I'll admit, I'm a stranger to manis and pedis, but I do know great customer service. Their online booking made it easy, and with comments added, they scheduled my wife's and my booking at the same time so we were seated next to each other. Upon arrival, I was directed to the row of 5 massage chairs used during pedicures. You get the remote so you can control the massage feature to your preference. You're then presented with a menu of complimentary items, such as coffee, tea, coconut water or a nice assortment of snacks (see photo). Talk about starting off on the right foot (and yes, she did start on my right foot)! I got a coffee which was freshly ground and brewed to order and my wife got a coconut water. The pedicure process itself was smooth, easy, and relaxing. We both got the express pedicure. My feet feel great, and Paulina did a wonderful job taking her time on some stubborn areas (my last pedicure was about 14 years ago). My wife's took a bit longer than the 30 minutes because she had her nails painted, but overall, she gave the process a thumbs up. The place itself is small, but it's cozy. A large mirror helps make the place fell much less narrow, and the design is modern but not over the top. They had music playing throughout and the sound system is great. Overall, while I can't really compare this to other pedicures, the place, the process, and the customer service were all excellent. What a happy surprise finding such a great nail salon locally in Havertown! Scheduled a fairly last minute express mani/pedi with Poshmanipedi and really enjoyed the experience. This salon is by appointment only, and conveniently right on Darby Rd. Very cozy, calm atmosphere, and the best surprise of all- they prioritize not having fumes (no acrylics), so you really can relax without all those chemical scents you usually find in a salon. TERRIBLE. DO NOT GO. Paid $150 for tips with dip. I was genuinely embarrassed to even tell my friends and family what I spent. And no, I didn't get any fancy designs--just a plain color. I booked the appointment online and it clearly said "tips with dip" would cost $61. Even $61 is overpriced--other places charge between $40-$50, I have no idea why I thought trying a new place was a good idea. I could have gotten three manicures for what I paid here. When I questioned the ridiculous price, Calvin gave me a breakdown claiming it was extra for things like gel removal (I came in with five bare nails), cut down, filing, etc. Basically, it felt like I was being charged to breathe. I've been to a lot of nail salons, and this is the only one that has ever charged me for every single minor detail--you'd think some of that would be included, like a normal salon. To top it all off, it took over 3 hours to do the most basic set, when normally it takes an hour, 1.5 tops. The worst part- the nails didn't even last a week, they are already lifting. With what I paid, I expect them to last at least 4 weeks, bare minimum. I honestly wish I could go back and demand my money back. Absolutely ridiculous--I HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS Not sure how to respond to your comment so adding to this.. First of all, I had five bare nails when I came in. Charging me $24 for dip removal when there was barely anything to remove makes no sense. I also got to the salon early--around 9:30 AM--and didn't leave until almost 12:30 PM, so no, the appointment didn't end early. It took almost 3 hours. You say the nails were done perfectly, but they were already lifting after just one week. I was in a rush since I was graduating and had to travel, which is exactly why I booked the appointment in advance. That doesn't mean I should be overcharged for basic things. The total came out to $150, when it was supposed to be $61. Even id you charged extra for some things, 75 would have been sufficient. Also, your comment about "having a feeling it was too expensive for me" is extremely unprofessional. It's not about what I can afford--it's about being charged fairly for what I got. This was my first and last visit. The pros: Easy to make a same day appointment. I was only customer. Milk & honey pedicure is pleasant. Selection of complimentary drinks and snacks. The cons: No hot towel offered with this pedicure. Technician cut my cuticle and wouldn't stop bleeding while in the salon. It finally stopped an hour after I returned home. Yes, we have all had this happen and this is a first for me that it wouldn't stop bleeding. It was how they handled it that is my reason for the 2 star rating. When it happened, I said something, the owner looked over, did not react and the technician attempted to stop the bleeding. It of course made polishing that toe a challenge and when my nails were dry and it was still bleeding, I said something and the owner did clean, neosporin and bandage it. However, neither the owner nor the technician apologized and quite frankly that was all I was really looking for and unfortunately did not receive. read more

