I went to Omina because I had broken a nail pretty low and wanted to see if there was anything they could do to fix it since it hadn't broken completely off, just about a quarter of the way. I had just gotten my gel polish taken off so I wanted to give my nails a bit of a break between appointments. When I got there and tried to explain what I was looking for, they kept recommending a manicure. I told them no a couple of times and said if the nail can't be fixed, then I just wanted to cut nails down and get them reshaped since my natural nail was pretty long. The woman seemed annoyed that I wasn't getting a manicure and took me back. I thought she would ask me how long I wanted to keep them once we got back to her chair but before I could say anything she started cutting my nails completely off. She filed them for maybe 30 seconds, didn't brush my hands off or offer a space for me to wash them. She just stood up and said I was done and walked away. When I got to the front I was charged 10 dollars for something I didn't really want and could have done at home. I actually did have to refile at home because she barely touched my nails after cutting them off. The salon was really clean and seemed busy enough so I'm sure they do good work, it just didn't work out for me unfortunately. The man at the front was really nice and tried to understand what I was looking for as well but somewhere things got miscommunicated. I came here after I got a bad manicure earlier in the day for a polish change. There was gel sticking to my cuticles that had gotten cured and it was already staring to lift. I booked a very last minute appointment and they got me in no problem. Quan did my nails and she did a great job. She got most of the gel that was stuck on my fingers off and did really good prep. I will say that my fingers did hurt a bit from some of the prep, but I think that was due to the fact that she had to get gel off of my skin with the tools. The reason I wanted to review is that in the middle of our appointment, the power went out, and Quan still managed to do a fantastic job! I have been going here for several months and the service is VERY inconsistent. I went on a vacation recently and got powder dipped nails and they chipped on day 2-3. I made the salon aware and they told me to come back within 3 days, and they would fix it, but I was in FL so that was not possible. The salon did give me 30% my next service, so I decided to give them another chance. I went this past Saturday and got a default manicure with dazzle dry and had an appt. The nail tech only spent 15-20 mins with me, I was rushed, my nails were not well done at all, and she forgot to put on a top coat. On Saturday morning my daughter and I went to Omnia. She got a manicure and pedicure and I got a manicure. By the afternoon my daughter's nail polish had chipped. I called the salon and the man that answered the phone said we could make an appointment to come back on Sunday. I explained that we got her nails done for the homecoming dance so that wouldn't really help. I asked for our money back for the manicure. He said he would check with his boss and get back to me. Lo and behold he did not get back to us and I'm pretty sure he is the boss. This is not the first time that service hasn't been that great. I sent them a message before and they never responded. Pros: clean, aesthetically pleasing salon. Convenient when booking appointments. There are some skilled techs but it can be hit or miss finding the good ones. Cons: they will nickel and dime you for even the slightest things! More than one color, a *slight* increase in length, choosing almond on a full set, etc. it's kinda absurd now how much they squeeze in an unknown fee. I recently paid $90 for a medium length set with a half French (one line on the side). They up charged me for the medium length (not long nails at all) and charged me full price for French even though I didn't get French. As much as I really wanted to like this place and make this my salon home, I can't get past the pricing. I've gone several times and minus minor mishaps with design flaws, I generally liked it here. Unfortunately, it's simply not worth the price so I'm choosing to go elsewhere from here on out. read more

I have been going there for a little while with my wife and each time has been a great experience. I personally go to Leda but she was not available for a walk in and the person that worked on my pedicure was great. She took her time, was relatable, and patient even towards the end of the day. My wife's tech Lee has always done a good job with her and jokes around with me knowing we come together. It is always a good a relaxing experience as well as a very elegant. First of all, not all of the techs are great. The good ones are excellent though. Bella and Angel are two great ones. The problem is, they nickel and dime you. The place is already SO much more expensive than other mail salons, so not sure why you have to pay $5 extra to trim your nails and then if you have the smallest lift, it's another $5 to fix ONE nail. The pros: 1) no wait time when you have an appt 2) nail salon is clean and higher end 3) you are in and out very quickly (at least with the techs I have seen) The cons: 1) PRICEY - esp with the nickel and diming. For reference, a nail fill with gel polish (I get liquid gel) and a regular pedicure cost me $111 before my tip. That's kind of absurd. Additionally, the pedicures don't include things like a sugar scrub unless you pay more. A regular pedicure is $39 and it's bare bones. I have yet to leave, but I'm on the verge. read more

