The food was okay. Hamburger meat was good but the bun was dry and sauce was bland. My burger was a blue cheese with bacon but the blue cheese was mostly absent. Too bad. The regular fries were over salted and the truffle fries were really not good. Seemed like flavored powder. I was disappointed. The shake was overly sweet. I only tasted the chocolate and peanut butter and banana. Of course, that is very tasty but overly sweet and the ice cream seemed not even to exist. Everything is expensive but that would be fine if the food was exceptional but that was just not the case. The service was very friendly and good. Kudos to the staff. The space is huge. It is attractive and the noise level is pretty good for the number of people in there. High ceilings help. One problem with the number of people though is there are only two unisex toilets available and my wait time was ten minutes. Stopped here for a quick dinner on a Thursday evening, it was decently busy but not packed. The food arrived much quicker than I expected it to and tasted great. I tried the Sea Dog (essentially a hotdog-style fish sandwich) which was fresh and piping hot. The sage margarita was refreshing in the summer weather. We had a table inside and it was a long time until a server took our order. The prices seemed expensive but it IS Ruston Way, so I thought the food and ambiance would be worth it. Over 50 minutes later after ordering our burgers came out and were mediocre. I had the bahn mi burger, it did have the bahn mi flavors but was lackluster. We were so hungry and ate these up quick! They had a variety of burgers to choose from so having the option to order a sampler and choose 3 different burgers was an amazing opportunity. My favorite burger hands down was the Bahi Mi burger. We came here for the "Whiskey" in the name so no food review here but I can speak to the wonderful and vast collection of Bourbon available. A few of my favorites were in the rotation but was a fan of the Larceny Barrel Proof. I generally like Barrel Proof profiles but Larceny makes an excellent selection. Besides the Bourbon selection, the service was great too. I can always appreciate a server who pays attention to you without pestering you. We were very fortunate to have an overall good experience plus parking was validated so you can't be mad at that. I want to come back to try the food (besides the dessert I received for it being my birthday). If you're looking for a place that has a vast selection of Bourbon and you're in the area, I would definitely recommend swinging by and giving it a shot. read more

They offer a daily creative slider and I was curious about the Bahn mi version, so Monday was Bahn mi day. I just wanted HH to check this place out. I substituted the taco cheese burger, so greasy that oil was dripping off and pooling in my plate, when I got home I took some Lipitor... never again. I also ordered the crispy cauliflower and expected a roasted seasoned product, received a battered deep fried greasy presentation...more Lipitor needed. I also order a flight of Rye whiskeys, then was told that one of the specified whiskeys was unavailable to they just used something else. Burgers joints shouldn't have an overwhelming smell of cleaning products, they should smell like burgers-especially when the open kitchen is literally at the front door. Managers shouldn't be visibly upset on the phone with an employee who is running late, they should be picking up the slack and running food. They shouldn't be telling customers there is a 30 minute wait TO SIT AT THE BAR THAT'S OPEN. I've heard the food is good and the whisky selection is pretty decent, but didn't get to try it because we didn't have 30 minutes to wait. Will update my review if I ever go back. read more

They have a variety of burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, whiskey flights, beers, etc. We ordered 2 burgers, 2 sandwiches and I had a small salad. The service was just okay. She didn't come around too often to check on us. I asked her about parking and she told me to go to the iPad at the entrance for it. When we paid our bill and went to the IPad, we were supposed to check in on it with our license plate at the beginning of the meal, not at the end! The waitress could've told us that when I asked about it. I called her over to the iPad and she told us we were supposed to do it at the beginning of our meal and we might have a ticket on our car. She acted like it wasn't a big deal but who wants a ticket?! That brought this review down a couple stars. The food was good, my small salad was delicious but my girls had a hard time eating the sandwich as it was too large. She ended up taking it apart to eat. My husband enjoyed the whiskey flight and my daughter enjoyed her beer. The dining experience was good until the end when we did the parking check in thing. Nobody said thanks for coming in or have a good day on our way out either, and we passed the manager and 3 staff members. Drinks took 15 minutes to get to us even though there were only two other tables in the entire building. The food did come out fast which was a plus. This place was soo good. My mushroom burger was so delicious I got it with the wagyu meat was well with a side of sweet potato fries. And my key we got the tacos. Stopped in for our first time on a warm weekday afternoon. We had a group of 8 and were sat in 15 minutes. Food: We all ordered burgers. We had the 571 burger, PB&J burger, blue cheese burger, and even the kids burger. We tried them all and in summary they are not that great. They were just an overpriced standard hamburger. The burgers were even on the dry side and didn't have a ton of flavor. Fries are definitely on point though with a really tasty aioli sauce. Service: waiter was always around when you needed him but was also rude. Definitely could use some better customer service.
