Try the walking on back massage. Your welcome. Bring earplugs. The background repetitive music and noise is distracting.

Excellent massage. Highly recommended. The only downside is if you pay by credit card they add an additional 6 percent fee.

Ignore the reviews that whine about their mismatched expectations please. First off, understand…read morewhat you're looking at. This is NOT a bougie day spa. This is a massage location with staff who have a strong work ethic, kind intention, and likely speak another language in addition to English. This is not the Four Seasons so please temper your expectations. The vibe: quiet, chill with low lighting for your relaxation. The experience: Lower your voice. Check in with the desk in the front room. Take off your shoes and use their slippers or bring your own. Find the restroom in the back should you need it. Hang your jacket on the coat hangers toward the back. Find the recliner that they assign to you. Turn your phone to silent. When you need to communicate, whisper (there are likely others in the chairs beside you who arrived before you) and come to rest and be pampered. Relax and relent to the deft hands of these skilled people. For $49, you get an hour in a recliner with a blanket, and a man or woman will start you off with a warm foot soak and then proceed to offer a head, neck, arms, upper back, leg snd foot massage. They offer a shorter service too, I think for just feet. But if you have the time and can afford spending around $60-65 for an hour of R&R, I encourage you to splurge. For the love of humanity, please tip at least 15-20%. It's still a salon/spa. They work REALLY HARD rubbing people's FEET. Real talk: if you had this job, I think you would appreciate a $10-$15 tip too! Let's pay it forward.

Not too difficult to find. FDC warned me - no talking when we went in. The place is silent. We then went in. There is a small waiting room where we removed our shoes and chose slippers. Shortly someone came out and silently guided us to the rear. I sat in a big comfy recliner chair, my feet in a warm soaking bowl. Lighting is dim, sooting music, then they started massage - scalp, neck, shoulders, arms. Then legs and feet. All done expertly, leaving me so relaxed that the hour seemed like a few minutes, and I nearly fell asleep. It was lovely and I would go again.

Let me preface my remarks by saying that: 1) my body is a wreck; 2) I have been receiving…read moreprofessional bodywork for over twenty years to fix my wrecked body and; 3) no sooner do I get my body "fixed" than I go out and wreck it again. I guess this is why collision specialists like bad drivers. That said, Megan is a wonder. She's not your ordinary massage therapist, and there's nothing ordinary about the breadth and depth of her clinical knowledge. In my case she used a combination of neurokinesis and active release therapy to "reprogram" my neck, shoulder, arm and leg to reduce dramatically the chronic nerve pain that typically plagues my right arm, and to eliminate the sometimes blindingly painful sciatica in my right leg. Imagine finding someone who thinks like an neuroanatomist (because she is) and works on the body like a traditional osteopath (before osteopathy became indistinguishable from allopathy) and you have Megan. Her background is impressive (including a stint with the sports medicine program for the Steelers) and her understanding of the human body precise and deeply intuitive. And she didn't just work with me during the session. Megan left me with a set of recommendations so that I could self-correct my "bad driving" after I left the office. I am truly pain-free for the first time in months. Brava. Megan will customize your routine to fit your specific needs, as she did with me. Whether you're seeing Megan for simple stress relief or more involved work like mine you'll find her to be personable, professional, effective and extremely smart. I'm going back to see her again and soon.

Thanks to Yelp, I found this! Living in West Philly, I've always traveled to Delco to get the…read moremajority of my goods and services. Finding a good massage was the hardest thing to find. I'd wind up in Granite Run, or Lord knows where else. But, I really think I've found a great place to go, and i won't have to hunt any more! I've always needed a strong, quality massage. I need the therapeutic parts, not the candles and incense. Nothing would frustrate me more when I'd leave an establishment, my back is still STONE, and the masseuse's hands are cramped up, because she couldn't get the job done. So, I constantly have had to change my massage places, in order to find a therapist that could do a good job. But, Back in Balance, I believe, is this place. Megan is professional, yet causal. She knows her stuff! It's not like she just watched a couple of YouTube videos, or got out of massage school last month. She really gets the job done. If you really want a quality massage, with therapeutic benefits, she's THE ONE!

My mother spoke so glowingly about how great she felt after her session that I was inspired to try it myself. Serena is very kind, and most importantly, incredibly skilled. If you want a turn-me-into-a-puddle type of massage, she'll do it, and do an amazing job. But her real skill is structural integration, where she actually gets in between the fibers of your muscles and attachment points (as in, all 4 heads of your quadriceps muscle) and creates separation so that you feel looser over all, for longer than you would after just a traditional massage. She really wants to help address the root cause of the discomfort, not just trying to get to the discomfort itself. It sounds weird, but she gets into where it hurts, pulls on it, and then it feels better. She's all around an amazing practitioner. I love going because I always feel so much better when I'm finished. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I'd drive 2 hours to see her, but thankfully, she's very conveniently located close to my house.