I came into the salon as part of a wedding party. It didn't start off good and only went downhill from there. My pedicure water was cold and the tech never asked if the temp was ok, so I let that go. The first color I chose was not available, so I asked if he could find me something similar. He said yes and that he could match the gel on my fingers to the regular polish on my toes. I didn't think anything of it until I finish and walked outside. The lighting in the back of the salon is very different from the lighting in the manicure area. My toes were orange and my fingers pink. Not the end of the world, but not what I asked for. I have had gel before and never had a chip on 5 of 10 fingers in 4 days. I've always had excellent experiences with Omnia but today was an exception! I requested an ombré gel manicure and it started off great... my nail tech was super nice but she was not skilled at doing ombré nails. When she was finished I had the spray nail polish all over my hands. The tech then proceeded to attempt to pic the stray pieces of polish off using her cuticle clippers and a nail file. But no matter how many layers of my skin she removed she couldn't get it all. Eventually I had to make her stop ... my hands are still sore. What's worse they only were willing to give me $25 off of my service and told me that if I came back they'd redo it. But who wants to come back! I am extremely unhappy with the manicure I got done here. This is the first time I've tried this place, and I won't be going back. I first noticed many bubbles in the nail polish. I didn't want to wait another hour to get them fixed, so I just accepted that they wouldn't look perfect. Four days later and the gel nail polish is completely cracking off the acrylics in multiple places. I now have to go to another salon and pay again to get these fixed. Insanely pricey. A little over a week later one of the nails cracked. I wasn't too worried about it I just thought they were a little longer than usual and I had bumped them around too much. I went back and got a gel refill. this time it was $74. still a lot. 4 days later, another nail is cracked. I will not be going back here! Decided to give Omnia a chance since my preferred salons were closed. I waited in the chair alone for 25 minutes before someone let me know my tech was running behind. When booking, I upgraded my pedicure to a sports pedi for the massage, but the service description on the website evidently wasn't accurate. I didn't receive the sugar scrub and the massage was less than 60 seconds per leg (this is even shorter than any classic pedicure I've received at other salons, without upgrading). My feet are still callused and polish is on my skin. When I spoke to the women at the front desk about the situation, they offered me a 10% discount on my service. This brought it down to about $45 (plus the $10 tip I gave). Absolutely not worth it for the less than satisfactory service. I won't be back - unfortunate about the service because the spa is beautiful. I don't typically write negative reviews but I feel ripped off and don't want others to have the same experience. read more

This was my first time at this nail salon and although the salon is very beautiful my experience did not match up with the ambiance. I am the matron of honor in my friends' wedding this weekend, so I came in and asked for a French gel mani and a regular pedicure. Pedicure was good but when it came to my gel mani the technician did such a bad job that I had to ask for them to be removed and soaked off. I've never had that happen to me in my life. The French tip lines were all crooked and very messy. They looked very unprofessional. My cuticles were also cut so short that I was bleeding and in pain from all of the acetone. The receptionist came over to try to rectify the situation as I was clearly mortified. The second technician had to completely redo my nails and although she did a very nice job my fingers were throbbing the whole time from the previous technician's botched job. The entire thing took 2.5 hours. Then at the end, they only offered to take off 10% of my service, and only took that 10% off of the pedicure- not the total service. They even took photos of my cuticles which had dried blood on them, clearly they knew what a bad job it was. After that experience, the right thing to do would have been to say that the gel manicure was on the house! I can't believe that I was charged $82 (plus tip) for this. Very disappointed. read more

i will not be back. i had mya & she was aweful. i requested 2 have my acrylic taken off & have a fresh set put on.. when i made my appt online it said it was about 60 dollers-remember that.. i had sat down as she proceeded 2 pry my nails off one by one with clippers,, nail extensions,, & cutters as well as miss a few times & cut my fingers. she also proceeded 2 tell me 2 stop getting nude because it's hard 2 take off...? she then put on thick layers of acrylic 2 hardly even file it down so my fingers look so bulky as well as unevenly cut them & unevenly paint on every single french tip. im so upset with my nails that i ended up paying almost 90 dollers for (without tip) all i can say is my nails hurt so bad & im so upset with how they came out. read more
