the car, it becomes a stressed member of the body/frame. After our last windshield replacement, I could hear a creak and groan from the windshield area of the car every time we pulled over the curb into the driveway. It drove me crazy. Recently my Kia's windshield needed to be replaced. Having worked for Safelite for many years I knew not to call them and since I am not familiar with the other auto glass companies in the area, I called my insurance agent for a couple of recommendations. I picked Auto Glass Excellence and couldn't have made a better choice. I called and spoke to the sales agent, Steve. We discussed the types of glass available today and I told him that since I was looking to sell my car shortly, I was hoping to get dealer glass instead of OEM or aftermarket. He then passed me to Danielle in the customer service department who worked diligently to get me the glass I desired. Once secured, an install date was set and Crisanto Noriega came out to do the install. He even called to let me know he was on his way! Earlier I said I knew better than to call Safelite and that is because their technicians are under such pressure to meet quotas that often the job done is less than adequate. Crisanto's work was superb! He took exceptional care not to damage the headliner or dash and the install shows no signs of sealant spilling over. Often with windshield replacements you get air and/or water leaks. Crisanto's install shows no signs of either. I wasn't surprised to learn that Crisanto has been performing auto glass installs for decades. It shows in his work.
