Great addition to the Van Nuys Boulevard stretch between Oxnard and Victory. This is by far the best place to have come in the area in a long time. Decor is on point! This place has a better interior and ambiance than most places along Ventura Boulevard so bravo to the owners and designers! Staff is the overly warm, generous, and welcoming. Love walking into the place and seeing that the employees care about your experience. My boyfriend got the breakfast sandwich with eggs and bacon. I'm not a fan of bacon but this bacon was oh so yummy. Sweet with a maple flavor. I got the biscuits and gravy. I wouldn't go for this one again. Excited to have found this restaurant with lovely ambience in my new neighborhood. My first visit I enjoyed breakfast and the coco cafe - it was delightful. My second visit was today and I brought my family. I wanted to try a burger and was very excited that they offered gluten free buns! The food came and I noticed that the bun on my burger was huge and fluffy and I remarked, "wow that's a good looking gluten free bun!!!" Because normally, Gf buns as measly and flat. The server said, "that's not a gluten free bun." And proceeded to take my plate with the hot French fries. I grabbed my fries and waited for quite a while for my burger to return. When it returned with the gf bun, I was excited to try the bechamel sauce and Parmesan cracker in the burger. Sounded so flavorful. Unfortunately, my burger was absent of all flavor other than char. The bechamel was overcome by burnt flavor. The Parmesan cracker was rubbery. The pattie was overcooked, dry and black. I added salt and ketchup but couldn't get the charred taste out of my mouth. This place was awesome!! Traveling through LA on the way over the grapevine, we found this gem on Yelp. Didn't realize they were just about to close...the staff was really friendly and helpful. They didn't mind our lateness. I ordered the brioche French toast O M G!! So good . Melted in my mouth with a light dusting of powered sugar and shoe fresh berries. Were there for late brunch, technically late lunch. Ran into a big group of probably college students so it was relatively loud and food took a while. To a point some people started getting bagels and other baked items that were ready to be consumed near the cashier. I assume they normally don't take that long a time to cook? I was pretty disappointed at my avocado toast. I've never had it deconstructed like that. They literally gave 4 pieces of toasts and then 4 small containers with guac, 2 poached eggs (one of them was hard boiled), goat cheese and onion. The guac was good but honestly I did not pay to make my own avocado toast...and there was the egg that was hard boiled! Super disappointed. Food is good BUT I don't think they hold up to what the menu says. For instance, today I got "The Coop" that said it comes on a brioche bun (frankly the reason I got it) but once I took a bite, I realized it was just a hamburger bun! The interior of the restaurant has a cozy feel to it especially with the wood tables and the inside itself was pretty big too. You can definitely reserve a big party! The area was alright, not the safest place to be walking around, but it is fine for an LA local. As soon as you walk in, it's like you're in a different area. The interior of the restaurant is completely high end and renovated with great design and architectural beauty. The gentleman taking our order was so kind and friendly, he helped us choose what to get because everything looked so good! He even made my mocha coffee the way I asked for it. Coffee costs $3.50 and my concern with an establishment like Farm Table which feels too cool for school is that they would charge in some capacity for refills. Surprisingly, they do not, so that was nice! Staff and service were kind and attentive even as it was a bit unclear as to the degree of bussing of our farm table we needed to do. The prices are a bit high but given the feel of the establishment it isn't surprising. I was good with the experience especially since this was a rare occasion I found myself in Van Nuys. Street parking was available right outside of the establishment. $.50 for an hour covered our time enjoying our breakfast. Finally I had the chance to experience the Wonderful menu. We ended up dining inside, yelp said only curbside or pickup but to our surprise it was open for dine in. This is the first time actually over a year and the plan was to go to Norms but that place was so packed that we decided to leave. I had always been wanting to try this Restaurant from all the nice reviews on yelp. You place the order at the counter, they provide a number for any table that is available. My husband decided to order the steak and any style eggs along with your choice of cajun fries! The steak was well seasoned, very tender and juicy- no need for steak sauce. The cajun fries were perfectly crunchy on the outside and just the right amount of seasoning. I ordered the famous Brioche French toast, it was Deliciously sweet seasoned with powdered sugar! The right amount of Berries with maple syrup in the middle so that you can pour over or dip. I had the regular coffee with half and half- they provide it on a disposable container. I will definitely be back to try their other plate's on the menu. The plus is that there is free parking outside of the building and social distancing! read more

Got a brunch burger and chai tea Soooo yummy burger was perfect cheese melted perfectly. The tea was yummy too. I didn't get sides and didn't need it the burger was big. read more

I have been here a few times prior to covid and it was great, a lil pricy but great food and coffee. Went back today and paid $17 for the avocado toast that was to have avocado mash, lettuce, poached egg,...the works. What I got was extremely disappointing. There was a teaspoon of avocado mash, the poached egg was over cooked, the bread was so saggy and not toasted it must of been sitting in the kitchen long before it was brought to my table. I'm not one to complain to management but when you are paying $17, yeah I'm gonna say something. The manager did not even know what came on the toast himself....ate what I could and walked right on out. Waste of $27 between coffee and toast... read more
