We have been trying to go to restaurants during the pandemic to help them stay in business, but we will not go here again. We love the location and the food however the management is lacking. We arrived expecting to wait a while on a nice sunny day which was fine. We put our name in and were told there would be an hour wait for outside and 15 minutes inside so we decided to eat inside. There were SEVERAL tables available outside the entire time we waited (not including the COVID buffer tables in between the regular table). My husband asked if there was a way we could sit outside since there were so many tables open and they said no they needed those open for the kitchen. (Only 20% of the restaurant was occupied, so how was the kitchen backed up?) We noticed MANY people walking around the restaurant without masks on. We asked the hostess why they were allowed to do that since they have a sign posted that says you have to wear a mask. She said it was hard to catch them if they get up to use the restroom or something. Well there was an entire family of 6 waiting inside without masks on right by the entrance. They also were SEATING people without masks. The kitchen staff did not have their masks on all the way either. We witnessed over a dozen people inside walking around without masks. No, we are not the "mask police," but we do want restaurants to be able to remain open and it was disappointing to see Farrelli's not abiding by the mandate. We tried to keep an eye out for the manager to have a discussion but we didn't see anyone that looked the part. I hope they get their act together before they are shut down completely. It's sad we even have to worry about it, but it is necessary right now. The server was very nice and the food was good, but there needs to be a stronger management presence. read more

Probably the worst place I've ever been the food was great but the people working definitely are not they are incredibly rude and had so much attitude read more

We had an issue they fixed it... and we could not be happier. I have been in the bizz for a very long time. And Madison came through with what she said. We probably will not go to Rustin. But summner has never let us down. Madison tha nk you read more

Ive been here more than 10 times and usually it's alright service but i know it's not always the best cause of how busy they are. We got here this time at 9 knowing it closed at 10 so we knew we needed to order quick. The waitress took 30 minutes to come take our drinks and still didn't want us to order our food yet. 940 came around & now we had to do take out. our server MADISON cancelled our orders except one. This was a bad experience & i'll never be back. Going to the 6th ave one from now on. Why do they not have any managers on duty either? She also had a big attitude with us when we were trying to be patient. NEVER AGAIN read more

Took the family to Ruston to eat here and had an absolutely amazing experience. The pizza itself is a tad on the pricey side but we had FANTASTIC service and our kids absolutely loved getting a chance to make their own mini pizzas! The waitress was kind, patient, and funny and did a great job handling the kids (who pretty much started making messes and spilling things immediately after we sat down). I like their different pizza selections and we also ordered the nachos which were worth every penny. Great experience from start to finish and we'll definitely be back soon. read more

Great family atmosphere. Good appetizers and reasonable prices. Server was attentive and timely. Will come back for the pizza

I usually do not review like this. Food was burnt service was slow and not polite expensive for what you get. Very salty food. Rude servers when you can get a server. read more

We have been to the restaurant on 6th Ave many times and have liked it but this one was bad from the beginning. We brought a family party if 8 for a late lunch. The Hostess, Lexi was unwelcoming and rude, the food was horrible and the service was extremely slow.. we will not be back! read more

We tried to come in mid-afternoon today. My wife had been ahead of me but still wasn't seated. I joined her in the completely empty restaurant and was promptly informed that we should expect a 45 minute wait time. Eventually a second host/waiter informed us that because the outside patio and rooftop area were busy they wouldn't seat people at empty tables... wait time was 45 minutes (half hour for a table and 15 minutes for them to come back after being texted). The servers and hostesses felt that our intrusion and confusion on their workday was very annoying and we must be fairly stupid as they patronized us and talked rudely amongst themselves about how easy it should be for customers to understand simple English. At the end of the day I wanted to buy my kids some lemonade and my father in law a beer on a hot day. Even explaining we wouldn't order from the kitchen we were turned away. I don't know what we did to be treated so poorly or why we deserved to be mocked and maligned. Hopefully these staff members' behavior is corrected in the future... what a shame. read more

2 visits here, first visit was good, second was better. The first visit was during a busy time and the wait was too long from a customer point of view, the second was much smoother. Both times the good was great. read more

This is our fourth time visiting Farrelli's Pizza at Point Ruston. We sat at the rooftop bar and received excellent service from Ashley. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was tasty, but the star of the show was the chicken caprese pizza with basil. Who would have thought the drizzled balsamic vinegar on top of the pizza could taste so good? The atmosphere was lively and the service and food was wonderful! We'll be back! read more

We always loved Farrelli's on 6th avenue and in DuPont . Tonight at Point Ruston was a disaster! Chop chop salad was not chopped lettuce and ingredients. Served as a regular salad . The only thing chopped was the olives. Still tasty but not what we expected. The margarita pizza was SO overpriced and included small chopped tomatoes and a balsamic reduction! Yikes. We always love a good margarita but this was ruined and we left a big portion . Love the location, but the other places offer better food. Service was not that great . No one was very friendly. My plate was dirty. Asked for another and that was dirty also . Staff person said"oh, you want a clean plate?" This place doesn't have that team feel like the other locations. We won't go back . read more

