Upside of the place is that it is very clean, bright lighting and seems to be kept up very well. But it's just the quality and inconsistency of service that doesn't work for me. The first time I got a gel manicure and the spa pedicure; second time was a special pedicure again and dip french mani; and this last time was dip removal and regular manicure. The first time was a pretty good experience - did both services at the same time, quick ans efficient but still generally satisfied with the work. The second time started off well also with my pedicure and the dip french mani came out well. My only complaint on that visit was a few nails had polish on the skin around the nail and got a little cut on one nail from when they were doing/cleaning my cuticles. Haven't really had that happen in a long time and knew it was a mistake, so I brushed it off that time since it wasn't that bad and was only one - mistakes happen. But during the visit yesterday, I ended up with a few cuts to different nails in the cuticle areas when the tech was "cleaning up"/doing my cuticles - at least two of the areas were bleeding a bit - so I can't chance that again. I was hoping this could be one of my backup nail salons, but I'll pass on this place now.

The pedicures are on the expensive side ($40 for regular pedi) but my first few experiences they were thorough and took their time so worth the price. The last few times I went, I made an appt and showed up on time but either myself or the person with me had to wait 20+ minutes before a chair became available, which defeats the purpose of coming together. I also ended up bleeding during my last visit and was worried about infection. But what really got me is on my last visit, I accidentally knocked against the drying machine after the pedi and had a minor imperfection in the polish, the first time that happened to me. It was so minor that I didn't even say anything but the woman noticed when removing the toe separators and called the nail tech over to fix. I literally said, "it's not a big deal, don't worry about it" but she called the tech over anyway who spent less than 2 minutes adding more polish and top coat. I was touched thinking they really cared about their product/my experience but when I went to check out, they said it would be an extra $10 for fixing the polish so I ended up paying SIXTY dollars for a standard pedi ($40 pedi + $10 tip + $10 touch up that I didn't ask for). It'd be one thing if it was my first time at the salon but I'd been a regular for months.

The technician stopped multiple times to talk on her phone and chat with people in the neighborhood instead of focusing on my service. The tools used during my service appeared worn, and I did not see fresh instruments being opened from sealed, sanitized packaging. When I asked whether the tools had been properly sanitized, I was given only a vague answer, which did not reassure me. As a customer, I believe every client deserves confidence that proper sanitation procedures are being followed. I was also disappointed by what seemed to be inconsistent pricing, as charges appeared to vary depending on the customer rather than being clearly explained. Professionalism, respect, transparency, and cleanliness are essential in any salon. Unfortunately, my experience reflected the opposite. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes meaningful improvements so future customers receive the level of service they deserve.
