I left Eagle Nails and Spa feeling extremely disappointed. The customer service was poor, and I found both the staff and management to be dismissive and disrespectful. Promises regarding their policies were not honored, leaving me with little confidence in how the business is managed. One of my biggest concerns involved sanitation. The tools used during my service appeared worn, and I did not see fresh instruments being opened from sealed, sanitized packaging. When I asked whether the tools had been properly sanitized, I was given only a vague answer, which did not reassure me. As a customer, I believe every client deserves confidence that proper sanitation procedures are being followed. I was also disappointed by what seemed to be inconsistent pricing, as charges appeared to vary depending on the customer rather than being clearly explained. Professionalism, respect, transparency, and cleanliness are essential in any salon. Unfortunately, my experience reflected the opposite. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes meaningful improvements so future customers receive the level of service they deserve. read more

The owner and staff is very racist. I was going there for years every two weeks. Each time I was never acknowledged. I was treated like a stranger. Additionally, I got toenail fungus from there and Lisa would not accept it. She was rude and very disrespectful. I never went to another salon. It's been a few years and I'm still dealing with the fungus. They are very courteous to white people. Watching it I was disgusted but for some reason I stopped. They knew I had fungus and said nothing. I kept inquiring about the discoloration of my toenails & the thickness. They told me I keep my polish on too long. Do not go there! You definitely get what you pay for with this place. It's cheaply priced for a reason. I was really disappointed first and foremost with the hygiene and cleanliness of this place. There was no liner in the foot baths and I watch 3 different tubs get "cleaned" meaning they spray it from a distant and immediately rinsed it out with water, no wiping or even making sure the disinfectant was all over. They reused many tools including a brush she used to scrub on top of my foot and toes, the electric buffer tips (which clearly hadn't been cleaned as you could see different nail color dust on each one). She insisted on prepping my nails while I was getting my pedicure despite me being only 1 of 4 customers on a Wednesday at 3pm. I asked the nail tech if she could use a different buffer as I have brittle nails and do not like the electric buffer. I also had no nail polish on my hands. She insisted even after I asked about an alternative 3 times. Then after she used the electric buffer and finished my cuticle care she pulled out a regular buffer block and buffed again. I don't understand why she couldn't use that from the beginning per my request?! I attached photos to show the poor quality of the cuticle care (they look worse than when I came in), I bled twice! When she went to put my shoes back on they were covered in dust from when she buffed my fingers over top, I asked for a towel to wipe them and she huffed and walked away. When I got to her table to have my nails painted you could tell it was not cleaned from her last person. The table was rough with nail shavings and clippings. I had to ask her to wipe it off, I felt so uncomfortable asking them to just complete basic hygiene tasks between customers. You can also see the poor quality painting including bubbles, uneven surfaces, and paint all around not just on the nail. This was after I asked her to clean up the paint a bit, it was even worse before! It only costed $50 and now I know why. read more

Just never again. I don't know why I wasted my time. The only one that does good nails in this place is the owner, unfortunately she was busy talking so she didn't do my nails. The rest of the lot should just hang it up. This isn't the place to go for quality work at all. One of my nails were broken and she insisted on putting a tip on it to "make it look better" only for her to put in on crooked & then dip it a million time to make it all thick, which I told her after the first dip that I didn't want it to be thick to which she responded "don't worry, I'll file for you". She gaslighted me the entire time telling it looks better...it doesn't. I can't wait to find a good nail tech that takes their time and care about the work they do. So disappointed with my second time here. I was just there on Friday August 28th, 2015. Got a French pedi and French gel mani done. Pedi was great. Thought my gel mani was great put started to notice that it's peeling off my nails. Spent a a lot of money on my last visit since I am due any day now and wanted my toes and nails done before the baby got here. Guess that went out the window. Update: spoke with the owner via their website and was told to come in to have my nails fix. So I went in 9/8/15 and the lady who did my nails did a fantastic job. Matter of fact my nails still look great as of today 9/23/15. I definitely will be heading back to get my nails done here again. Beautifully done! Bravo to Twen (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly!). She was quiet which made our little laugh even more special. I got acrylic gel French tips and she did my two pinkies with the tips first and told me to put my hands in the dryer and I said, "I'd like them on all my fingers, please." She gigged and said, "Yes!" LOL beautiful job, relatively inexpensive for how much time she spent ($35 for just over an hour) and how PRECISE