Great service and view up on the top deck. We had a server named Taylor twice now.... she is so welcoming and efficient. Would definitely recommend to friends & family! read more

Staff was friendly from the host to the waitress. Service was excellent, very attentive but not overbearing. Restaurant was nice and clean, and the view is cozy and pleasing. The breadsticks were a delicious appetizer. We ordered a large pizza and it was very tasty as well, even though the crust was a bit dry. Definitely would come back as overall this place is awesome, however not often just because it's very expensive for pizza. read more

Horrible service.. Bartender was great but when we talk to the manager about waiting an hour for our food she did not seem to care. Could not wait to get out of there. I understand being busy but it was not that busy that it would take an hour to make a personal size pizza read more

Disappointing . Food takes hour, drinks 20 minutes . Food comes out burnt. Manager doesn't seem to care. Hard skip on this place until the owners hopefully clean house. read more

The absolute WORST service I have ever had. I got up and left before I got my food. Finished 2 large beers before a salad even came and still never got a salad. Pizza came out as i was paying for drinks and leaving. Told them to throw it out. Went to the clover leaf and had a much better experience! read more

The service here was the worst..me and a friend came to have a beer and appetizer before our movie that we had already paid for. We had 11/2hrs before movie. We go into the bar which was half empty and sat at bar thinking it would be faster. Bartender takes drink order right away and gets that. We look at menu and know right away what we want ..bartender continues to talk with the guest next to us all the waitress we try to get his attention finally after about 30mins we get to order our appetizer. We are 30mins in and about 20mins til movie ask if food isn't almost done he says oh I forgot to put in and runs away and puts the order in ..by the time we wanted to cancel he had already put in order. We had to cancel movie and there was no I'm sorry or anything ..finally get nachos and there burnt won't be back read more

we enjoyed out night out as a family affair. The pizza is always the best we have ever had. it we always order our own so we each get to take some home for left overs. we enjoy the wait staff who are always so helpful when ordering. read more

Vegans rejoice! Farrelli's will make your pizza with Daiya. I've taken out twice and dined-in once. The pizza is delicious. Soft, doughy but light crust, with the right amount of crisp on the outside. Fresh tomato sauce and plenty of veggie toppings. I recommend roasted garlic, spinach, fresh basil, black olive and balsamic drizzle. Five stars for the pizza. Dining in on a Friday evening though was a bit too sports pub and not enough dinner date. TVs and patrons were quite loud, which is fine for Sunday afternoon football. Staff was friendly though. We'll dine in again and DEFINITELY order take out often. read more

PSA: They no longer offer happy hour on weekends. A group of us longboarded down Point Ruston, so we could enjoy Farrelli's Sunday happy hour and low and behold they've decided to get rid of it. We sat upstairs on the patio, looked at the usual HH menu and didn't see weekends mentioned. We were just there two weeks ago so we asked the waitress if it was still all day Saturday and Sunday happy hour and she informed us they changed it about a week ago. So we ended up finishing the beers we already ordered and moved over to Wildfin which has a great Sunday happy hour. read more

I've never felt like I needed to write a negative review on a website before, but the lack of teamwork, attentiveness, and urgency that the bar servers exemplified tonight is definitely going to foreshadow whether or not they will make it during the summer time. And as someone who has been everything from a host to a bartender for the last several years, I know a thing or two about being busy and exceptional customer service. So here's why the service was unacceptable: A group of 3 and myself sat down at a bar table in the evening this Friday. The only table that was open had pitchers of water and pint glasses for a party that was being held there. I know as a server how annoying it is for someone to sit at a dirty table, but we had no choice. We sat there for 10 minutes before David came to our table, didn't say a word, cleared the pitchers off, and walked away. We sat, and we sat, and we sat, as all the other tables got greeted, then got drinks, and ordered food. I observed everyone, as they walked at a pace that was less than deliberate. David walked by our table multiple times and didn't have a care in the world. I get it, he might not have been our server, or in the weeds, or just in a shit mood.. but man it sucks to be ignored. And as a management team, I would be so disappointed in the lack of customer service that your team displayed tonight. read more

It took 25 minutes before the waiter even asked for our orders; it wasn't even busy at the time.

