She had to see a nurse to get treated for the infection, but she's still currently in pain and could barely sleep, and when she reached out to the business directly, they offered her a $10 coupon for her pain & suffering (not even a full refund). Very disappointing and dishonorable nail salon!

I got out of the habit of getting manicures and pedicures because I did not like the service that I…read morewould get in nail salons. Today I was preparing for a special event so I decided to go to a local nail salon close to my job. I called on the same day and made an appointment for 2:30 that afternoon. When I got there they were ready to get started right away. The salon techs at the shop were very friendly and nice. She inquired about whether I had been there before and if I had any special requests. Their prices are clear and marked and they have a lot of different services to choose from. I chose to get the mint spa pedicure and a powder dip manicure. I absolutely loved the pedicure. There was a 10 minute massage included in my selection. When the nail tech moved on to my nails she took her time and made sure they were shaped perfectly for me. They offered me water and while my hands set with the color on them I got a shoulder and neck massage. The salon is new or renovated so it still has that feel to it. I loved the fact that there was no loud tv or radio, just soothing music. I will definitely go here again. Maybe become a regular.

I had just gotten my gel polish taken off so I wanted to give my nails a bit of a break between appointments. When I got there and tried to explain what I was looking for, they kept recommending a manicure. I told them no a couple of times and said if the nail can't be fixed, then I just wanted to cut nails down and get them reshaped since my natural nail was pretty long. The woman seemed annoyed that I wasn't getting a manicure and took me back. I thought she would ask me how long I wanted to keep them once we got back to her chair but before I could say anything she started cutting my nails completely off. She filed them for maybe 30 seconds, didn't brush my hands off or offer a space for me to wash them. She just stood up and said I was done and walked away. When I got to the front I was charged 10 dollars for something I didn't really want and could have done at home. I actually did have to refile at home because she barely touched my nails after cutting them off. The salon was really clean and seemed busy enough so I'm sure they do good work, it just didn't work out for me unfortunately. The man at the front was really nice and tried to understand what I was looking for as well but somewhere things got miscommunicated. I would be okay with that had the woman not seemed so annoyed about the whole thing.