she was. Great job! I'll definitely go there again. The ONLY thing that I wasn't a huge fan of was that the lady (manager?) at the front handed me a color after I picked one out. She said, "French tips? You want this color." I just said fine because it was pretty but it wasn't the exact one I had already picked out (waaah...I sound like a child lol). But she was very sweet and it needed up working out very well. I asked should I get a pedicure while waiting and she said no, I sat for 15 minutes, then she says get a pedicure, and puts me with the one nail person I specifically didn't want and meanwhile 20 minutes after my appointment, takes another customer while I'm trapped in a chair getting the worst pedicure ever. I'd had that pedicure woman before and went home and had to redo my nails. At that point, I was done. What was the point of an appointment? I tip extremely well, and I did the last time with lisa. I don't understand why I'm treated like a piece of garbage off the street? Why would I request a specific person and then end up stuck with the worst? This is the second time they've treated me poorly and I guess when someone is extremely rude, they receive better treatment? Why would I make an appointment to be kept waiting 30 minutes and be placed with the one person I didn't want? An appointment with a specific person is made for a reason. It was a rough day. I needed a little pampering. My normal nail salon in the burbs closes early and while I love their quick service, I am starting to see their color selection is lacking. Lucky for me nail salons are plentiful in the burbs and a new one just opened up down the street. Score! Eagle Nails is great. They have sooooooo many colors...my indecisive self nearly had a panic attack. The salon is clean, modern and they have a big tv in the corner so that you can just glaze over and relax. The staff is great. Even though there was a shop full of clients, they still got me into my pedicure chair and it was just a short wait till I had two staff members come over and both start, one mani, one pedi. Best of all, since they just opened, they are offering 20% off their services. The total for both was $22.50 without tip! I have paid as much for just a pedi. I went with my aunt on Saturday and this place seems very clean. Everyone that worked there was super nice and friendly. It's modern and nicely decorated. It was packed with mothers & daughters (we had an appointment but still only got to sit next to each other for the pedicure... the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars). They did a great job on our nails; they didn't seem rushed at all. The color selection is extensive - lots of Essie & OPI. I got gels for the first time, and they had a ton of good colors to choose from for that, too (I'm loving the gels btw... no chips yet and feels just like a regular manicure). I'm giving a shout out to the ladies and gents at Eagle Nails, because when I went in recently for a pedicure, I got just what I asked for and wanted...nicely done nails in the color I picked out with no real issues. When we arrived, most of the chairs were full, so my friend and I took our time picking out our colors. I settled on a dark greyish blue, and by the time we had decided, the chairs had opened up. The pedicure was fairly standard, with a nice lower leg massage before the nail painting begun. The woman who worked on me didn't speak much to me, so there wasn't a lot of interaction there, but she seemed very nice. The salon was clean and well kept, and everyone was very polite to us. Eagle nail USED to be a 5+ place. I've been going to Eagle for years -every 3weeks, but will be changing. Sadly, it has gone downhill. You make an appointment, and they take a walk-in 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment and then they make you wait. I actually heard one technician, you came late, we are busy, the customer said, there was traffic response- no matter you were late, customer said what about all the times I have to wait for you. They rush you out. Very sorry to see this happen Also after my last visit this week, they do not clean their instruments, only run under the water. It disgusted me that as a black woman I wasn't treated with the same respect as the other female customers/clients. I visited this salon because of their grand opening sale. I paid only $21 for a french pedi and gel manicure...cheap yes...quality...hardly. My gel manicure that usually lasts about a week and a half...started coming off on the second day :( and my pedicure lasted barely a week. You pay what you get...I'm guessing that is how they can afford such a huge promotion. I recently visited Eagle nails based on the recommendation of some friends. The salon was so clean and modern upon first glance. The reception was warm and friendly as well. Unfortunatly, my experience with the young man who did my gel manicure was not up to par with the rest of my experience. He was very rude the entire time. The woman next to me asked if she could have a bottle of water to which his response was rude and abrupt, barely mumbling where she could go get one herself. ( another kind employee stepped in and told him to get her one). He smudged my manicure an there was a tiny hair as well that he left imbedded in the gel. He didn't even thank me when I paid him ( including a generous and undeserving tip). I will definitely give Eagle nails another chance. The pedicure chairs looked lovely and from what I observed, the other employees appeared friendly and attentitive. I will not allow this man to touch my nails again though. read more