This was a delightful visit! My husband and I got away for a date night on a Friday night, it was super busy for the restaurant. The hostess told us we can try sitting at the bar which we did and it was great. We sat at the table that had a fireplace in the middle, super cute! We had margarita pizza and some hot wings yummy!!!!!!! And drinks were great. The waitress was really nice and helpful. We received our food fairly quickly. Great location! Enjoyed the evening walk afterwards. read more

ate at the Ruston branch on Thursday evening. fast. friendly service by a server who took time to talk to us (Britt?), good quality pizzas that were of good value. would recommend. thanks. read more

We had absolutely fantastic service and the pizza was super yummy! Oh and the view from the restaurant was AMAZING!! Love this place

Nice location and very good pizza. The wait for food once checked in is long, even when the restaurant is only about filled. Our drink order was messed up and the check was messed up too. The servers are generally friendly. read more

The view is superb on a sunny day in Tacoma! But the service definitely has some figuring out on to do on the top deck. Admittedly we went on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon, so it was fairly busy but the service was super slow (we bused our own tables after 20 mins of waiting). However the waiter also described the Italian Lettuce Wraps as nothing like what they were (we ended up getting our meals comp). But considering the fact that it only recently opened, it will hopefully shape up and find itself like the others in the area. read more

Terrible experience. Walked in and took 10 minutes to even be greeted by a host. Soda was flat. Took 45 minutes to get a couple of personal pizzas and pasta. Food was cold. Waited 20 minutes to get the check. Will never be back. Only good thing I can say, the view is really pretty by the water. read more

I usually like Farrelli's pizza but this time the over all experience was *ucking terrible. To start off they had me *ucked up waiting in the lobby for over 10 min until I get up and see where the workers are. Then I walk up to some area of the bar and ask if we order here or do we sit down. She looked mad and confused but, don't you think me and my girl should be mad about waiting 10 min because y'all don't even have a host up front doing her job. When we go to sit down it takes about 20 min just for someone to give us some effing utensils and a menu... and the whole time we where waiting I see a group of girls from the Farrelli's staff just gossiping and having a good ol time. The blonde server was just walking around acting like she's writing something down then next minute go back to the girls gossiping. And then while all of this happens I'm still in the booth with no menu in my hand. And to keep in mind, we had to be at a movie on time and it takes over 20 min to get a frickin menu. Never going back to this one on Ruston again!! Ashely K needs to pull out all those gift cards for me because I will not be seeing those type of people run our local pizza place. read more

This place has better service than Wildfin (across the street) you can be sure of that! We had the chicken barbecue pizza washed down with a constantly refilled fountain beverage! What a treat! Good food plus good service amounts to an excellent restaurant experience. Thank you Farrelli's! read more

So I went to this location with my fiance and her three sisters not only to be sat 10 minutes after walking in while it was completely dead. We figured ok no big deal hoping the food would make up for lack of service however after sitting for 20 minutes outside without so much as being offered waters we finally had to go and retrieve the server ourselves. When the server finally came to take our order we were informed she was training and there would be two servers helping us, that was definitely worse then it sounds. Took our drink order and our food order we had to wait about an hour to get our food. Didnt get checked on once during that time not even to let us know our food was coming shortly and we hadn't been forgotten. When we finally received our meals it was lackluster and cold. Service 0 out of five food 1 out of 5. Wouldnt return if it was all going to be free. Leaving very irritated we decided to walk around the beautiful shops and explore, we happened back around the restaurant 40 minutes later to find our table STILL HADNT BEEN CLEANED!! This place just either had a bad day or they dont understand what customer service is. Zero tip and would give less stars if it were an option. Never again. Bye. read more

Quite possibly the worst service I have ever received at any restaurant ever. First of all, it took over an hour to get our table. We sat down at a communal table to wait for our spot and one of the other customers got upset and flipped us off and called people in our party names. We brushed it off because we aren't about to fight an old man. After they left the waitress came over and reprimanded us telling us that we were encroaching on their space even though it was a communal table that the host told us was open and free to sit at. We spoke with the manager and got a new waitress, the original waitress came and apologized but was still very rude. When we placed our order (finally after 2 hours of waiting) she told us that they can't customize any of their specialty pizzas and that we had to order as is. Overall the experience was very poor and we will not be going to this location ever again. It's a bummer because it's prime location and a beautiful restaurant, but poor quality service and very low quality food for the expensive price. read more

We went to farellis late Thursday night and we had dalton as our server. He gave us the best service we have had at any restaurant that we have had in a very long time. Even though it was almost closing time he still treated us extremely well! The food was perfect and service even better! We attended this place fairly often and his service was the best we have had there! Thank you dalton! read more

After waiting over an hour for a table, (not their fault), we were seated and ordered. It took about 25 minutes for drinks, and then an hour and twenty minutes for the food. The puzza crust was burned. Kids meals were not the type kids would eat. More like adult foid. Not ready for prime time. read more

I have eaten here with family and friends and had no issues with service. Great food and drinks. Also great when sitting outside.

What you've been seeing is true, the horrible service here is not worth the great location and views. If you do decide to risk being reprimanded by servers and verbally assaulted by other patrons and have the staff refuse to do anything about it, I recommend requesting Ashley as your server. She is friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and possibly the only cheerful staff member at the establishment. Avoid everyone else. read more

The pizza is alright, but the big bummer here is that happy hour is only able to be used in the bar area. It's a bummer that a family with a baby cannot take advantage of happy hour pricing. At many other restaurants, this isn't the case. I would rather go to The Rock, as I can get appetizers and drinks at happy hour prices without sitting in the bar area. read more
