I already knew that the atmosphere is great when I come in for work. But the time I came to this place as a customer was also a really great experience. I had lunch with a friend here and when she asked what's good on the menu, I told her she should try the Northwest Traditional because my peers and KM told me it's the store's best seller. As expected, the cooks did not disappoint! Shoutout to Alex and Izzy, and I'm not sure if there was a third guy on the pizza station that day. The crispiness of the crust was on point, and the toppings really satisfied our tastebuds. Perfect temperature, great blend of products, and so on. My friend absolutely loved her food! The Northwest is a new personal favorite of mine and so I have it for my kitchen meal... if I'm not in the mood for their tasty chicken tenders tossed in hot and tangy sauce with BBQ sauce on the side. Also shoutout to Ariel for being an awesome server. She is amazing at accommodating us with our orders, great with her job overall. I think other customers will love her too. Save your money and go to Trackside Pizza. The waitress gave the people behind us over the top service then came to us with the bare minimum. I received water instead of iced tea, but was charged for the tea. We weren't even offered a pizza box for our leftovers. Instead of disputing the bill and waiting for our server, we just wanted to leave because the service was terrible. The waitress basically ran past our table and was barely present when she stopped by. Don't say "oh she was probably busy". No! Friendliness goes a long way! The pizza is also meh. read more

I instantly thought this time would be the same because I had to stand in the front for a good two minutes before anyone acknowledged my existence. SUGGESTION: Every employee should be charged with greeting someone standing in the front with a "Hi! Welcome to Farrelli's" or "Hi! I ordered a chop chop salad and wasn't told until they brought it out 45 minutes later they have no lettuce so they made it with spinach. Wow! I have had few experiences at any food establishment ever like this, probably never! It was my first time at Farrelli's and I am ashamed to the fact I have never stopped before. Although it was after lunch, mid afternoon, I believe the experience would not have changed. We were treated with kindness and a smile by all personnel representing the great food served. We sat in the bar and were treated like royalty by the staff and all the customers had a friendly attitude which was obviously promoted from the management and the staff. We had a hard time deciding on the pizza and finally settled on the "Northwest best" voted pizza. It truly was a delight to the palette. It was on a specially proofed dough fired cooked to perfection topped with Italian sausage, pepperoni, basil, red pepper flakes, mozzarella, provolone, drizzled with a honey cream cheese sauce....to die for!!! read more

