Roast pork belly
Tiffany D.

For Cantonese food in Petaluma, this place is pretty legit! They have the BBQ meats hanging and that's when one knows, the Cantonese food will be pretty authentic. Even though it's next to a Quick shop seemingly looking like a 7/11, he interior decor of this restaurant, is well decorated for Chinese new year and clean for the most part. Their roast pork belly is tender and skin is extra crunchy. Do order their Lobster noodles! The lobster is superbly fresh and they even have the tank displaying the seafood! It's delicious and well worth the $30. My husband likes Westlake beef soup and it was on point. Their fresh steamed soy sauce fish was $60 per pound, which is way overpriced. It was probably priced that way because of CNY! We opted to just get their sea bass steamed collar. It was on the chewy side. I would skip it or order it another way like maybe in the clay pot. They have a sport's tv screen playing which helps with the ambiance as well as a screen of food photos next to the entree names, which was helpful! Service was attentive. They charge for tea. One can't be picky since this is the only Cantonese restaurant that is pretty authentic for this neighbor. They even had roast duck, beef stew daikon clay pot, bitter melon entree, bbq pork chopped to order, hot pot and etc. roast duck was a bit overrated. I've had better. Overall, if one is craving for authentic Cantonese food in Petaluma, go here!

I ate there Christmas Day with my daughter. Their food is addicting. Ate here with a friend today. We had sizzling prawns and scallops, steamed sea bass collar and vegetarian chow fun. Everything was delicious, the vegetables were perfectly cooked and crisp, the scallops were the best I ever had in a restaurant and the sea bass collar was so delicate and tasty. Can't wait to try other new dishes from their extensive menu. Service was warm and attentive. The restaurant is so clean and attractive and authentic,

The hot pot experience was above average overall. The broth had good flavor, though it wasn't anything especially memorable, and the ingredient selection was solid but fairly standard.

Great food and generous portions! The bbq pork won ton soup was huge and had a very generous portion of bbq pork; egg rolls were perfect and the xlb Shanghai soup dumplings were delicious! As usual, I over ordered! But leftovers were good next day

hot and fresh! taken on Sunday 01/19/2025 right when they open at 11:30 AM.

I got the BBQ port and roast port belly and salted fish with chicken fried rice take-away. I arrived at 11:30 AM on Sunday and they opened right on time. the BBQ meats are fresh and hot, not leftovers from the day before. Food taste authentic and spot on with Hong Kong style cooking. I am impressed. I wish they would open also restaurant in my home town of Concord. I will return next time i'm in Petaluma.

Had a great lunch today. The server was very attentive. The roast pork was marvelous - crispy skin, juicy and tender meat. The stirred fried beef Ho Fun was flavorful. The salted fish and chicken fried rice was tasty. Each grain of rice was coated deliciously.

I wanted hot pot, but I learned it's only served for dinner. So take note if that if you are looking for the same. I stayed and ordered one of their specials. It was the sea bass collar with tofu in clay pot. The brown sauce with the tofu was my favorite part of this dish. The BBQ pork buns were yummy! I recommend them!

This is an updated rating to my last review. The price increases are not reasonable even with inflation.

Unfortunately, they don't have any round tables for big groups, but they can accommodate at least groups of 8-10 because they put tables together for us to fit us in. We made a res because of our group size, and we had no issues being seated right away. They serve water vs hot tea, but the water glasses are big and they are constantly refilling! Super good service. We ordered a lot of dishes because we were a group of 8. We called ahead and special ordered jai (also called Buddha's delight) which is a common dish for Chinese new year. It's clear rice noodles with veggies and tofu skin. It was delicious! We also ordered the seafood platter, beef chow fun (small charge for the wide noodles instead of mein), salt and pepper fish, green onion pancake appetizer, Manchurian beef, another veggie platter (I think it was just a deluxe veggie dish), honey walnut prawns, and basil chicken which was not spicy in my opinion. All of the food was good. The Manchurian beef and salt and pepper fish breading was a little thicker than I like but the flavors were delicious. Support local businesses!

I got the pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, broccoli beef and moo shu pork. The moo shu was the standout, with the delicious plum sauce! Yum! I decided to grab lunch here after seeing the great Yelp rating. The place has a clean and colorful interior. I ordered the Mongolian Beef Lunch plate, and Iced Tea. I noticed this place has very attentive service. The iced tea was served in a carafe with a glass loaded with ice and lemon slices. The tea was strong, so when it was poured over the ice, it was perfect! The lunch included hot & sour soup. The Mongolian Beef lunch plate was presented with a balance of Mongolian Beef and Fried Rice. A fried won ton skin tops it off. Very good food. Very attentive service. Free 2nd glass of iced tea. It didn't appear like they have AC, since all the doors were open. This restaurant looks new on the outside, but looks "old-school" on the inside. The only thing missing was.....chopsticks on the table. I ordered: -Tomato Beef Chow Mein, $15.95, serves two. Very good Tomato Beef Chow Mein. Every piece of beef was tender and easy to eat. The chunks of tomato, bell pepper and onion were in small bite sized pieces. Perfect for eating with chopsticks. The sauce was tangy and lightly sweet. What was missing was the "Wok Hei." Aka...."the breath of the Wok," it's the unique smoky aroma that adds a special flavor to stir fry food. - Salt & Pepper Fried Chicken Wings, $17.95, 9 wings. To be clear, these are "flats."
