On every occasion she got us appointments that worked great for me in regards to day and timing. I mean almost immediate appointments were scheduled after receiving some good news -a quote that was easily $100 lower than a competitors price for the passenger window. A few hundred dollar difference for the windshield too. Upon return my windshield had been repaired t no cost due to their new replacement warranty. I was so pleased with the communication and service from this company. As a side note, I'm not sure what See N Clear billed my insurance carrier but it was over $1000 and shows as an accident that has affected my coverage rating. Be aware. Overall, I am very pleased with service from their office and tech but concerned about the $1000 ding to my vehicle vin report which affects underwriting and value when I decide to sell or change insurance carriers.

What was the most helpful that he called my insurer while I was on the phone with him. My insurer told me that the crack had to be larger than a silver dollar to cover replacement. They went on to say that Blue Chip was not a partner of their insurance company. I asked the insurer if that meant that they wouldn't cover the windshield if Blue Chip replaced it. John promptly jumped in and told me that the windshield would be covered 100%, but that the warranty would be covered by Blue Chip rather than my insurer. I appreciated the clarification. He told me that there would be zero out of pocket cost to me. The insurer told me that the repair would be covered and John did the rest (which was literally everything). Blue Chip replaced the windshield right in my driveway, again, at no cost to me. The service tech, Dan, was on-time and went out of his way to answer my questions, like calibration of the camera. Since my vehicle was newer, it had a camera for emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, which required calibration by an authorized tech when the windshield was replaced. Blue Chip took care of that as well. Dan showed me where the camera was mounted and why it needed to be calibrated with the windshield change. Dan was professional, competent, fast and friendly. They wanted me to come back a THIRD time to have one of their "better" installers do the work, but I accepted a refund and sincere apology instead. The first time I was in, the installer soaked my armrest so badly it made my shirt wet and caused damage to the arm rest material. A different company had zero problems and took a fraction of the time at a lower cost. I personally asked the installer for the different company if there was anything difficult and he looked at me confused. He said there was no problem tinting the windshield. Therefore, I feel like Xclusive lied to me and was using subpar installers. The only positive thing to share is that the tint on my side and back windows came out nicely.

At the appointment, I was told my car was not showing the correct model for repair and they didn't have the part/glass. They told me that they would reach out to the dealer to verify and obtain the correct glass/windshield. This all seemed reasonable. I also called State Farm and to make sure the year/make/model was correctly submitted, since this seemed like the insurance's fault. I was told to wait until at least 11/17 to call back. I called on 11/19, and they told me that everything was set and they could send a mobile technician on 11/20. I get a call on 11/20 from the technician saying that they should not have scheduled me for an appointment since they didn't have the part and to call back in around 2 days. Unexpectedly I get a call around 8 am on 11/21 saying a technician is on their way, and I ask specifically if it's the correct year/make/model and he says the appointment was set likely because the windshield had arrived. He arrives and says that the glass is for the incorrect car. I wait until 11/24 to call again, I am told everything is ready and scheduled for the technician to come on 11/25. He starts the repair process and the windshield is apparently for an incorrect year, so it couldn't be completed. This should have been verified first. I'm just frustrated that I've been getting these appointments, and there's no communication or coordination among their team members. I've been on strings of night shifts for work and it's really difficult to be staying up for the appointments and I'm just trying to get this repair in a timely manner. I ultimately decided to call my insurance and requested a different autoglass repair company.