First thing I loved about this place was that you have to call when you're parked so they know that you were here during COVID-19. Then your temperatures taken upon entering the salon and you were immediately asked to wash your hands before any service starts. Looking around I saw many containers of hand sanitizers and of course everybody was masked. They were plexiglass dividers between the nail stations and the pedicure stations. Carol had taken this time of Covid shut down to totally redo the salon. I didn't see it previously but a loyal customer who was there was going on and on about it and I thought it was beautiful also. The nail stations are new and modern and the pedicure chairs are as well. My first service was the spa manicure and it was like a standard spa manicure anywhere but was set apart was what my nail tech did. When she started the hand scrub she applied it all the way up to the elbows with lemon scented scrub with a touch of massage oil. All the way up to the elbow !!!! Nowhere else goes all the way up to the elbow and I have to tell you this one thing will set this place apart for me. After my arms were scrubbed and Massaged I noticed how wonderful they looked because the part of my arm that showed from under my shirt looked polished and pretty. I have to tell you girls I am spoiled by that and you should ask for that the next time you go to your salon. Or better yet give this place a shot. My spa pedicure was no less exciting. Everything was taken care of the way it should be and she took great care to make sure that my legs were scrubbed, masked, toweled And attended to in such a fashion that I left there looking fabulous. My nail tech was the former owner. She is kind and funny and a good conversationalist. And she certainly knows her stuff. Her son and his fiancée Carol have taken over the business, renovated it and will continue to bring modern, current styles of nail Techniques to the Havertown area. It's very close to Ardmore and the lower main line and I would highly recommend this place. First and last time at this unprofessional establishment. I decided to try this place out after seeing some good reviews but idk why it has any good reviews. The prices are the same as Omnia a luxury nail place so I assumed it would be a good experience. I go inside and I see an older women who was taking care of her client. She greets me as no one is at the desk. Then I say hello back but I guess she didn't hear me. So she said it again in a louder voice. I smiled and told her I said hello. Anyways then come a younger girl who sits me down and she doesn't even show me how to turn on the massage chair or help fix my seat so I'm just sitting there uncomfortable. Now comes another worker or male owner not sure but greets me and then sits across from me and starts eating his meal which i just found a bit odd. Now we have the older women who finished up with her client she tells me to relax and helps fix my seat. The young lady continues to do my pedicure then we have the young male guy and another female worker just laying on the couch. Laying down next to each other talking and laughing which I found very unprofessional. But back to my pedicure it was okay I guess but the massage was so horrible. I literally start crying cause of this horrible experience. They need better workers because I just wanted to have a good relaxing mani pedi but left in tears. Anyways never coming back to them. I came in about a month ago after making an appointment through there texting system. I was really excited at first when they sat me down and offered me coffee, tea, water, and some snack options thinking I was about to get some spa quality work. Unfortunately it started with my massage chair not working. I had to turn it back on every 5min even when I hit the 30min timer button, but that's not a big deal. I paid for the upgraded pedicure (organic sole pedicure) which included heel massage time. My massage lasted all of 5min total for both feet which was a bit disappointing. She did do a good job with my calluses for sure, but when it came to her painting and cuticle care it was lacking. She kept getting it all over my skin and created layers of the polish from not completely covering the prior layer she had put down for toes. My fingernails looked fair, but the gel paint actually peeled (not chipped) peeled off 2 nails within 3 days. As I was in there another customer came in with an ingrown toenail and they handled that very well. That nail tech appeared to be doing a great job. So I'll give credit where credit is due, but unfortunately for the amount I paid I did not get the quality to match. read more

The tech that was to do my nails came and sat me at her station. She asked me what color I was looking to get. I showed her a color I had in mind. She said she doesn't believe they have that color. And then told me they just started recently doing the dip powder and don't have many color options. Or them sampled out yet to see what they looked like. terrible experience and insanely overpriced. i paid $157 for a regular gel mani and pedi solid color and it took over 2 hours. male manager made me uncomfortable when he tried to wipe my face and i moved out of the way but was forced to hv physical contact w him. he cut my nails way shorter than what we said then told me they look better this way when I hv spent a long time growing out the healthy length. my nails are crooked and uneven after the removal of my last gel. my nails were healthy and long before I came here and now they're left short, brittle, and bumpy even after 5+ layers of gel color. i chose an initial color in which he said they were switching colors so gave me a similar option, that was way too transparent. then he switched to another color which was fine. the pedicure was okay, but she left sugar scrub on my legs that made them sticky. extremely disappointed and disheartened by my nails. read more

What an awesome place to get pampered during this uncertain time in our history! Poshmanipedi goes out of your way to make you feel safe and well taken care of! They ask that you call when you get there and wait until they say it's ok to come in. They check your temperature at the door and then everything else is normal except that you wear a mask and they have masks and face shields on. The clear partitions between the seats and on the manicure table are an added bonus we much appreciated as this was the first place we had all gone to inside since the start of the pandemic. I am so happy that I go to a Covid conscious nail salon. Every competent employee is masked. As soon as you enter into the salon, you are asked to wash your hands. Each station has a thick plexiglass barrier between them and a thick plexiglass barrier between you and your nail tech. When I got my last pedi, they now cover the newly reupholstered chairs in plastic, which is changed between each client. The foot tub is also lined in plastic and changed out each time. There is hand sanitizer throughout the salon for any to use. Thanks Posh for caring about your clients!! read more

Because of the area & after my visit today I'm certain this nail salon is used to a specific clientele and has their regulars being as though it's a small town BUT you'd think a nail salon being opened just 3 years would be accommodating of everyone am I right? Well, that's not how it felt today. Maybe there's a stigma of black women/people not tipping but being in the service industry for over 4 years I am NOT apart of that and always always always tip OVER 20% - it wasn't until I paid the woman doing my nails that I began to receive decent and I mean just DECENT service. By then I had already received a mediocre pedicure. You guys sure know how to make a girl feel crappy on a day she's trying to relax and just get her nails, toes & eyebrows done.
