I really enjoy Stack 571 so much! I've always had the best service here. It was just me for Valentine's Day and I walked right in and sat myself at the bar. I decided to get a burger I've never had before and I got the Bahn Mi Burger and it was so flavorful and delicious! I love the spicy jalapeños, the cilantro and pickled daikon. It was not very busy there and it was around 130 in the afternoon. I love this restaurant and will definitely keep coming back for more! read more

Stack 571 is a gem! Britney and Liam are doing a phenomenal job over there. They do it all--hosting, serving, bussing, and even working behind the bar--like a big, wonderful collage of hospitality. They are so warm and friendly. They're making sure everyone is well taken care of! The long benches offer that cozy 'booth feel'. It can be a bit brisk near the mall entrance, so a light sweater is a smart choice. It's already a great spot for families; adding a few crayons for the little ones would make this nearly-perfect gem shine even brighter. First, I ate a Flight of Sliders: * The PB&J Slider: A curious treat! It could have easily been a dessert, like a sweet beef pastry. Perhaps a homemade jelly would help it find that happy, balanced medium between sweet and savory. * The Fatted Sow Slider: The bourbon-bacon slaw, or maybe it was the pickle, or marinated tomato had a bold tang that took center stage. I like pickled things, but I'm always looking for harmony where every flavor gets a chance to sing! * The Poutine Slider: this was my favorite out of the three. The gravy was smooth and the curds were rich. It was the most balanced of all. (It would be a fun spin to see those potatoes as deep-fried rounds or hash browns!) The flight comes with beer or a milk shake, they were out of the blonde options. So, I got a milkshake instead -- more sugary than mellow creamy/tart berries. Then we tried "Gettin Nutty With It" 5.5% ABV, a macadamia nut beer from Olympus Brewing. It was rich and brown, with notes of malt and caramel. My wife had the Three Pepper Bomb Burger, and it was the very best burger of all! Our little ones ate their kids' meals, and then--pop!--out came free sundaes. Went during happy hour on a Tuesday. Including us, they had 4 patrons from about 3:30-4:30. The food was good, but the place was messy. You'd think that they would take advantage of the lull in customers and make the place as clean as possible. There was food on the floor. Our table had crumbs. The glasses they provided were filthy - we had to request new glasses. And there was food and garbage on the seats. That should've been my sign to leave but we were hungry. Ordered 2 sow sliders, which were very tasty. The burger tacos were a great value and hit the spot. The loaded gorganzola waffle fries were ginormous! And they tasted great. Took most of that home along with some of the queso fundido, which was mediocre. Service was attentive but I really wish they would concentrate on cleaning up better. read more

Ok, so this burger joint in the mall is absolutely perfect for a day out with your partner. The food is perfect absolutely no notes, every flavor and texture profile is well defined and enjoyable. The cocktails are delicious and punchy. Service absolutely impeccable. The ambience is decent, their music choice could use some work. I think my only complaint would be the amount of fries with each meal for what is being paid. Potatoes are cheap, fill that plate up and get the lil cups outta here. Knock it off!! This was the best burger experience I've had in a minute. Got the slider sampler- bahn mi on a lettuce wrap (the only way to go) it was hecka perfectly spicy, the PB & J wowwwww yum and the fat lard? Gosh I can't remember what it's called. Lol - that one was good but didn't impress me enough to remember its name. Upgraded to the parm truffle fries YESSSS came with fried pickles (SO GREAT), 3 dipping sauces (sweet yummy, spicy walnut yummy, and rich amazing smoky one) and a triple berry milkshake. FRESH BERRIES and goodness in a glass. Other ppl in my party had other burgers and spicy chicken and they loved them. This is about me not them. The street corn (corn ribs) were good but you don't get much considering corn is so cheap that it's almost free. My wife and I ordered burgers. They were really salty. I think all the burgers they serve are well done. They weren't dry though (good fat content). The waffle fries had a great texture but salty. The regular fries were not salty and good. Stopped in for lunch while shopping. Service was great and the atmosphere was fine. I had the BLT with the fried green tomato on it. I think this was pretty good but it's hard for me to judge it fairly. I had burned the roof of my mouth really badly the night before and this toasted bread was murder on it. A fun place to stop before or after a movie next door. The service has always been good. The food is standard burgers, apps, etc. with some unique twists. I have tried a couple of the flights and some specialty drinks. It is open concept and not really set up for hanging out, which works if you are looking for a quick bite or drink at the mall. I miss P&Qs, which was more of a hangout vibe and someplace you would meet people for food and drinks without the movie or mall errands. I hope Stack can manage to stay open. We've been coming here for our date night once a month. My husband loves the boozy shakes (which is equivalent to two shakes). He always order the PJ and J burger cause he loves anything peanut butter. I normally get the Gyro burger because in Oly, there just isn't any good gyro places so their burger really hits the spot. I recently tried their sesame pork burger and holy moly is it good. I'm Chinese and there isn't really any good Chinese places in Oly either so their Chinese burger really hit the spot. I went here on a whim while in town for work and was NOT disappointed! I'm not a huge drinker but I do appreciate a good whiskey and their drink menu was extensive. We went during happy hour and got any Oregon whiskey at half off, which was a great deal. For food, I had their Fatted Sow burger and the parmesean truffle fries. They were amazing. It might be in the top 2 burgers I've ever had. The only downside was that it was really messy and I used like 5 paper towels, but it was totally worth it. It was a but spendy-the burger alone was $14 and thr truffle fries another $3. Even if you wanted regular fries that's still an extra $2. read more