Yay! I really do enjoy this establishment. I have been to other Ferreli's before too and noticed that the staff here at this location really makes this place unique. I have observed that they seem to know their clientele pretty well, giving that personal touch. I'm very opinionated (surprise Yelpers!) on the food I eat even though I eat everything in my path. I really am particular with Italian foods and have paid some really good money in many places around the country to find good ones. That being said, I really do enjoy their Spaghetti with meatballs. I realized recently that the tomato soup also has that creamy flavor with herbs too. It's definitely not your average spaghetti, it actually has a unique taste as well as the meatball being seasoned well also. I went back and tried their Alfredo with no surprise that it was also yummy in my mouth. Thank you! I played pull tabs and had a drink at the bar once at this place and everyone seemed to be excepting and friendly. Service has always been prompt and attentive with every visit I have made to this establishment. The atmosphere is clean, open, lots of TV's at the bar, friendly, great place for people to meet up, and just plain old down to earth as well. What a great place to visit. Note, I did not personally have the nachos but the person I went with did comment that the chips were the cheapest most plain chips in nachos that they had ever eaten and could not eat her meal because of this. When I pay $48 for two GF pizzas, they better be be PERFECTION and these pie's SUCKED! The crust on the bottom was like biting into a soft slice of bread, the toppings were almost flavorless and the cheese was barely melted and lukewarm. Knowing the spot in Tacoma is pretty big for the college crowd, I wasn't sure if I'd be into this place or not. I wanted to go to my usual haunt but it seems my friend has reasons for not being able to return. Anyways, we hit the place to catch the seahawks, have a bite to eat and play some pool. Seahawks were on every screen except one, which was nice, no matter where you turned, game was on. The echo effect from every TV being a few frames off from the next made it seem like you were actually in a stadium. I'm not sure if this was a good thing or not... Anyways, me and the ole' lady ordered some food while my friends kept to the drink section of the menu. Which was good for us since all sunday is happy hour and I was able to score some nachos for $4 and a soda for $2.60 and was bottomless and I took complete advantage of that. As for the food, my girlfriend got her salad pretty quick, but our hot food took ages. I'm thinking 20 minutes or so, no joke. It wasn't even busy as far as I could tell. I had some nachos and she had two slices of pizza, cheese pizza. So that was kind of a bummer. Drink refills weren't too bad, one refill was a bit extended, but I've had much worse at other places. But yeah, after our wait, finally got to dig in. By the way, girlfriends salad was good and her pizza was as well. My nachos? Worst I've ever had, period. I finished them, not going to just waste food, but seriously, last time I ever get nachos there, if I make it back. All nacho cheese and then a little burned on top. I dunno, maybe I'm used to something different, but not what I was expecting, but decent for $4 I suppose, portion size was nice, just not good on the palette. Pool tables were nice. A little cramped and had to keep asking people to excuse us while we took shots. When chairs are a little more than a foot away, just too close. Games were $.75, which is too much for me. Sure, tables were nice, but damn. I'm more of the hole in the wall bar that has games for $.25 or sometimes $.50. Whatever. Anyways, place was decent. Not sure if I'll go back or not, will try something else on the menu if I do. Oh and the staff was pretty cool, no complaints there. We came here on a weekend for lunch. They had decent pizza, and it was honestly better than I had expected. I thought the crust was good and it wasn't burnt (which is always feared with wood fire pizza). I liked the vegetarian pizza with the pesto sauce, it was pretty yummy. Service was friendly but slow and inattentive, even though the place was pretty empty and well staffed. The poor service seems to be the trend across reviews... perhaps a little less talking and a bit more working would help their ratings here! The restaurant has lots of TVs so it seems like a great place to catch the game and is equipped with a full service bar. I've only ever come here because my friends want to after work and always recommend doing such on Sunday night because all day happy hour. The service is just... so lacking. They aren't friendly and they're very slow even if they're not busy. The food is just above being mediocre. We usually have one female server when we go, can't stand her but she seems to be the only one. Tonight my friend and I had a male server, he seemed a bit better and more competent, though haste of service still lacked. We were really excited to come to here, we normally go to The Rock but now after our visit, I wish we would have. This was a anniversary dinner for my husband and I. First off, your host sat both my husband and my infant in the way back toward the bathrooms, not a big deal but we were the ONLY ones back there, and it was cold, where in the front there was lots of seating, and it was warm, and there was people out there. Now I took this as they didn't want us out front because we had a infant, which actually she did great the whole time, we don't take her out to a public restaurant unless we know she'll be good. Then your service. We were given a young, taller, blonde male with glasses to serve us. He showed up to say hi and order drinks and appetizers, then our meal, and then didn't come by until we were completely done, which we needed refills in between that timing. We believe in good tipping but he received the worst tip we have ever given. Didn't come back once in between getting our food and the check for refills, to ask how our meal was or if we needed anything else. Food was excellent. But for the price we paid ($65+) and the service we got. We will take our business to The Rock like we normally do. Shoot we should have just went to our normal sushi place and spent that money because it literally felt like a waste because of the service we were given. But we were trying something new for a change. I hope this isn't how your establishment works all the time. Their management has reached out to me and we will be giving them another try. But for right now my 2 star rating still stands until I see if the service is better. read more