The first time I came here the service was fantastic and the waiter was so pleased to here we liked his service that the manager came out to receive compliments. Then the manager said something rude and I know he didn't mean to, but I couldn't say anything nice about the place after that. The reason I returned though was because Stack is located near the Century Theater and my friends like meeting here before the show, so here we were again. One of the things I noticed from both visits is that the restaurant looks great and has the potential to be fun, but the food is just average and that makes the fun go away. The boozy shakes are fine, the happy hour menu has good choices but nothing amazing. The burgers are fine, but could be better. They lack that salty umami flavor that you want in a good burger. Still, it's a great location if you're waiting to go to a show and they have an outside patio if you want to eat outside when they weather is right. read more

My family and I recently dined at Stack and were helped by Savannah. With two kids under 10, dinner out can sometimes be a chore but this was not that. Savannah took great care of our whole family and provided fast and friendly service. The highlight of the experience came when it was time for the kids meal ice cream for my 6 year old. He asked if they had any sprinkles for the ice cream which Savannah communicated that unfortunately they did not. Upon bringing out the ice cream Savannah arrived with a bowl full of lucky charm marshmallows (my son's favorite) in lieu of sprinkles and it made my son's day. We were first exposed to the greatness of Stack 571 at their Vancouver location. Shocked to find this part of a mall. Nevertheless, we were pleasantly surprised to find a location in Olympia! It is one of our favorite burger spots so it was hard to pass up on an opportunity to sink out teeth into a juicy burger. The Three Pepper Bomb and the Bahn Mi Burger (on lettuce) are our favorites. You can't go wrong with any of the burgers. We also enjoy the brussel sprouts as an appetizer. To top of a great meal, their fresh milkshakes (strawberry) are always a good go to! I wish I could give a full 5 stars here. Maybe on a different day I could, but this is the first time here and well, the service was lacking. We had very long waits, and I didn't even get one of the items I ordered. That being said, let's look at the positive. The food was amazing. The selection of whiskies is astonishing. Not to be compared to some of the places I've been in Scotland, but for here, wow. Also, I don't find many bars that carry Drambuie. That's an added plus for me, but since they are a whisk(e)y bar, one would expect them to have it. Milkshakes with the option for shots. Yes please. I didn't get mine with a shot this time, but what an option. Today, my son and I had their Luck Charms S'Mores shake. I would like to end with the fact they have a Whisk(e)y passport. While visiting Olympia, I did a quick Yelp search and found Stack 571, so we decided to try it out. It is located just inside the Capitol Mall, next to the movie theater. If you're a sports fan, you don't have to worry about missing the game, there are plenty of TVs positioned throughout the eatery so you won't miss anything. The hostess seated us quickly, which was great, it gave us a little time to look over the menu. Once our server arrived, we ordered food, but I let him know that we wanted to order drinks, but weren't ready quite yet. Well. He didn't ever return. Our food was brought out by a different person and we didn't see our original server again until he brought the check. I ordered the 571 burger with the garlic fries. The garlic fries were verrrry dry and lukewarm. The burger was good. It wasn't over the top great, but it was good. My husband got the 3 pepper burger. He said it was average as well.