We went for my 36th birthday, we eat here often, and I knew our kids can get something they like as well. They have gluten free pizza crust (I have celiacs disease), has been great in the past. Didn't get to eat as my pizza came out ice cold both times. Everyone else's was hot, but I didn't get to eat on my birthday. Sucks, who wants cold meat and cold pineapple on their pizza? No one. Boy, has this place gone downhill. When it opened a few years ago, the food was polar opposites than it is now. My small pizza was still a lump of dough anywhere but the crust. And it was 45 minutes after I ordered it. My friend's date got her salad order delivered wrong twice and refused to send it back again. She was hungry. The service was poor and the waitresses need some lessons on etiquette. Yes, it was a busy Friday night, but this should not be an excuse. Farrelli's could have been so much better, I think. It's not that the food was bad, it was just...lacking. A salad with avocado in the title had one tiny sliver of avocado in it. A calzone requested without black olives had a number of stray black olives floating around inside. Another salad had massive quantities of one ingredient and hardly any of another. We probably could have forgiven all of this except the service was really and truly terrible. We were one of four tables in the entire restaurant and it took way too long for everything. They have a create your own perfect pizza menu where you can choose from 1-5 gourmet toppings.. many different types of pizza bases, cheese, meats and ingredients. They also have their signature pizzas if you're not to picky. :) i absolutely enjoyed every slice! One time I even ordered it to go for my road trip down to San Francisco, California. I really enjoy the food here which is why we keep coming back. Our service has been very friendly, but lacking in the attention department. It seems we always know when to hit it just right so we are seated next to large groups and kinda lost in the commotion. On our most recent visit we were seated in the back corner and ordered the Tuesday night Family Special that included a 16" Pizza, a family size salad, and breadsticks. In addition to that my son ordered the spaghetti because he wasn't in the mood for pizza. To drink we had a root beer, a regular beer, and a sampler with a request to be surprised and a hint that I am partial to wheat beers. Our beverages arrived and all seemed well even though there was not a single wheat beer in the variety mix, the others were okay. My son decided to wait until he got his main course to drink his soda. The salad and plates were delivered. We had to flag down someone to ask for salad tongs (read as yell out when someone eventually walked past). Our pizza and spaghetti arrived and we dug in. While eating his dinner, when my son went to take a drink of his soda he realized his glass was not clean. He finished his meal as did I. When they eventually came to check on us, I asked for the soda to be removed since he had a few sips and we were essentially ready to leave and I also asked for a glass of water. When we got the check I did not look at it super closely, only to check if the root beer had been removed and then I paid. It was while the boys were going to warm up the car that I realized we had not gotten the special and we had overpaid in general. Annual visit to my brother and his family's who have lived here for over 15 years. First time trying Farrelli's which everyone around here raves about. I don't know why because this was highway robbery. It tasted ok but it was way too doughy and there weren't nearly enough toppings to justify paying over $50 for one large and one medium. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because we ate it. You'll eat anything when you're starving. Costco pizza is better than this. Save your money. read more

Farrelli's is definitely one of the best pizza places around. The pizza is delicious and baked fresh. They have a lot of different toppings to choose from. Their cheesy breadsticks are pretty good but I love the garlic bread that comes with the kids meal. They have a pretty good rewards program and they also have a military special on Sundays. The kids meal gives you a bunch of food and a good sized snack while you wait. If they are busy they bring out dough for them to play with. I've never had to wait long or had any reason to complain. We go here often and we will definitely be back! read more

The table (for 10) was ready on-time and the server was very helpful and she did a great job splitting the bill amongst our 4 parties. The pizza was great and timely. I understand why they call it happy hour now. My taste buds were definitely happy. I got the bread sticks which were fantastic. The cheesy-garlicy taste was a perfect match. I also ordered the James favorite which has an alfredo sauce, sausage, chicken, basil, garlic, and of course cheese. It became Zachs favorite as well. It was awesome! The wood fired touch was a great accent to the flavor. The only downside is that the house salad (which my girlfriend ordered) is not that great without the meat. We had our rehearsal dinner here, got married down the road at Windmill Gardens...It was a Thursday and it was much busier then we anticipated. There were about 15 of us and we gave them tons of notice. We were put "up stairs" which just means up the landing... We weren't the only people up there. Service was VERY SLOW in the beginning and we suspected it was because gratuity would be included in the bill (as we were a large party)...He picked it up later but they then the damage was done. The service was pretty solid especially considering she had a large group of us by herself. I ordered a personal pizza on happy hour. It was pretty tasty.
